-[X] Neville and Hermione in the Common Room
--[X] Quietly use up all remaining MP to practice spells just before going to bed. They will go to waste otherwise. Practice D&D spells since they proved usefull earlier.
Which, I imagine, is also why the quest to get Peter questioned hasn't finished - they haven't done it yet. Likely by the end of day tomorrow, though. It'd be odd for them to delay it.
They damn well better not let Pettigrew escape. Also a lost opportunity to use Detect Evil on Quirrell. Ohwell, hopefully we can use it later. Heck, perhaps we can do it subtly later in each class for each teacher. Though it does occur to me that it might not work on Quirrell by the time we get a chance. I mean while its a pretty OCP spell, Voldemort might still have something to counter it, and thanks to Pettigrews capture he knows about it. Can he separate himself from Quirrell for brief periods I wonder?
We should also probably use it on Snape to see if the dark mark shows up (and ofcourse whether Snape is considered evil by GM). Being able to detect the mark specifically however would be rather usefull. Would allow us to easily identify former high ranking Death Eaters if the mark somehow specifically shows.
--[] See if they want to start a study group together...we know some unique tricks, Hermione's a talented academic, and Neville has lots of practical experience...and, more importantly, we're all motivated to actually learn magic, not just play around all day.
I'm not fully caught up yet, so I'm not sure if we've already brought this kind of thing up. I'm also not sure if additional write-in components like this are allowed.
Let me know if either is an issue.
Since Harry basically studies by eating books and grinding, any study group would basically require us to tell both of them about the Gamer ability. Dunno if its time yet to do so? Perhaps we should wait until the relationships go above 150? What do others think?
No trying to get the suck-up cup please, there's no benefit beyond the XP, which isn't that much anyway.
"beyond the XP"? Blasphemy! XP is everything! Sweet precious XP!

Finally, I wonder if we should consider trying to come up with ways to level up the class quests?
Thief 1: Steal 10 items, pick 10 locks, or any combination of the two
What qualifies as stealing? Could we make it a game of somekind perhaps? Or steal something thats basically so worthless that no one will miss it. We can steal 10 socks from our housemates and blame Dumbledore! Also what about locks. Can we grind by picking the same lock 10 times? I dunno if there are enough normal locks for us to pick (unless magical unlocking applies).
Mage 3: Gain 20 levels in a magic type using any D&D mage spell, or defeat 1 boss type enemy with only D&D spells
Assuming that things follow canon, Quirrell might release the troll again. That might qualify as a boss? If not, its grinding time I guess.
Cleric 2: Gain 20 levels in Faith
How do we gain faith anyway?
Paladin 5: Be named a Champion or Protector(Can be named such by any source; Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, the Queen, etc.)
No idea how we would manage this?
Bard 1: Entertain a group of 10 with your music
We could practice our flute and try to play to the others in Gryffindor? Skill is so low that we probably need to grind it a bit.
Druid 1: Gain 10 levels in woodlore.
We could visit Hagrid when we have a chance and ask him to show us around maybe? Heck, we could try and talk about Fluffy (if we have learned of it by then).
Fighter 1: Gain 10 levels in any type of weapon, discounting unarmed.
Eh, we could find a sword somewhere so we are ready if we get the sword from the hat. Dunno how to justify IC though. Also not sure what other weapon would even be worth it?
