[X] Good for them, they beat the system.
[X] Take it to the police in case anyone ever reports it.
[X] Laugh along with the crowd. You love a good joke even if it's at your expense.
[X] Let him yell, it doesn't matter anyway, you're not listening.
[X] Ask them what's wrong with the car. Maybe you can talk them through how to fix it.
[X] Tell him you didn't take the toy and direct him to someone who can help him find it.
[X] Refuse to give them your money, but still try and nurse the mother back to health.
[X] Maybe I'll just take a peek inside for a little while. What could it hurt?
[X] Give him a nice fist in the face. Nobody steals from you.
[X] Put it all into a savings account and spend it wisely as needs present themselves.
[X] I'll put some time into it. I'm sure I could solve it eventually.
[X] I'd save her even if she was still a bad person because I know she is innocent this time.
[X] Ravenclaw

It also makes it so we might get access to the Sword of Godric Gryffindor at some point,
Does the hat only give it to Gryffindor students? I thought it might give it to whoever needed (true desperate need, like, if I don't have it now I will be eaten by a Basilisk). And when it's not drawn from teh hat, isn't it sitting pretty in Dumbledore's office?
I don't see how being in Gryffindor heightens our chance of getting it.

Based on the wiki and what I remember only a worthy Gryffindor can pull it out of the hat. The hat was also a relic of Godric Gryffindor, so it might not be surprising he would make the hat only give swords to those sorted into his House.

Are there any inbuilt "house-only" magics in the relics I wonder. So for example, after we find that Ravenclaw head-thingie (and banish the horcrux), can we still wear it even as a gryffindor?

I don't think there's any such restrictions on those artifacts. Hell, there isn't such a restriction on the sword - anyone should be able to use it. It's the pulling it from the hat that's house specific.

1.) You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice.
[X] Good for them, they beat the system.

2.) While walking down the street you see a wallet on the side of the road. It has a small amount of money in it, but no identification of any kind. There is nobody in sight.
[X]Leave it there. Someone is probably looking for it.

3.) Someone has played a prank on you which involves your public embarrassment and everyone begins laughing at you. However, you doubt they meant any harm by it.
[X ] That jerk! You get mad right away and tell it to their face.

4.) You have arrived late to work because you had a flat tire. You've been on time every other day for the past month, yet your boss yells at you about it in front of all your coworkers.
[ ] Explain to him that accidents happen and that you don't feel you need to be yelled at because of it.

5.) You have just returned home from a long day's work when a friend calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back.
[X] Yes, I'm tired, but what are friends for?

6.) A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off.
[X] Try to rationalize with the kid. Tell him you didn't take the toy and refuse to fight him even if he takes a few swings at you.

7.) You have saved up for months to buy a new bike. As you're getting ready to buy it, a child runs by and steals your money. You chase him down and find that his mother is deathly ill and the child stole the money to buy her medicine.
[X] Maybe I'll let them keep some of the money and buy the bike later.

8.) A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out.
[X] Obviously there is some dangerous stuff in there, and we shouldn't be going inside.

9.) A very strong man approaches you while you're eating lunch and demands that you give him some food. He doesn't appear to be starving or poor. There is nobody there to stop him from taking it.
[X] Give him some food and leave. But you're going to tell on him later.

10.) You have inherited a large sum of money from your great aunt.
[X] Invest it into the market. You'll soon have even more!

11.) You are given a small plastic puzzle that looks to be difficult to solve.
[X] I'll try it out, but if I can't solve it, it's not the end of the world.

12.) Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent.
[X] I'll save her because I know she's a better person now.

13.) You would rather end up in:

[X] Maybe I'll let them keep some of the money and buy the bike later.

[X] Maybe I'll just take a peek inside for a little while. What could it hurt?

[X] Give him half your food and invite him to sit and talk with you, maybe you can befriend him.

[X] Invest it into the market. You'll soon have even more!

[X] I'll try it out, but if I can't solve it, it's not the end of the world.

[X] Ask to share the cheat-sheet. This test isn't fair, so why should you be?
[X]Leave it there. Someone is probably looking for it.
[X] On the outside you'll laugh because you don't want anyone to know that they really hurt your feelings by making you look stupid in front of everybody.
[X] Explain to him that accidents happen and that you don't feel you need to be yelled at because of it.

[X] Give him some food and leave quickly. You don't want any trouble from a jerk like that.
[X] Invest it into the market. You'll soon have even more!
[X] I'll try it out, but if I can't solve it, it's not the end of the world.
[X] I'm not saying a thing. This is the punishment that she never got five years ago.
[X] Ravenclaw

Edit: Heh, results were R - 12, G - 11, H - 10 and S - 10. Apparently, I am good fit for all the Houses and last choice has truly important role.

Prefer to stick to people we're already sort of close to.

[X] Good for them, they beat the system.

Gamer logic. Perfectly sound.

[X]Take the wallet, and go around the area asking anyone if they have lost a wallet recently.

Find wallet, get quest, complete quest, get xp.
We've done this at least once I bet.

[X] Pretend that all is well, but you won't forget this. They're going to pay for what they did! How dare they publicly humiliate you.

Gamer's Mind!

[X] Explain to him that accidents happen and that you don't feel you need to be yelled at because of it.

Gamer's Mind!

[X]Ask them what's wrong with the car. Maybe you can talk them through how to fix it.

Logical solution, and doesn't leave your friend up shit creek.

[X] Explain to him you didn't take the toy and offer to personally help find the person who did.

Quest!

[X] Refuse to give them your money, but still try and nurse the mother back to health.

Skill training and quest!

Quest ho!

[X] Give him half your food and invite him to sit and talk with you, maybe you can befriend him.

Its how we worked so far.

[The Sorting Quiz, v1.0]

"Here we go, just speak your answers. And don't worry about being heard, I'm keeping the sounds silent."

[X]Pocket the money. You don't know who it belongs to, so finder's keepers.

3.) Someone has played a prank on you which involves your public embarrassment and everyone begins laughing at you. However, you doubt they meant any harm by it.
[X] Laugh along with the crowd. You love a good joke even if it's at your expense.

4.) You have arrived late to work because you had a flat tire. You've been on time every other day for the past month, yet your boss yells at you about it in front of all your coworkers.

[X] Yes, I'm tired, but what are friends for?
i only charge family gass money because they are stuck with me and cant run away
6.) A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off.
[X] Tell him you didn't take the toy and direct him to someone who can help him find it.

7.) You have saved up for months to buy a new bike. As you're getting ready to buy it, a child runs by and steals your money. You chase him down and find that his mother is deathly ill and the child stole the money to buy her medicine.
[X] They are obviously in need of the money more than I. I give it all to them.

8.) A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out.

10.) You have inherited a large sum of money from your great aunt.
[X] Buy a few things right away. Maybe a new car, a boat, a house, etc. The rest I'll put away for a rainy day.

11.) You are given a small plastic puzzle that looks to be difficult to solve.
[X] I'll try it out, but if I can't solve it, it's not the end of the world.

Although i would be pissed off about it since she hasn't apologised for that time, id still eat crow for the sake of justice
13.) You would rather end up in:
[X] Gryffindor

Rifts (1990)
Men of Magic. These are the Ley Line Walker with special abilities when on Ley Lines and normal magic spell casting, the Shifter who is taught their magic by an external supernatural creature and specialize in travel magic, the Mystic who is instinctive and self-taught and half psychic, the Techno-Wizard who can install magical properties into technological devices
Rifts, that old system choke-full of OP as fuck things? Nice.

Well, MEGADAMAGE!!!! is unlikely to carry over, in which case it's merely an unusual magic system with a few interesting tricks and good protective spells instead of levelling buildings with basic spells.

Perhaps the most valuable part of it would be the Ley Line Walker's abilities to quickly draw MP from ley lines, if they can be learnt.

If we can learn technological crafting skills then it gets a bit crazy with RIFTS... but that's a whole new layer of added complexity, and kinda messes with the theme of being a wizard, so I didn't consider it.

Prefer to stick to people we're already sort of close to.

[X] Good for them, they beat the system.

Gamer logic. Perfectly sound.
Not your problem. No need to get involved.

[X]Take the wallet, and go around the area asking anyone if they have lost a wallet recently.

Find wallet, get quest, complete quest, get xp.
We've done this at least once I bet.
Watch for any lies (Perception should help). Without an ID to help, if the owner isn't there (after it fell from their pockets just a minute ago) just keep the wallet. Some leather and pocket change won't be particularly missed, and waste-not want-not.

[X] Pretend that all is well, but you won't forget this. They're going to pay for what they did! How dare they publicly humiliate you.

Gamer's Mind!
Prank them back! Turnabout is fair play.

[X] Explain to him that accidents happen and that you don't feel you need to be yelled at because of it.

Gamer's Mind! Otherwise (if he doesn't give a slag that your car got stuck in a fissure or something, being likely intentionally spiteful), just tune him out and remember this about his character to keep in mind.

[X]Ask them what's wrong with the car. Maybe you can talk them through how to fix it.

Logical solution, and doesn't leave your friend up shit creek. Drive them but make them pay for gas, if this doesn't help.

[X] Explain to him you didn't take the toy and offer to personally help find the person who did.

Quest! Valid because of Gamer ability. Otherwise it would depend on the kid and the reactions. Why help some spiteful brat like Dudley? He'll abuse that kind of behavior. Proving your innocence publicly and exposing the kid as someone who cries wolf though? Flak yes.

[X] Refuse to give them your money, but still try and nurse the mother back to health.

Skill training and quest! How do you know they're telling the truth rather than pulling a scam? Call their bluff and then help how you can if they are truthful. (Use money to help nurse back to health if you need to).

[X] Danger shmanger! There's probably some cool stuff inside. Let's see what all the fuss is about.

Quest ho!

[X] Give him half your food and invite him to sit and talk with you, maybe you can befriend him.

Its how we worked so far. Try to diffuse the situation, but be wary of spiteful behavior. (Hopefully you have some thorns on you, if you need them).
[X] Invest it into the market. You'll soon have even more!

Dosh expansion Engine. Made more likely by the Gamer system due to Skill grinding. We're quick learners, and this way the money might serve us well for a long time.

[X]I won't give up until I solve it. Then, maybe I'll try it blindfolded!

Skill grinding!

[X] I'll save her because I know she's a better person now.

Quest! If she's still a bitch, she will have to pay us back what she stole before we help. This doesn't apply if she can't afford it, in which we help out of pity. It does apply if she's too stuck-up on her own pride to admit a wrong and make amends (or reliably point to a different culprit, assuming there is one), in which case we leave knowing she deserves what she gets.

@Halpo133 - I just noticed we used Stupefy of Peter but we don't have it in our list of spells. You may want to add it. (presumably just say Moody taught us)

I'll edit in a minute with who you rode a boat with and the quiz results for house.

Edit: Okay! In depth results

Gryffindor - 15
Ravenclaw - 13
Hufflepuff - 12
Slytherin - 8

House voted for: Gryffindor. House you're in, Gryffindor.

Boat ride with Hermione, Neville, and Susan.

So...just as a thought, we might want to use Observe on all the teachers up at the High Table.

You know, just to get some info about who they are and what subject they teach.

There is absolutely no way I'm espousing this tactic for an underhanded reason.

It's not like Quirrel has anyone else sharing his head with him that might show up on his observe info, after all. We just want to match subjects with names and faces, get ready for our classes and all that. Important stuff, not uncover any hideous nose-less conspiracies.

The GM has stated that at our level all we'll see is Quirrell's info. If we try to observe his turban it'll just tell us it's a turban.

Detect Evil will be more useful here.

And use Detect Evil while we're at it. Because you never know when an evil rat animagus is in the same room!

That spell is going to become ridiculous quickly.

Don't forget, in casual use it is a quick and dirty method for reading people that shows different from Observe(Mage Sight). To put it in familiar terms, it is fast and precise Sneakoscope that points out suspicious people even when they're not acting suspicious. The only thing it lacks is autonomy.

Harry really put it best on the train.

@Enjou: Wouldn't Mage Sight reveal the Black Magic around Quirrel?

And on that note,
[x]Use Observe(Mage Sight) and Detect Evil during the feast. There is no better time; everyone is in one place.

^If possible.
