True, but most chaos artifacts only give a +20 to corrupting. +40 if they are high-end, and legendary chaos artifacts would give a +80. Chaos Gods themselves give a +200.

Fair, also damn Chaos Gods.

Right? All we do now is invade (near) daemon worlds so that really isn't helpful lol, and even if we don't get corrupted the only solace is that at least we will die fighting, slaughtered to the last man.

To be fair, we'll be rectifying the issue when we get bonuses and stuff trained up against the Daemons from you know, fighting them.

As I said, I have an omake that should hopefully give us a bonus to fighting daemons, it works off a theory between banishment runes and the Armor of Remembrance and Sword of the Lost, only applied to our Space Marines, but I'll type that up tomorrow.

Those rolls basically meant Lorgar caused a resurgence of the Orks in Lave V after he threw a temper tantrum over Valhalla developing a religion. This resulted in the Dark Angels and Salamders diverting to Lave V to crush a WAAGH that formed up under another really competent warboss. So it could have been your problem, but then SleepMode saved you with a pair of 97s.
Okay we're going to have a talk with him after this. And thanks to our shitty new job he can't complain. Not only did Lorgar fail to uphold his end of the deal (since he managed to make the situation worse and require the aid of Lion and Vulkan) but he also called us in as part of the favor he owed and made us leave when we offered to finish the job.

@Daemon Hunter

what do you think of the new soundtrack

I'm listening to it right now. I honestly think I'll threadmark it because it's so good. I especially like the Imperial Guard Symphony.

Regardless of if I think we could get away with doing the same thing without punishment, surely at least the Dark Angels and Salamanders will dislike him/his legion now right?

Oh Lion is pissed and Vulkan doesn't know the full story. Depending on how the bloody it is for the two, things might happen.

I don't know about you man but to me at least there is something wrong with the system if it requires omakes to even function so that every roll/event doesn't end in failure and death (and even then so far that really hasn't been enough).

A lot of it has been really shit luck. The chain for Gehenna was ridiculously unlikely as was the chain for the Emperor to give this job, as was what happenned on Lave with Lorgar. I will admit that I am still working on the system, but so far I think it is functional.

@Daemon Hunter What's the mechanical effect of pentagrammic runic integration? Is it just a gating tech?

It leads to a second pentagrammic tech which leads to creating runic networks accross your ships. Basically runes that effect entire battleships.

We don't need omakes to function. We just need to not roll terrible while the enemy rolls well. Gehenna station was only as bad as it was because they rolled high and we rolled low. And even then, we lost half our legion taking an enemy that had DAoT tech and Khorne corruption. Quite frankly, we did well all things considered. It was just a hard mode area.

His root pissedoffness is we're heresy to his Cult of Emperor

We gotta roll high, or Lorgar's downright unreasonable at this point

Best case scenario, we don't favor one another. But conversations will be quick and professional.

I like how Lorgar has basically turned into a whiny child in this quest. Promises to deal with Lave in exchange for favors, calls in a favor to deal with it. Gets pissed that he agreed to this deal. Then after the Warboss is killed he decides he doesn't need any help. Then he fails against Orks with no warboss. Then he hears about people coming up with an idealogy that says the Emperor is not a god which drives his blood pressure up, so he leaves the Orks. Said Orks promptly unite under a Warboss and start a Waagh, only stopped by the Dark Angels and Salamanders.

I have a feeling that dices are making this realistic, Lorgar is a brat, Emperor is asshole ( misunderstood shut in).

We all need to thank dice gods for this.

On the one hand he won't have as much influence with he other primarchs, but on the other Logar is somewhat more likely to fall from being very unhappy.

[x] Rock and roll is rediscovered

This more or less absorbs the second option into it and I can omake the Wardens finding these music storage device during the crusade.

I really feel like we should talk to Konrad. His visions may be able to help us avoid the faeces-covered dumpster fire that is the near future. And if the Relationship Tracker is accurate, he'll like us enough to help

What the hell happened? Just woke up. How bad is it?

I like how the rolls in this quest have gotten to the point where the moment people wake up they see the rolls and just ask how bad it is.

In summary, not horrible for you. Lorgar basically threw a temper tantrum after Valhalla's religion claimed the Emperor was an enlightenned human so he left Lave V which let the Orks unify into a Waagh. The Dark Angels and Salamanders went to deal with it, and Lorgar is demanding a meeting next year.
