I say we release it now. It's good enough and perhaps the crowd will rush in because in all honesty January and February are when the bad films of the year usually come out.

...Or at least that's what I remember.

Are there any movies early in the year that should be noted?

Considering the idea that few good movies release early in the year, it could be helpful since we don't have any major competition at this time.

The movies we would have the most competition with during late January will be released on the 29th, so that's why the 22nd is when I want to release Hawkeye. Our biggest competitor on the 22nd is a Bollywood flick, and there's only one movie there besides the Bollywood movie that made more than $100,000 in the box office, so we should be good to go.

So, I don't know much about movie releases, but someone mentioned a post in page 77 about good months to do so and it said that if we had to put a movie in the Jan/Feb period it was better in late Feb because otherwise it couldn't be released in China, as it has a ban on foreign movies during those two months due to the spring festival. Is that still a consideration we should take?

That does make sense. I believe we could delay its release for that. Maybe even do some intense focus rolls to improve either the sound effects or editing, who knows? :V

No, it will still register as this plan unless you voted my plan out unshortened. Like the example below:

I don't know, but it might be related to the Red Room. Maybe she broke free of their mind control? Anyway, I don't think we're going to go for the revenge aspect yet, since we might save that for a Black Widow solo movie in the distant future.

Since Natasha is more of a villain this time around, David and Chad are taking inspiration from the "Ultimate" version who wished vengeance on America for the damage done to her country.

Here however, they are trying to make it more of a "Vengeance on S.H.I.E.L.D.", as for the reasons, that's for you to discuss about.

In fairness, 'revenge' here is what the other person is assuming Nat's motive is. It could be different from what is stated.

Question about this plan though – if we're releasing in Feb, and it's currently Jan, and it takes a month for any reshoots anyway...

It saves money.

Edit: You know, this is a bit more complicated than what I had envisioned. So, here's the thing. From here on out, you can't release movies on the same month you're in. I.E. You are in January now, you can't release on that month, instead it has to be in February or in later months. If you're in September then you can't release there, you have to do it in October or late months.

I think this will make it much simpler.
