Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
Hunting it down lets it pull strength from the underworld for as long as it can hide. Cutting off the source means that it either accepts defeat or comes to us.

Either way we are going to have the flight within the Piper's body. And if I'm trying to make sure something is dead then the first thing I'm doing is sealing the exits.

Let's see.

So we can try to hunt down the parasite for good, taking advantage of it being wounded.
If we succeed, then that's it. And sealing the breach should be pretty simple.
But if we fail, the parasite will have had ample time to pull underworld's resources, so the final battle will be at i's toughest. The sealing itself may become compromised.

On the other hand, if try to directly seal the breach, the parasite will notice and rush to stop us.
It will start pulling and concentrating resources, but it will still be hurt and without time to accumulate too much.
So, a middle stage of difficulty

With the breach sealed and the Piper's help, defeating the parasite will be no longer a problem.
We may even have a decent chance of capturing it, facilitating the study of underworld's creatures.
So I'm going for that.

[X] Perform the sealing first, without the connection to the underworld ecosystem, the parasite will not be a threat.

[X] Hunt the parasite down, you have wounded it awfully, best to finish it and then go for the seal.

I don't want the parasite to do even more damages to the Piper once it goes berserk with its exit cut off.

I also want to try getting it's core and that seem like the best option for that. (the Piper purification leave nothing of the parasite)

Ps: don't forget to vote with the X in the brackets, otherwise i am not sure it's counted

We haven't completely recovered from our injuries at the summit and we also strained ourselves channeling that lunar qi. There's something to be said for avoiding the most dangerous option when we're not at 100%.

The Cathedral is our wind-darkness-music site, getting it on the voting table seems smart. I'd rather not create an extra "actually fumigate the Cathedral of Winds" project on top of other development needs. Let's wrap this up now.

I'd rather plug up the oil spill before starting clean up, also better chance of capturing the parasite for study/loot

Let's listen to the experts. Suyin thinks this is the better idea and she's the one doing the work

IMO, the most dangerous option is sealing the parasite. We're not 100%, and we'll need to defend against an enemy by ourselves, since Saying would be bsut with the sealing. So we'll have to spend more energy.

Meanwhile, hunting down means that we'll bring the fight to the parasite and surprise it, and might send less time fighting with our Yin arts.

We voted for the option with more time. We can use the time to hunt it down.

... Right, the Art of War.

Always leave an opening for your enemy to retreat, for nothing is as deadly as men who know they are dead. The same principle should apply even in nature--if it has no ability to withdraw, it'll focus from survival/completing it's mission to maximum damage in the time it has left.
