that is black-haired. Everything in that art has a level of stylization and color tint to it. Ling Qi has purple hair with a blue underlayer, and Gan Guangli's armor is gray instead of white. I'm also pretty sure his cape is not canonically pink.
If Yrs really wants to rake in the dough he could commission stickers/merch of every husbando option and promise to choose whichever prospect makes the most money
That's definitely a way cooler look for Liming than I had previously envisioned. I love the butterfly collar, much more than the simple embroidery I had been thinking

Well, I knew LQ is very yin and GG is very yang, but I didn't think about the context in which they form a unified whole.
The other two buddies in mini boss squad are gonna fill out the other two seasons, with Danny boy being fall and Xia Lin being Summer
Then is GG Spring? I thought he would be more of a Summer
When we were visiting beavers, he was called "Lord of Spring".
Makes sense. He is of the Rising Sun after all.

But yeah. Ling With is Winter, followed by Gan, Spring. Then Xia Lin, who's Summer. And Meng Dan would be Autumn, I guess
Looking at their Ways, there is some connection. I'm probably misremembering some stuff, but....
Xia Lin is the Summer, the Peak. She's the Horizon on the sky, ever chasing the future to make things better. Meng Dan (not enough information on his Way) is Fall. He records the history of the year, especially when things are starting to change for the worse and either and stagnate.
Ling Qi is Winter, who Ends the old and pits this to rest. She restarts the cycle to give new things room to grow. Gan Guangli is Spring, a guiding and preserving Buddha, who guards and protects the people and preserves them in harsh times until they have space to grow.
And then it loops back to Xia Lin....
