Short Queen Renren, her strong right arm, and her vicious left hand.
The Sun and Moon led by the Steely Star.

Last I remember, it kept on going up? Almost to the point of being a joke.

Ling Qi: Perhaps now that I have advanced another stage in cultivation I will look less like a beanpole, as clearly I don't like being tall.
Also Ling Qi: Every time she goes up a stage/etc she keeps on getting taller.
And she's only G5. Imagine how tall she'll be when she hits Cyan and her body fully resembles her subconscious view of herself.

wait CRX is brunette???? why did I think she was black-haired for this long
that is black-haired. Everything in that art has a level of stylization and color tint to it. Ling Qi has purple hair with a blue underlayer, and Gan Guangli's armor is gray instead of white. I'm also pretty sure his cape is not canonically pink.

Oh shit, LQ and GG are literally the yin and yang of this retinue.
You only just noticed that now?

Ling Qi is diplomacy/priestess het-female moon (plus ice)
Gan Flexington is military het-male sun (plus throws hands)
CRX is an administration ace of pure light (and swords)

She is about as close as it gets thematically to being exactly between them.

Well, I knew LQ is very yin and GG is very yang, but I didn't think about the context in which they form a unified whole.

So I think Lady Ren might be summer- starlit summer nights with fireflies?- and that would mean we still need a Fall.

If I. remember correctly, one spirit called Gan the Lord of Spring? Either the beavers or the mermaids.

But yeah. Ling With is Winter, followed by Gan, Spring. Then Xia Lin, who's Summer. And Meng Dan would be Autumn, I guess

Looking at their Ways, there is some connection. I'm probably misremembering some stuff, but....

Xia Lin is the Summer, the Peak. She's the Horizon on the sky, ever chasing the future to make things better. Meng Dan (not enough information on his Way) is Fall. He records the history of the year, especially when things are starting to change for the worse and either and stagnate.

Ling Qi is Winter, who Ends the old and pits this to rest. She restarts the cycle to give new things room to grow. Gan Guangli is Spring, a guiding and preserving Buddha, who guards and protects the people and preserves them in harsh times until they have space to grow.

And then it loops back to Xia Lin....
