"I hear not long after Xia Pan and his gang left, they got butchered by some northern cavalry army. Same thing happened to the Su Brothers, and the Morning Mist clan. They say that army is getting closer and closer..."
DO NOT PURSUE
"Yes. As soon as we march on the city, a team within will seize the armoury, start a fire, capture the prefect and leaders, secure one wall and open one gate." Yu Du says with a nod. "It will be done at night, as well, to truly catch them off guard."
Lmao he's going to have a bad day if he tries to do that.

We don't even have to kill him. He gets so much as a visible scratch and this whole army will splinter.

Also have you finished rolling Gaz?

it's a shame Chu Yan's in The Book of Grudges™, as this actually gives us a look at him and I actually find him quite entertaining for a brigand. pity about that whole 'killed our dad' thing really, he might've been something to consider as a recruit otherwise due to the possibilities of character interaction.

First making friends with Ge Dejun, then recruiting Chu Yan. Would be worth it just to watch Yu Zhong's eyes pop out.

You know reading chu yans opinion about Shu its hilarious considering were pretty much just doing something anyone who manages to make it big in this era by fighting enemies and gathering allies.

I mean sun quan and dong zhu went on adventures similar to us at their age which is part of why they have high positions now and succeed in the future.

Not to mention leading a Bandit confederatiom and succeeding in taking over land is pretty much living a fantasy too. So hes honestly doing the same thing as us. With rejecting reality and turning it into something that would suit him more.

Yeh that Him and Dong zhu are the old monster in this era with solid position and powerbase. Us, Cao Cao and liu bei being youngster working on our position, skills and powerbase

Man it looks like Chu Yan is at this point the major linchpin of the bandit army.

So assuming Liang sucessfully kills him in the upcoming fight I wonder if the bandit army is just going to collapse into a bunch of smaller bandit bands. They already seem to be creaking and unstable.
Question is do we want the Bandit army to collapse and scatter to the four winds? Right now the scum are all gather together and ripe for the slaughtering if we can keep them together until reinforcements arrive. Granted some of them will escape but they'd have to abandon the spoils they have, which may result in more dead bandits due to....'internal restructuring' .

If they scatter it's likely most of them will escape and become problems to deal with later.

Sun Jian was straight up the same age as Cao Cao, he was in no way an OLD monster if that's your standard. He just... basically had an absurd head start on romance-worthy deeds compared to a lot of the other figures.
