If we are successful in capturing or killing Zuo we will pick up more renown for dealing with the head bandit chief of the area so saving the 5 means we may have enough if military research unlocks 10 renown options.
I would ask you to put Zhang Liao in the pursuit group, but then we'd probably have to ask him to sit out a second duel in a row.

Man, we need to find someone for him to fight.

The other issue is that Zhang Liao and Liang Shu are the two highest LEA that we have so anytime we split up those two are going to be split up as the best leaders for our split forces.

I'm calling it now, the bandit leading us to their lair is Chu Yan.
Chu Yan is a rather striking looking young man, roguishly handsome and charming, with a thin goatee protruding from his chin.
As you inspect them, you notice a man wearing better armour than the rags the others are wearing - presumably a leader or lieutenant. He is wearing a red cloth around his head, and has scarred features.
The description is different and Chu Yan would never play bandit lieutnant under Zuo. He is the right and man of the men who is meant to be the overall leader. He would have taken centerstage if he was involved in this battle. Furthermore we know OOC that he is coming from the north and has not entered the county yet. This man is most definetely not Chu Yan.

Oh, my mistake then. I totally forgot Chu Yan's description and I assumed that he bandit was him.

To Establish Peace - Ravages of Time Style would be pages after pages of speculation and hints that Yu Zhong is, in fact, the last Genius, only for the reader to get blue balled at the last minute by confirming he is not. Zhu Fang is also a political mastermind and somehow Zhao Yun's identical twin brother

I want more of these updates, from Romance, and the show and such, it's good fun when having to wait multiple days for an update sometimes.

Anyone else been watching youtubers do TW: Three Kingdoms early-access let's plays? HeirofCarthage and PixelatedApollo are doing a head to head campaign as Sun Jian and Yuan Shao, respectively.

Only 10 days until release.

Hello, and thank you for watching "All the Different Versions." Today, we've seen quite a bit about To Establish Peace. We saw great exaggerations in the Classic Romance version, explored the strange twists and turns of the Ravages of Time version, and saw Liang Shu twitch and accidentally blow away the enemy army in the Dynasty Warriors version. Unfortunately, we're out of time for today, but join us tomorrow as we see our characters fight against Japanese heroes from an entirely different time period in the Warriors Orochi version, see everyone portrayed by Japanese school girls in a huge turf war in the Ikki Tousen version, and watch the entire story replayed by super-deformed gundams in the BB Senshi Sangokuden version. I hope we'll see you back here tomorrow. And once again, thanks for watching.

I WANT AN OROCHI QUEST IN THE STYLE OF ROTK NOW WITH LIANG SHU! Speaking of what will the Sengoku crowd think of us?

I'm really looking forward to the game and I like what I see so far. If I had better internet, once the game is launched, I'd stream it and chat about both the history and Romance whilst playing. My upload speed sucks though, so it's unlikely to happen.

Well, starting from tomorrow, I have a week off work. Expect more frequent Updates and maybe a few other fun things too. I do have other things to do so I can't just sit around all day writing Quest stuff, obviously, but I should have enough free time to do a project or two I've wanted to start for a while now.

So what do you guys think of focusing some upgrades on our horses not just our cavalry? In this time period horses are like car engines and improving them means bonuses to everything in general.

I think our military should focus on mobility. On the attack we can use our speed to force even stronger enemies into a defeat in detail with a concentration of force to break them. Since we breed our own horses it may be possible to eventually outfit our infantry with non war horses and speed up our armies march.

If we can breed our horses to have a higher speed and endurance merchants will be able to travel further and faster improving our economy. Fast horses combined with a relay system will allow our messengers to reach places quickly. It can also improve the speed of our supply trains when we march.

Basically, Become a Horse Lord. I want us to have at least 10,000 elite Azure Lances by the end of the rebellion plus our extra units and levies

Mobility and concentration of force is what we demonstrated in this battle by sending 300 cav vs half their number to overwhelm a portion of their army before turning on the rest. Also one of the reasons to grab superior breeding as manuver wins battles before they start. Being able to march farther and still be fresh from battle can let us hit opponents before they combine.

Cao Xing was the MVP here. This would've gone a lot different if we weren't aware of that hidden trail.

Exactly.

I really think mobility and scouting should be our MO.

We should focus on Cao Xing to outfit him with more troops. I hope with enough training we can turn them into black ops types. Maybe we can use this rebellion as training? Have them improve their stealth and guerrilla tactics.

We have 300 cav, I want to see that grow to 10,000 by the time everyone is throwing 50,000 armies around. If we can also outfit our normal troops with horses we can unlock some strategies. Like maybe use torches to pretend to be somewhere only to march our cav in the night and hit them from behind. Also I want us to have really loyal and disciplined troops.

Well for those that know of Legend of the Five Rings, I feel like a Unicorn playstyle fits us best. Full mobility and Cav, though we will want an elite core of infantry to handle things like sieges. Hmmm wonder if we can work towards the Ma Family and recruit them.
