Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
Alas we do not have the SFX budget to actually show the guiding cultivation portion(it gives cultivation progress boost, of course it does that)

[X] Visit Li Suyin's workshop, if she will allow it. Ling Qi was curious about her project.

Mostly because I want Ling Qi to try to convince Xiulan that Elder lessons are worth it. She hadn't gone to Elder Su's lessons either, too. I would be amused if it's a thing against the Hua family lol.

Xiulan didn't go to the lessons because her cultivation benefits lite from lectures.
This is nothing strange, people learn differently well from different methods.
Her Heaven and Fire cultivation probably only makes that more pronounced.

I think a hidden part of Ling Qi's advantage is that she does not have any such weaknesses.

I think we should work harder on being friends with Li Suyin, she seems to be rather isolated in the inner sect, and I think she could benefit greatly having another influence on her decisions besides her mentor.

In other news, I just binged this story in a few days, great stuff! Its the first time for me to get hooked on this kind of story/genre/medium. Thank you for the entertainment!

Curse my sudden by inevitable betrayal !

Have to say I find these Elder lessons disappointing. They are all just the elder talking with no class participation at all. Might as well listen to a recording or read a book.

Eh, beats the hell out of a three day quest event with Q and A votes.

If we want personalized sessions, we need to earn ourselves some like we did with Jiao.

Have we taught zhengui how to read ?

Hmmmm.....

If we teach him and Biyu at the same time, we can let them communicate with each other early.

We'll have to wait 2-3 years though, probably not worth holding off on ZG's
education for a cute scene.

I'll be locking this one up in about three hours by the way. Glad to see all the choices getting at least a little love.

No Meizhen back off your scene is later

Eh, wanted more Renxiang hugs, but that's what happens when it's "Oh you can pass on this" combined with "HEY HERE'S TWO FAN FAVORITES"

I take solace knowing she still got about 15% of the overall vote, so she's not completely out of our hearts~~

[X] Cai Renxiang was not expecting her back until later, but Ling Qi could check in on her

The thing is - we work for her. Even if we never vote for her social, guess what, we still get her social. It's not the same with other two.

We don't necessarily deepen the connection that way, however, which could be dangerous.
Personally, I plan to keep an eye out for a chance at a more substantive Renxiang action, though I admit that taking options like this is the easiest way to get those.

Like others have said, we're already going to visit Renxiang to drop off our notes, and we just talked to Suyin, but we haven't seen Xiulan since the tournament. She really pushed herself in that, and I think it's a good idea to see how she's holding up.

You kind of have to go above and beyond sometimes--I know, it's why I'm just musing wistfully instead of effortposting.

Two or three lines of dialouge before a lesson does not count as talking.
