The Power(Harry Potter/The Gamer)

1.) You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice.
[X] Attempt to surreptitiously set the cheat-sheet on fire.

2.) While walking down the street you see a wallet on the side of the road. It has a small amount of money in it, but no identification of any kind. There is nobody in sight.
[X] Take the money, and then set the wallet on fire.

3.) Someone has played a prank on you which involves your public embarrassment and everyone begins laughing at you. However, you doubt they meant any harm by it.
[X] That jerk! Set their house on fire.

4.) You have arrived late to work because you had a flat tire. You've been on time every other day for the past month, yet your boss yells at you about it in front of all your coworkers.
[X] Set his car on fire.

5.) You have just returned home from a long day's work when a friend calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back.
[X] Sorry, too busy setting things on fire.

6.) A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off.
[X] Set a fire to distract the crowd, then escape in the chaos.

7.) You have saved up for months to buy a new bike. As you're getting ready to buy it, a child runs by and steals your money. You chase him down and find that his mother is deathly ill and the child stole the money to buy her medicine.
[X] Take back your money, and set their house on fire.

8.) A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out.
[X] Obviously, it's not dangerous enough. Set it on fire.

9.) A very strong man approaches you while you're eating lunch and demands that you give him some food. He doesn't appear to be starving or poor. There is nobody there to stop him from taking it.
[X] Set the food on fire.

10.) You have inherited a large sum of money from your great aunt.
[X] Invest it in a flame thrower, to better set things on fire.

11.) You are given a small plastic puzzle that looks to be difficult to solve.
[X] Set it on fire.

12.) Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent.
[X] Set the courtroom on fire.

13.) You would rather end up in:
[X] Hufflepuff, duh.

The Feast
Now that you've a bit of time to yourself, under the guise of thinking about your answers for the Hat's quiz, you dismiss the relationship pop-ups you've accumulated.

[+30 relationship with Neville Longbottom for actions on the train and boat ride]
[+30 relationship with Hermione Granger for actions on the train and boat ride]
[+30 relationship with Susan Bones for action on the train and boat ride]
[+20 relationship with Ronald Weasley for actions on the train]

[+10 relationship with Draco Malfoy for actions on the train]

[+10 relationship with Albus Dumbledore for actions on the train]
[+20 relationship with Alastor Moody for actions on the train]
[+10 relationship with Amelia Bones for actions on the train]

After that you proceed to answer the Hat's questions, and after it deliberates on your answers it murmurs in your head, "Your personal choice and the results both agree that you belong in Gryffindor!"

[Quest Complete!]
Reward: 20xp, Gryffindor Title

[+10 relationship with Ronald Weasley]
[+10 relationship with Fred Weasley]
[+10 relationship with George Weasley]
[-10 relationship with Draco Malfoy]
[-10 relationship with Severus Snape]
[+10 relationship with Minerva McGonagall]

The last word is shouted to the hall at large, and as the hat is removed you hear loud cheering coming from the table of those in red and gold robes, with polite applause from the other tables(though you notice Susan and Hannah looking a little disappointed at the Hufflepuff table, though not surprised), save the silent table of green and silver.

Making your way over to the Gryffindor table you sit down between Hermione and Neville.

You quietly and idly chat with the two of them as the sorting goes on, clapping when Ron is sorted to Gryffindor. Once the sorting is finished Dumbledore stands up and speaks.

"Welcome! Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Thank you!"

As he sat back down everyone began to clap and cheer. A very strange pre-feast speech, that. None the less your attention is taken by the dishes in front of you, now piled high with food. You take a small selection of a bit of everything and begin to eat. As you do a ghost nearby, with a ruff about his neck, says, "That does look good. I haven't eaten for nearly four hundred years. I don't need to of course, but one does miss it. Have I introduced myself? Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington at your service. Resident ghost of Gryffindor Tower."

Ron chooses this point to speak up, "My brothers told me about you! You're Nearly Headless Nick!"

The ghost looks a little affronted at this, replying with "I would prefer you to call me Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-"

But before he can finish a sandy-haired boy, Finnigan, asks, "Nearly headless? How can you be nearly headless?"

Now looking quite miffed the ghost exclaims, "Like this!" then reaches up to grab his left ear and pulls, causing his head to swing to one side as though on a hinge. Fellow was rather obviously improperly beheaded. Looking pleased at the stunned, and some sickened, looks on the faces of those around him Sir Nicholas flips his head back up onto his neck, coughs, and continues, "So! New Gryffindors! I hope you're going to help us win the house championship this year? Gryffindors have never gone so long without winning. Slytherins have got the cup six years in a row! The Bloody Baron's becoming almost unbearable! He's the Slytherin ghost."

Conversation continues around you, but you zone it out as you focus on a quest window that's popped up.

[Quest Alert:] Ensure Gryffindor wins the house cup!
Completion Reward: 300xp, 10 galleons.
Failure reward: 30xp

Once you've selected your choice you turn your attention back to the conversation and meal. There's some talk about accidental magic and how everyone found out they were a witch or wizard, though the prefect brother of Ron's, Percy, and Hermione are instead talking about lessons. Instead you let your eyes wander the High Table. There's Hagrid, Professor McGonagall, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape... And others.

While you were distracted checking the names and titles of the teachers the feast seems to have drawn to a close, and Dumbledore is standing again.

"Ahem--Just a few more words now that we are all fed and watered. I have a few start-of-term notices to give you.

"First years should note that the forest on the grounds is forbidden to all pupils. And a few of our older students would do well to remember that as well."

Dumbledore's eyes glance toward Fred and George.

"I have also been asked by Mr. Filch, the caretaker, to remind you all that no magic should be used between classes in the corridors. QUidditch trials will be held in the second week of the term. Anyone interested in playing for their house teams should contact Madam Hooch.

"And finally, I must tell you that this year, the third-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a very painful death."

A few people laugh, but you aren't one of them, distracted by the alert popping up.

[Quest alert:] Solve the mystery of the 3rd floor corridor
Completion reward: 400xp, next quest in the chain
Failure reward: 40xp, potential injury or death

And then after the school song, the singing of which greatly offends your fairly recently acquired musical skills, you're lead off toward the Gryffindor tower, only briefly stopped by a funny little man... Ghost... Thing apparently called Peeves.

After you're lead into the tower and informed about where your bed is, you...

Even if we don't decide to investigate the corridor specifically for the quest the chance to end up solving the mystery anyway is pretty good.

The Gryffindor title is nice:
Bonus to combat and immunity to fear(Second part is already part of Gamer's Mind)

Severus has moved to Unfriendly due to Gryffindor, but only slightly so. I'm surprised he isn't happy that we caught the man who actually betrayed our mother to the Dark Lord, though, unless Dumbledore hasn't told him...

Draco on the other hand is Neutral, so we're ok there. No inherent hateful rivalry! Yay!

Seems good to me.

I'd read a fic with that as the main premise.

"I wondered weather I'd be meeting you here, Potter."

You palm your wand, slipping it out of the sleeve of your yellow and black robes as you stammer out, "But I thought - Snape-"

"Severus?" Quirrell laughs, a cold and sharp sound. "Yes, Severus does seem the type, doesn't h-"

"INCENDIO!"

Dodging to the side Quirrell looks at you, a bit miffed. "What was that for! I was trying to-"

"FIREBALL!"

"Potter! Stop that at-"

"BURNING HANDS!"

Quirrell dodges again, but this time not quite quick enough, the purple turban atop his head catching on fire, prompting the man to reach up and take it off, tossing it to the ground, revealing a terrible face; chalk white with glaring red eyes and slits for nostrils, like a snake.

"Harry Potter. See what I have become? Mere shadow and va-"

"FLAME STRIKE!"

"Damn it, Potter! I'm trying to mono-"

"Meteor Swarm!"

Dumbledore hasn't yet. He only got back to the castle shortly before the sorting started. No time.

In reference to what? Our relation to Draco? If so, we are a good couple steps ahead of what it was canonically.
Confused teen whom is unsure whether he hates Harry or has a homosexual attraction to him? Desperately trying to prove himself straight? Or did I read too much into the subtext of the books bringing up things that were unintended by Rowling?

@Halpo133 How much mana does Detect Evil cost? Because it's a spell we might want to have on constently, and wondering how feasible that is (especially since it would be grinding faith

Edit: Wait, no, it would be grinding Defense. Huh. Really seems like it should be faith. Oh well.).
