Yeah, i think The Gamer fics are my favorites. There's quite a lot of other fics i love too, but most Gamer fics are high up there on the list.

I think i would prefer The Gamer's Body, rather than the mind. It's the body that allows you to train up your stats and all that. Plus, you'll never be sick for long and bodily harm is an irrelevant thing.

I know all the ones from SB and SV. what the good ones from FF?

Well, ideally I'd like to have both. But Gamer's Mind, the capacity to rationally analyze and react to any situation without the usual negative emotions holding you back, would be WAY more useful to me in real life. By far.
Obviously this is Narrow Framing, since I'm thinking of it applied to my current life, rather than to the different path I could take if I did have superpowers, but still.

Ramen Days is the first one to come to mind. I really loved it, pity for it being abandoned.
There were others, but I have to go hunt for them.

Oh. Well in that case I'd suggest just starting The Power Thread 2 and continuing on from where they left off. I personally would settle for just Observe that I can level it up and the status screen even if I couldn't level up or grind at the same effectiveness. Knowledge is power.

I personally would love to know any good ones that are still updating or completed. Nothing I hate more than abandoned ones. In-Progress I guess isn't so bad, though I prefer em to complete.

I love the unique game mechanics in this fic. The Gamer ability changes to accommodate what you have become. Like if you become a ruler of a place, you get Grand Strategy mechanics. Recently unlocked the City-builder mechanics and the Gamer market where you can exchange skill and XP points for money or goods.

Ah intersesting! I kinda went thru the previous list and removed everything below 20k immediately, and was left with very little. And most of that went down the drain after skimming.

Now this 100k+ story is something I can sink my teeth into. Anything smaller that and it usually doesn't even show up past my story search filters.

You also made it sound interesting, though that is an odd removal from his world. Still Thank You!

I just finished Ramen Days. It was fun. shame it went into permanent hiatus instead of finishing

Seems that Re:Gamer has a precursor story to it: The Gamer of Konoha
Seems that after a certain event in Game of Konoha it splits to Re:Gamer. I guess it isn't necessary to read to understand, but hey more to read, am I right!?

Too bad the original story Gamer of Konoha is on Hiatus I guess while the current Re:Gamer bug hits him I guess heh. Still FYI

Yeah probably not. Still it's is a nice FYI, and more to read. I skimmed the first chapter and it seemed cool. It is shorter though by quite a large degree. 183k vs 290k.

Just will be interesting to read about Naruto in Narutoverse. Naruto in Re:Monster is a bit odd but it will be fun probably as well. That trait choice in the first chapter seems it's going to quickly make him OC though.

We shall see. ^_^

Well, I made it to ch61 so far. There is more to go. But he is starting to really get vlad the impaler-ish which is starting to come off as bad sue ish. Its being "justified" by the traits he picked/took modifying his mind. But still it rather bothers me...
Also, he keeps walking into ambushes for the drama. when he explicitly has a skill that would make it impossible and he just keeps forgetting to use that skill when he is explicitly going to engage a superior force that he knows is expecting him in guerilla warfare. despite supposedly having the genius trait and very high wisdom and int.
