Time of the Gods: Into the Amber Age

I have to wonder if we actually want this. Honestly I would rather see Saiga have it at the moment, he seems properly inclined to keep the population high and not starving to death. Honestly we should be trying to find some sort of helpful spirit of vitality or something similar and pressgang/trick it into our pantheon after this is dealt with.
God as pantheon head greatly improves the pantheon's buffs on members

Our people got Obsidian and Crystal from somewhere around here. Obsidian might have come partially from our previous Harvest Moon if some of the transmutations happened elsewhere, but Crystal...

There should be either a shore with them or a cave nearby. Might be good to combine with a Demand and exploration action to find that.
...
I doubt they have clay either since aren't a lot of shallows to speak of and the shore is rather rocky. Something niggles me about the barren though, there's probably something valuable to mine there.
Yes I called it. Our Apostate village is hardly a trade route so I imagine it is close. And guess what rocky place is right next door.:D

[X] Destroy everything. Ruin as much of the Crone's village as possible, force her out of hiding!

At least it's not our village this time.

Doing some exploring sounds like a good idea right now. Do some blessings, go to interesting places and procreate with the locals...

Less chance of accidentally smiting our village even more.

We could wander around a bit. Ever since we went Fear we hadn't really done any exploring
This is the nicest way of saying we explored all of one time I have ever seen. I do agree though, I think we should be fitting in exploring when possible. Finding a spirit that can bless health/fertility/vitality and getting them to join up seems really essential at the rate we kill our people.

[X] Catch her, make her submit!
Mostly because destroying the village is probably what Harzivan would do and when making a choice asking myself what would Harzivan do and then NOT doing that sounds like a good idea to me

-Shrine bonus - Grants a +X Strong bonus to her roll. We can assume a +2 to +3 bonus on her roll based on average Shrine ratings for the area, unless we can read that off seeing her shrine in person.(Can we?)
Your milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard, but her shrines, they bigger then yours~
since when did "Catch her?" have any rewards.

stop taking risks, all of you. This is not the Time to Gamble.

No, the moon isn't about to fall for a worldwide extinction event. Still... it could be a zombie apocalypse. I should prepare.
To note that gave her Melee, yet another skill over cap, and increasing Gaerig's chances for a higher Avatar. You know for starting as an Elemental Spirit, she's becoming surprisingly swole:confused:

Since it's already been confirmed to be a glut turn, even buying Avatar 8 leaves her her at Skill Cap to further go to Avatar 9. I'm starting to think that raising Avatar has become too easy with how far we've gotten @_@
Most spirits aren't fking crows, collecting every button and glittery piece of string they find and never letting go. Watching you guys force yourselves to despise a trait was probably the funniest thing I've seen this year.
So uh...apparently we can boil water by force of will. This has potential for unlocking Fire affinities.
No, you just... used a fire. I mean... you do have those.

We should have stayed formless!
Far be it from me to say "you guys should have done X," but it's not like I only tried to balance one type of play. I tend to run thought experiments regarding as many potential paths as possible when I play quests, running this one hasn't changed that. You could have tried to play Harzivan again, and I wouldn't have so much as blinked. I was perfectly ready to run him again, maybe with some different characters thanks to your choices, but honestly I would have been excited even for that. What would you have done differently, knowing what you do now? What other pitfalls would you have hit, thanks to my changes? Would you have tried to do Yahweh again?

Given that our Shrine rating is 3, that's not exactly revealing :p
Still, given that she's an Art spirit, and knows Mysticism, it's a reasonable assumption that her shrines are going to be relatively fancy, with good extensions. Shrine 6 + Influence 5 is a good build for her type.

A Shrine+Influence Spirit would have numerous shrines, all with powerful extensions, and it fits her hill fort mode of play.

I know, it's surreal.

Ah, tragic.

Going to need to find some other way to attain the Water That Is Fire, though currently it looks like we're more likely to go Moon->Eclipse->Sun->Fire, which is ass backwards, but very Gaerig way of approaching the matter.

And then we promptly tried to exploit it for a Why Not Both to squeeze out a Shrine boost, only for Dread RNG to refuse us.

Then we provoked a glut and bought No Moons, despite it being the most likely way to buy out all the Moons and free up the table. xD

Yeah, iirc i calculated that pulling a 6 roll glut with 50% traits and getting no traits was something like a 1.5% chance? I wonder what the chances of us never fear buying influence as a spirit were (dont intend to figure that one out though, unless i can find an online calculator willing to accept a bunch of different percentages for cumulative probability or whatever that would count as, instead of just using binomial distribution/probability calculators...)

While traits are preferential and tend to keep a roughly similar metric of 5-10 ranges, attributes can get balloony. If you just get stuck at a cap or over it, attributes will start eating upwards of 50% of the table for individual picks, let alone the entire quartet going as high as 80% of the table.

So what's our current Glut table look like at present anyway?
I think Nox might put Eclipse and Shadow up, Double Moons put all the Moons in, and that's about it for trait given slots? Depending on what we do here of course.

Also, could we have the affinity descriptions in the OP character sheets or are they too bulky?
