  • [X] Plan: Goody two shoe
-[X][Asrai Sale] Only sell the valuable commodities and simpler art on the Empire Market, retain the rest for use as gifts, or to potentially return to their prior owners: +20 Money, Researchable treasure 'An Amber Arrow' and 2 pieces of Asrai Treasure. +4 Prestige.
-[X] [ColdOne] Retain them with intent to gift. The Lizardmen would doubtless appreciate these strangely scaled beasts if you ever find the time to send them over. Gain the 'Blessed Cold One Eggs' treasure, Tradeable to any Lizardmen faction for an automatic relationship boost and a significant amount of treasure (est. 30+ Money)
-[X] [PirateStuff] Follow imperial law to the letter, return every last crate and scrap of illicit gains back to the empire and thus to their lawful owners. +10 Money, +10 Prestige, +4 Favour.

-[X][ColdOne] Retain them as your prizes. Perhaps the beasts can be tamed and trained to serve the colony's needs? This will doubtless grow your Prestige, though not your pockets in the immediate future. Unlocks the 'Cold One Pen' Blueprint, a money-making building that generates prestige and aids in defence. +15 Prestige

Dw about it. You aren't getting blown up.

A 1 is Probably the best result, because that is the Relatively Friendly Adohi-Tehga in Tlaxtlan.
A 12 would have been Mazdamundi, Lord of grumpiness and Hexoatl.
A 6 would have been Huinitenuchli, lord of Xlanhuapec
Hhm well that's absolutely great for us as he's the second most influential living slann next to old Mazda and he's the type to be Friendly and curious to warmbloods as his story of sending skinks to learn the language of skeggi suggests and the fact that tlaxtlan has an embassy speaks volumes to his willingness to have talks than say mazda or quex.

Since being blown up is out table can change the stipulation of the omake use instead to have him gain a of modicum foresight that the colony is beneficial to tlaxtlan rather than a hindrance.

Edit: and the fact he's the closest to us is something to note cause tlaxtlan is south west of where we are settling down.

Ehh I kinda picture kroak as the big e post golden throne just a powerful but incoherent husk of a once supercharged being. Though for kroaks case he's probably just recuperating his spirit due to the stress of saying no to death and annihilating bloodthirsters blessed by khorne himself to be immune to magic and still gave them true death and the cleansed the whole of lustria with a second sun.

Omake: Buying Ink and Spilling Tea (canon)
Buying Ink and Spilling Tea

"Verena smiles on me today!" Wilryn announced as she entered the scribe's workshop of one Liebtrud Steyer. She then handed the proprietress a heavy pouch of shillings — money she'd made selling benedictions and the like during her stay — and said, "As much parchment, ink, and charcoal as that'll buy."

That money would go further for Wilryn than others thanks to the hefty discount Liebtrud gave her. Her vocal appreciation burnished her store's reputation, and besides which, Liebtrud enjoyed her company.

"Sure thing," said Liebtrud as she counted the money and promptly got Wilryn her writing supplies. "So what's got you excited, Sister?"

"The governor's called an expedition into the jungle, and I got a spot on it! Some time within the next few weeks I'll be spilling goblin blood and participating in a diplomatic mission into the Centorean heartlands. I fantasised about this sort of thing, and now it's actually happening!"

"Congratulations! You know if you're the first to write in detail about them, I think it won't be long ere your name'll ring 'round the halls back home."

"I might have some competition there," Wilryn said as she took a seat on an empty table.

"I'll take a guess and say Arda Kohring." Liebtrud knew the journeywoman wizard from the nascent society of academic types in the colony. She'd been on the mission to "rescue" Polk and had subsequently been one of the first to encounter the centaurs. She'd written a paper almost as soon as she returned to the colony, very much the type to get competitive in academia.

"Hah! Nice try, she is on the expedition, but I already sorted things out with her," Wilryn said with a sly look. "She was in a good mood after she came back from that pirate cove business, so it was pretty easy to bribe her into co-authorship with a nice bottle of Annaliese."

Liebtrud's eyes widened — Annaliese was a very good, very expensive wine. "Annaliese? You brought over Annaliese? How'd you get your temple to sign off on that?"

"Didn't have to, I ended my last venture back home riding a wagon filled with an evil cult's treasures. Paid for the bottles I brought with me, plus some other things." Liebtrud supposed the fine cut of her robes was one of those other things. "The temple got some rare books so they were pretty happy all in all." Wilryn was too; she would've filled the wagon with books instead of treasure if there were enough.

"Well, fair enough," said Liebtrud, filing away the information that Wilryn had more top-shelf wine. "So who's your competition?"

"Thyriol of Saphery, a High Elf wizard. Won't even try to bribe him, I don't have any elf wine, and I'm pretty sure offering him human drink will backfire."

"So what's your plan for him?"

Wilryn shrugged. "Just ask. If he says no, it isn't the end times, I'll let Kohring worry about it if it bothers her."

They continued conversing for several minutes more, until at last Wilryn hopped off the table and excused herself, "I've got to head out. There's a Centorean trader due today I want to talk to and Pandora the Pioneer said she'd translate."

"She already learned their language?"

"Gods but she is magnificent. I pray to Verena to lend her some scholarly interest so that she'll devote an afternoon to revolutionising the field of linguistics, but it seems it isn't the right time yet. Verena guide you in your endeavours, Liebtrud."

"And you in yours, Sister." As Liebtrud watched Wilryn leave, she idly wondered whether it would be a sin to steal from a priestess of the goddess of justice. Probably, she concluded.

Half the challenge of Adohi pulling a Khonsu is how he can do it without making every human on the lustrian seaboard die of panic.

Dreams seem cliche and a bit boring, plus I want a way to drag in Thyriol and possibly Rapunzel.

Rapunzel mostly to translate for Flynn/y'all readers.

Possibly a pre-planted artefact?

Idea: Giant storm, the kind that looks like it should wreck our whole colony, it starts to hail but miraculously the hale does not hit anyone and it... just happens... to fall... into a pattern that can be read. As soon as someone notices and starts to read lighting begins to dance in the air, forming complementary script. To get the whole message you have to look at both the earth and sky since the Slann are all about balance.

Ooh. Ohkay I am gonna steal your idea a little, with modifications.

A storm's eye forms over the colony, like a vast border surrounding the sky at night. Magic converges, forming a lens upon which Adohi paints a seamless illusion of the night-sky.

Mhmm. I like the idea of it being spawned by a ritual circle planted by Adohi's command, months earlier.

Harmony is more of a Cathay thing, but no reason why this can't be a one-off.

Could have him rearrange the stars for a bit. For precedent, there's Age of Sigmar - above a victory over Chaos by the Seraphon, a smiling frog made of stars is seen in the night sky. There's also the Signs in the Stars spell from WFRP 2e: Realms of Sorcery, page 151:
Signs in the Stars
Casting Number:
24
Casting Time: 2 full actions
Ingredient: A vial of ink made from eagle's blood (+3)
Description: You manipulate the Wind of Azyr to write a subtle message in the stars. The message is not detailed and can only serve to communicate complex ideas if you and the one you intend to receive the message have discussed the signs you intend to send in advance ("One if by land, two if by sea," for example). In order to recognize and interpret the sign in the stars you inscribe, those searching for it must make a successful Academic Knowledge (Astronomy) Test. In fact, anyone who looks at the sky can make such a test to realize a sign in the stars has been inscribed. Without knowledge of what you intend to communicate, however, the meaning cannot easily be divined. That said, there is something of a "language" of signs in the stars known to Celestial Wizards and others who study the heavens. By placing signs in the stars in or near certain constellations or regions of the sky at certain times, it is possible to communicate danger, opportunity, and similar concepts, and to associate them with certain regions of the world, certain Gods, or certain races. It would be possible to communicate "There is doom for men this day," for example, or "Fate will smile on Sigmar's followers when the sun rises." The Wizard Lords of the Celestial College frown upon those who scribe signs in the stars unnecessarily and mete out unpleasant punishments on those they believe used this powerful magic lightly or pointlessly.
Adohi's starshaping would be a bit more advanced than Signs in the Stars, directly beaming down prophecy to those attuned to Azyr. There's a bit of precedent for this too, Fantastic Foresight from Warhammer 8e: Storm of Magic page 39 and WFRP 4e: Winds of Magic page 99:
Fantastic Foresight
CN:
7
Range: AoE (Willpower yards)
Target: You
Duration: 1 round
Your body shimmers as it becomes a link between allied wizards and the celestial spheres. Friendly wizards within the Area of Effect (not including yourself ) may reroll their first failure on all Channelling, Casting, and Dispel Tests. A reverse formulation of this spell is called Solmann's Discombobulation. Instead of aiding allies, you distract enemy wizards with false prophecies. They roll all Channelling, Casting, and Dispel Tests twice, taking the worst result.

EDIT: Oh wait that doesn't get Rapunzel involved since she's Ghyran. Nevermind.

Omake: Cold blooded kindness (canon)
Cold blooded kindness

It had been days since Heinrich and his companion dieter have been stuck upon this taal blessed tree hiding from the serpent and the beasts that would want nothing more than to feast on there souls and flesh but It wasn't end of there hardships as they were stuck on the tree without any proper supplies of food and drink and were constantly harrased by mosquitoes and other parasites in the swamps. After the first evening they were losing hope and energy as the parasites were sucking them dry and climate was harsh to them as they mostly lived in cooler lands of the drakwald and not yet accustomed to living in the tropics.

That Is until they heard a bunch of noise in a section of the great wood that they haven't went to so in act desperation and curiosity they went to find what made that noise as they went to it they saw it was a group of monkeys and a large red parrot having in there eyes tired eyes some sort conversation but when they heard them they immediately and efficiently scattered. The woodsman were astonished by the speed of there escape and after even more so when they found what they left behind. Dozens of Gold colored fruits that looked like they contained in them water and after tasting it was filled such sweetness that they believed were dreaming and Large as a pike wood grubs that in there desperation they ate tasted like chicken and was much more tastier than what they normally back in the lands of the empire. They were saved and blessed by the gods for this life saving blessing that shall last them days till rescue.

From far away the screecher monkey troop and parrot return to there master who was satisfied that his plan of saving the colonists so that the warmbloods would comeback and take care of the serpent and they would complete the task for him and restore the marsh to balance once more.
