Darken would give us a bonus to tickery while Twist Fate would most likely directly affect our social rolls with a Bonus
 
That's of course if we decide to go over and attack him. Which we aren't planning on doing.
I sincerely doubt just not attacking him is going to dodge the prophecy. Maybe it would have worked before we got the evil visions, but now something is going to start that war and short of rolling over on any demands we are likely to be throwing down.

Yes I was referring to making a God child, and it was aimed at the Omegahugger plan that people voted for before it existed rather than yours. I have no fundamental problem with your plan winning.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do that after we've actually enacted the Unknowable Bodies Ritual?

Nay, but that does not mean there is only one way of avoiding it. Taking Omega's initial concept further, if we allied ourselves to one of the pantheons, we can solve both problems at once. Ally with the Usko Pantheon, we have muscle against the Bloodied Man and an in on soothing relations with Shosho'an. Ally with the Kaketor Pantheon, and now we're friends with the Bloodied Man and have muscle in case Shosho'an wants to rain fire on us.

Omegahugger brought up a vital flaw in our pantheon and that is that there aren't enough girls :< We're attempting to remedy that as well.

Even then, we're discovering six new traits right now. No one is going to expect it when Gaerig suddenly has shark elephants, or chicken locusts >:3

Our Pantheon is literally 50% girls at the moment. And at some point in the future that will shift in the girl's favour once Seski joins up properly.

While getting a lady is a likely outcome of playing matchmaker with Saitev, that wasn't my goal with the move! If obtaining Spirit of Yanderean alliance requires us to wed a fox and a raven, then that is a sacrifice I am willing to make!

Saiga and Saitev were pretty antagonistic for years and they got over that. You also forget our Feud with Attrouska. She's pretty grateful now despite how much we cut her down.

That's because she's been cutting him down most of his life. Anyone would be bitter about that. Still, we're managing.

I don't quite think it is blatant fear mongering. Realpolitik is all well and good, but I flat out don't think Gaerig can actually pull it off. Interactions with a spirit that has fire and light as inherent things are going to be a disaster. They just run too far against her nature. I don't think we can reasonably ally with their pantheon as long as the fire spirit is the dominant force in it, and if we took over despite that I would expect him to constantly rebel against us.

Consider that it gave us the option of leaving Keshketev imprisoned and Gaerig hated what was happening.
