Since Iron Man 2 is coming up, I've been thinking of possible actors to play Whitney Frost(Madame Masque) and Hedeon Vanko(Crimson Dynamo). I'm thinking Emilia Clarke as Frost and Dolph Lundgren as Vanko. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
[X] [Replacement] Do not make the changes, Black Widow and Silent will remain where they are.
[X] [Reshoot] Reshoot to improve a roll
- [X] VFX x2
-- [X] if 50 or higher, stop
[X] [Reshoot] Intense Focus on a single roll (+10).
- [X] Gemma Arterton (x2 if VFX only took 1 roll)
[X] [Mid-Credit] Add a scene of Fury contacting Mockingbird about her next assignment as he reads the Howard Stark file.
[X] [Post-Credit] We see Black Widow sitting at a dimly lit table with a shadowy figure. She coughs into her fist before offering the shadowy figure an incomplete copy of the index as proof of her loyalty so she can work with them. The shadowy figure accepts, saying she's "earned a spot at the table". (Write-in)

She's born to Count Nefaria, an Italian, but I don't believe her mother is known so we could throw that in to fit a certain ethnicity if needed. Madame Masque doesn't really fight in my pitch, she's more of an acrobat than a fighter.

Natalie Portman. She does (did?) Black Swan in 2010. Acrobatics and Ballet aren't 1:1, but the flexibility and physique is there (and more importantly, still relatively fresh). She's not playing Jane Foster so she should still be available I think.
If not her, Mila Kunis (also starred in Black Swan as a ballerina). She'll probably be on the cards too if we ever decide to use Yelena Belova in the MCU in the 2010s.
If we want her to be older, Penelope Cruz could pull it off. It's just the above two could stick in the role for longer (dunno how long we're planning to keep Masque around).

You were very surprised to see the VFX team working so hard when you came to check on them. Calling out to one of them you were even more shocked to see him looking at you with fear in his eyes. Calming him down you found that your previous reaction to bad VFX had become legend through the studios. The team was thus making doubly sure that there was not a single mistake this time around so as to avoid your anger.
Huh...You should feel bad about this, right?
Karl Urban Negotiations: 54 Jean Reno Negotiations: 51 Gemma Arterton Screen Presence: 72 (Reroll) +10 (Intense Focus) = 82
Karl was a bit busy what with his role in the upcoming film Red, but he also felt that his scenes with Gemma could be better. In the end, his desire to show that he could be the best choice for Hawkeye was enough to convince him to spend some of his time during reshoots.
Jean however was a bit more difficult. Having to divide his time between this movie and the French film 22 bullets (L'immortel in France) he had been exhausted and ready to take a small break. That he had to come back because apparently a "wet behind her ears rookie could not bother to keep up with her lines" was not his idea of one. He still did so, if only to make sure the film did not suffer for it.
It was more than enough for Gemma it seems, as she threw herself into the role. Another month of training thanks to the advice of Yayan, and the improvements in VFX, were more than enough for her to finally get into the groove of being Natasha Romanoff. Her fight scene with Karl looks much better now, and her then seduction attempt which then turns out to be a way to slip a tracking device for Swordsman to attack is finally smooth less. You know how much David had been worrying about that part.
Your response to Marvel was not taken with much grace, but neither was it taken with much anger either. The fact that Gemma's scenes showed a noticeable improvement also helped turn many of the Committee's opinions there. They left with an unneeded warning not, you were the one who campaigned the strongest for this movie, and you knew very well the consequences if it bombed.
The Mid-Credit Scene had little to no problem, only filming one of the blonde Staff members from behind as Fury talked to her and passed over the Howard Stark file. Favreau had no problem with it as it fit with his plans, so there's something.
Unfortunately not many people had an idea as to what to add as a Post-Credit Scene. Though there was mention of Natasha and a hidden figure, and her getting a "seat in the table." Perhaps something can be done with it.
Natasha Romanoff is escorted through a long passageway where medieval and renaissance paintings hang on the wall; suits of armor line both sides as she enters a tastefully decorated room while soft music plays. A man in an expensive suit is looking at a painting, with his back to her.
MYSTERIOUS MAN: Did it work?
NATASHA: Fury is still suspicious, but believes he has a handle on me. The rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. follows his lead, though Barton remains hostile.
MYSTERIOUS MAN: He's just one man against the tide. He doesn't matter, you have performed admirably Romanoff, and you have earned your right for revenge.
As he speaks he slowly turns, the screen turning black before he can be revealed.
Well, it's close enough, right?
[] [Change] Yes, it works for a Post-Credit Scene.

Hmm...me thinks that we could create a connection using the villain from Iron Man, kinda linking off the two scenes, but not in a obvious way. Maybe saying something about a certain agent from the group? Just throwing ideas.
Way to go, Gemma! You even did mildly better than Karl.
Now, I'm going to vote for greenlighting the movie and for the post-credits scene as is, but I don't know when to release Hawkeye. Any suggestions, everyone?

@StarSerpent made a good post on page 77 about when are good and 'bad' times to release a movie. Feburary is considered a dump month. Here's a relevant portion of the post for a refresher.
It's also important to note that the conventional wisdom on dump months can be flipped on its head – Black Panther, for instance, had basically zero competition when it was released in February (it also coincided with black history month, so it's not just the MCU factor). The MCU actually has a history of winning big in dump months – Guardians for example released in an August, and Shang-chi in a September.
If we can establish a reputation for good MCU consistency, then releasing dump months become an advantage, since we'll be able to hoover up the box offices during those periods – all the competition will just be assumed by the general public to be dog shit or meh in quality.
Considering we have made consistently good movies, there's a chance that Hawkweye will do well in a Feb release. Preferably on a Friday. Looking at the movies released that month in 2010, I'm leaning towards a February 9th release.

For sure, Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief was considered a commercial success. Given I sense that not many people knew what they were getting into when they went to see the movie.

I mean, we don't have to release Hawkeye in February, since I believe we're currently in early January. We could release it in January, but if not, February 9 looks good.

As far as it goes, other competition in February includes Shutter Island, which is a Thriller and so might tap into a few of the secretive vibes we're going for? Not many, but, y'know. Just something to think about.

True, but there's also the fact that Marvel wants it to be release in Feb. Considering we denied them last time, it's best to follow their request this time around. We want to have a good relationship with them after all.

-[x] [Change] Write In: then the camera zooms out, showing we were just watching a screen, a screen sitting on a desk with Nick Fury behind it.
Setting up Black Widow as a more of a double agent, or at least making people wonder.
