Are you sure this is necessary? I know the ritual is an important subject, but I think that using the free GD for a +20 bonus is generally best for subjects with super-big maluses where it can mean the difference between failure and success, rather than different degrees of success. Devoting the free GD to a separate look at the same thing rather than burning it for a boost here would work better, in my opinion.
Could always check on Sanguinius @Nurgle if there's any time to nab him it's while all of chaos is busy with the ritual.

Side note we really need to use a divination action for the Admech Civil war next freaking turn since the sooner we do that the more time we have to prepare for it.

Now is not a good time for Rids doing longer research projects. We need lots and lots of divination, and this is going to make us lose a GD next turn. Even though we're out of GDs here, couldn't we do a FD on something, or research something that takes less time like look at the BC bracers or one of the Warp echoes?
I am tripling on the Chaos Ritual since I am expecting at least minus 125 on doing the chaos ritual. Since minus 125 was the highest we have seen from a chaos source so far. But something involving all of chaos will be protected.

Primal is a 5 year project leaving him open to do a Greater divination next turn.

I agree with Wombat, let Calamus design warlords. Can we do a simple tech fundamental now? Have we done Fundamentals: AM Production yet? Or fortifications? Hives? I fancy using this downtime to solidify our industrial and core tech.

Definitely want to divine the admech civil war as soon as possible.

Can we put the free div on something related to the chaos ritual- maybe divine the silent kings reaction to finding out about it, and see if getting him onboard is a good idea. Freddie does have a diplomacy bonus with necrons after all.

I'd much rather do Fundamentals Titan building than production to be honest. Faster production lines of titans is a big deal for the human polities.

Silent king is busy killing tryanids and may not know about the chaos ritual. Let me ask Durin if the Eldar told the Necrons.

Ok so what I am getting is people do not want to do research and just do a focus divination on the admech conservatives . Cries at the lack of Ridicully research.

... yes, but we never built one like this before, so the bonus still applies.
no it doesn't apply. we have built the EM/RM temples before they were a single +10 that is it no upgrade to size or multiple temples will change that it was only ever a +10 Durin has made that clear several times when people have said the same thing you have before.

I definitely want to get the Laws of the Warp finally done, just... we need to get this civil war taken care of first. Once we do that, we can do some serious changes.

Should we throw some Ridcully time at divining the Alpha Legion? They may have used up much of their assets, but they could be trying to get back in. Not to mention I would hate for them to do something like set off the Admech Civil War or something if they manage to sneak in during the DN merge.

I really hope that this dark future where most worlds are closer to chaos would help us by giving time with the civil war of the mars priests. Because there Heresy and HERESY and there is
01101000 01100101 01110010 01100101 01110011 01111001 00100001
which is how I imagine one mars priest showing how angry he is about the matter (at last if english to binary is to be believed). So many innocent holy tech being corrupted is certainly a matter which would make them angry.
edit: grammar.

Only 2, max. We need as many as possible, and the cap is at 3. So it makes us lose one.

And I still am not convinced the ritual is at least a -125. It was a -75 this time.
That is because it was a cursory glance. The first time we divined vect it was -75 than when we did his contract it was -125. The more important it is the higher the malus.

Personally I feel the basic details of the ritual will be easy to divine since it's going to be known about enough that random demon princes are going to be scrambling to get replacements so they don't get sacrificed

We already know the basic details, that's what we got from the last divination. The upcoming divination roll is for specific details.

Risk and reward are a thing here. And more information allows us to make better decisions. With the Grand Cathedral being finished during next turn that is a drop of unrest for the admech so we gain a little more time to deal with the Civil war.
