The Smallest of Dragons, The Loudest of Roars (An ASOIAF Valyrian Adventure Quest)

So, I say we take either Inherited or Tamed with either a Large or a Very Large Dragon (I think choosing Monster will be a bit of Trouble...can we even afford to feed a Dragon that big?). For the Tragedy, either Murder or Freehold's Triumph. And as for Position...let's not take any. We are too young by Law and not really suited for it. Let's work our way up instead.

As I said, I think we already have too many Weaknesses and not enough Strengths. Piling it on and on with a Position that we are ill-suited for, a Tragedy that really leaves us with almost nothing outside of just our dead Family and a Dragon that can die rather easily is just too much for me. There is 'Making it a Challenge' and then there is 'Trying to Fail'.
This is an administrative position and our stewardship is Legendary, it would be difficult for us to utterly fail at this job, this is actually the position we'd most be suited for actually. And we'd be elected, so we would have some kind of mandate at least. Also, @Magoose, do we know the advantages a bonded dragon has IC? We are a Master at Dragon Knowledge and Dragon hearted, could you give us any insight?

Lets just say that your dragon is not like other dragons. Besides being insanely intelligent and being able to fight other dragons that are Monsters all by itself, but being clever about it...

And it is far more powerful then its size really ought to be, because it's belly produces blue flames, and it is only getting hotter as it grows older

Your Dragon is literally going to grow up to be able to produce fire so hot, it can melt stone and destroy entire cities.

As for the Censor position: You were not elected, you were appointed by the Consol of Valyria... an action that is technichally illegal. Because you did not offer yourself as a canditate to run for office.

...Discount everything I said about the Size, Bonded Dragon is awesome.

[] Plan: Bonded Dragon is Awesome, but let's not get ahead of ourselves
-[] Vhaeron

-[]Bonded (Available because you have Dragon Hearted): Your egg was placed next to your crib when you were a babe, as is tradition when a new child is born, and there are eggs waiting to be handed out. Unlike the vast majority of Dragons… yours hatched almost immediately, and you have been bonded for life ever since. And in that bond you share… you feel something else… something you have spent a lifetime trying to figure out. (Can only Take the Small Size for your Dragon)
-[]Small: Your Dragon is young, fast and swift, rideable by even a novice rider, but lacking the true power of the Dragon Lord needs to really make an impact… For now at least.
-[]The Murder: You had seen the smoke rise from your home… It was nothing you thought… nothing at all. Until you returned home… your family Villa in ruins… your Dragons, dead or scattered across Valyria and the fourteen flames. And your Family all dead. Their bodies are strewn at the dinner table… the feast still warm. They were waiting for you to come home when they were killed… But no one remained. You were all alone.
-[]None: You were far too young to hold any Senatorial Position by the Valyrian constitution. A Regent will be taking your place until you are 21, of age to enter Valyrian politics.

Reasoning
1. After the Explanation @Magoose gave, I hope nobody will disagree with the Dragon-Type and Size. I am completely open to change his Picture and Name though, if anyone has better Suggestions.
2. While Outlaw's Justice is cool, I don't think we should start off with literally EVERYONE hating us due to our Fathers Actions. The Murder still provides hidden Enemies, but also potential Allies.
3. As @Magoose said, holding any Office at our Age is illegal and could come back to bite us HARD. Let's instead work our way up once it's time. The War will open plenty of Opportunities.

-[]The Outlaw's Justice: Your Father was a man who had a lust for power, influence, and above all else… history. He wanted to be remembered as the man who brought the Freehold to Greatness! Unfortunately, his idea to bring the Freehold to Greatness was through Tyranny. He refused to step down when the Crisis was over, and the Freehold was safe… And well, like every dictator that tried to seize power from the Senate… they failed. He was eaten by the dragons, torn to pieces. But that was not far enough to sate the Senate's Wrath. Everyone died… from the noblest and honorable men of your family who had given everything for the Freehold, to the women whose only crime was standing by the men they loved… to the Children who knew nothing… and the babes who did not get a chance to live. The Dragons they once rode were captured… the eggs left to you to rebuild the families dragon riders, once you had heirs of your own. The only reason you lived… was to Watch… and to not create a power vacuum for a hundred or more great houses to try and rise to take your place in the Senate, and of the Fortey Families themselves.
-[]Censor: You were elected, by chance to the second-highest political office in the land, the Censor. Charged with managing the finances of the state, the Valyrian census, even a few junior military appointments, primarily within the tax collectors… You are possibly the most powerful bureaucrat in the State… and there is another problem… Why the hells did they elect you when you weren't even up for election? In fact, the better question was… who was manipulating the power players behind the scenes? And in all the god's names would they blatantly sentence you to such a painful existence... where your mere presence would be liable to get you executed under Valyrian Law.

I think this would be an interesting start that would put us in a position to acquire personal power. Since the Consul appointed us as Censor, we have decent intrigue, have legendary stewardship and are lucky, I feel that the benefits would outweigh the risks of being in this position. The Outlaw's Justice is also an interesting backstory, shall we try to avenge and vindicate our father, or shall we cast off the stain he wrought upon our line? I am open to suggestions until the vote opens!

I think we might want to wait until we are 21 because that could give us time to train before we are given a position in the government.

Thoughts?

We can't get any better at stewardship, we're a god tier administrator, which is why I am for us accepting the position. As for the legality of it, the Consul appointed us, so if people want to punish us for it, it would imply his guilt as well, which is why I am not THAT worried about being shafted for that. It would give us personal power and a way to rehabilitate our family's image, and to network with the movers and shakers of the Freehold.

It would also give us even more Stress, and countless Opportunities for the People who wanna bring us down for good to REALLY screw us over. Also, in Combination with Outlaw's Justice, I do not see great Prospects for us to start out in such a high Position when literally EVERYONE ELSE IN VALYRIA (except our Dragon) starts out as an Enemy who hates us.

Definitely leaning towards this type of plan since, 1.) These positions at this time just reek of traps made by whoever our family's enemies are and 2.) I personally want us to be able to take part in the coming Ghiscari War and I doubt Valyria's going to be sending it's bureaucrats to fight unless things get dicey. We're decent at command and martial with time to grow.

How long does each position last exactly? Until the current Consul's terms are done, longer or shorter?

As for dragon image, clearly there is only one choice. We are good at making money, cynical, don't like people and have a perhaps unnatural bond with our dragon. Clearly we are Valyrian Seto Kaiba :V

Wrong:

they distrust you for your fathers Action. They don't hate you, as justice has been served.

they expectyou to rebuild yourself and to serve the freehold honorably now.

A consuls term is two years. A Censors term is only a year long.

however unlike Consuls who are bound by constitution to only serve one term every ten years, censors can be reappointed without any repercussions.

they are in a sense the power behind the throne so to speak.
@Magoose So it is just a general sense of distrust for being part of a traitor's family?
And a sense of pity.

the senators were bloodlusted and didn't think they would go to far in seeking justice.

but they went to far and nearly killed an entire family for one mans folly.

Let's see here... I think I'm not really into having a position before coming of age or having the backstory of being the son of Valyrian Julius Caesar, so I think that I would not go for a plan that involves those two things. Anyway, dragons are awesome and that's all that matters. :p

Now I feel even more confident on accepting this position. I don't think picking it means we'll avoid combat entirely, otherwise all the other Dragon Riders with government positions wouldn't either, and the description says we somewhat deal with the military. We won't be surrounded by enemies looking to destroy us, just distrustful people. And if we demonstrate competency we could even be reappointed. Also, I think it is a better way to stand out than as a combatant, we are not very good at fighting or command, this way our future does not hinge on how well we do in the war. Am I wrong in assuming we won't be soft locked from combat @Magoose? Or will our duties impede us in engaging in it?

I definitely want Valyrian Julias Caesar as the player character's father, but I also want to take part in the Ghiscari war for fame, glory, soldier freinds etc and also for our dragon to have combat experience pretty sure dragons grow bigger from killing people.

I guess this was probably at least part of the reason of this comment...
However, i shall say this:

Dragonhearted is a must if you want to become...

Well lets just say more then just a powerful man in the freehold.
