Oh god rowling you are such a hack. Of course it has value and worth. just not as much, but since it costs literally nothing it can be extremely useful.

Write will let us put our spells into scrolls that will let us teach others, I believe. D&D spells are currently restricted to us, but with Write we can teach them to others, or at least those who join our party, as they'll count as skill books I think.

Write also takes time. (an hour per spell scroll IIRC)
