Time of the Gods: Into the Amber Age

It's actually 50 and 5, or just 40 tiers straight. The tier option is presented in case you want to buy a ritual that costs so much it would be nigh impossible to pick it up with a turn's budget.

Ah, should have figured that from the "big" OR... And the math adds up way better.
For some reason I believed it to be 50 DE and (5 ambrosia or 40 tiers)

Yes, for bloodlines.

What sort of effects does Gaerig singing have?
Gaerig's singing is just singing, for now. It's especially impressive, like Hera's ability to weave with clouds and sky, but it doesn't have innate properties.
Isn't a Lure Attack basically stealing adults?

But anyways, Omegahugger approves of Gaerig being an uninvited godmother for foreign babies. Provided they're cute ones.
Lure steals adults to kill them. It's a lot easier to draw someone out and slit their throat than draw them out and make them stay forever.

@Powerofmind would you mind answering a few questions?

1. What is the Keshketev - Attrouska relationship these days? I imagine he will never completely forgive her, but does he consider the grudge settled in light of Gaerig smashing all her villages, killing lots of her people and driving her to the brink of death?
2. Are there any Ur-children or notable bloodlines of Saiga or Saitev around?
3. What happens if a spirit performs a trait-granting ritual but doesn't have enough legend to pay for the trait? Debt, fizzle, boom or something else?
4. Sorry if it's been asked before, but are we able to design and perform rituals specifically for our pantheon members? If yes, can we pay for them/share costs directly or would it have to be done through amber statues?
5. Considering that in addition to Gaerig we have two other mysticism-focused spirits in the pantheon, is there any potential payoff from combined efforts beyond simple success accumulation?
6. From back when we got to choose the rewards for Gaerig's otherworldly journey, what effects would the Successor-title from Resonance of Impossibilities and Comprehension from Glimpse Creation have had? I'm curious and I don't think anybody asked that after we made the choice.

@Powerofmind, I also have a question:

Regarding Rashelki's (and the Essence Drinkers' by extension) Adaptive Avatar in battle, how long do the Evolutions last? Is it Until End of Combat, End of Turn or is it permanent?

... I guess you could really frame my question as "Are Essence Drinkers the sort of dragonlike mob that you have to kill while they're young because they keep growing stronger otherwise?"

1. Cold.
2. Gaerig has been a little out of touch lately.
3. Bad Stuff, the nicest of which is a possible penalty charged wild magic (you've been relatively lucky on those rolls thus far. You don't wanna know what 'failures' constitute for them).
4. Yes. Figurines only.
5. They can skill-stack, but that only applies if the check has no excellencies or masteries (too many cooks).
6. Successor would have given an advantage when avoiding fates Harzi avoided canonically, or making grand achievements in similar veins to Harzi. It was effectively a Plot Armor pick. Comprehension would have given a significant quantity of IC and OOC knowledge of the way magic works in several instances, and you would never be guessing blindly again.

Evolutions and Adaptations developed are maintained as long as they're useful. Rashelki and her brood are dealing with hunters and 'the strongest predator in the area' aspect boosts, so their evolutions (de-innate animal instinct, become clever predator; and convert threshold to HP) will apply as long as Saiga continues to employ those methods. If an evolutionary occurrence would make removing those ideal, they would remove them.

So not sure if everyone's seen but next turn the sea pixies should fully dissimenate and thanks to domestication will provide half their trickery and fishing to our humans.

In effect they should receive an external(?) 2/3 trickery(not sure if we round up or down) and 1 fishing for any applicable tests.

Praise the pixies!

So here is my question guys, does it not seem appropriate for the 20 year anniversary of our marriage after our husband was so generous in helping us to reform to actually have a child with him? It definitely seems more appropriate than an ur-spawn for the turn, which we can still make dirt cheap next turn to shed avatar ranks.

@Sivantic is there any chance I could talk you around on this issue?

A God Child requires both a body, Ambrosia and Sustenance. It would be very expensive to acquire in this turn.

Obviously Gaerig will be Gaerig's anniversary gift.

That's a terrible anniversary gift, why do you hate our poor husband so? More importantly we will have a body and 3 spare ambrosia (of his) and sustenance. We pop him out with a couple points of influence and plop our new baby into the water to help our people.

Hmm with lower avatar lvl, do we need to rid ourselves of some skills?

Regardless:
What skills do we want to forget to make room for others.
On the top of my head I don't want melee and fishing.

Iirc they are merely temporarily locked out, with lowest ranked skill being sealed first. Also, getting rid of melee is a terrible idea when we have to actually show up places to use our mojo.

On phone so can't get quote to work.
Why melee:
- I don't think it fits with a water/ trickster/ mystic god
- We got those bears for a reason
