this is the opposite of informative, can I give this post -1 "informative" ratings?
What, you don't know about the swim stat? It's right here:

M: 14 + 17 =31 (+550 martial bonus)- Jane is a gifted commander of small units, and can command larger forces with a level of skill usually associated with generals if necessary.
I: 15 +25= 40- Jane is a master of intrigue in all of its forms, whether it is overseeing or detecting system wide spynets or sneaking past sentries.
A: 16+4=20- Jane is a competent administrator, able to handle her administrative responsibilities without causing any problems.
S: 8+6=14 (+42 swim bonus)- Jane can do backstroke.
L: 12 +4 = 16- Jane has a very good education within her interests but does not have the broad education that you or many other Avernites have gained.
P: 13 +24= 37- Jane's faith is rock hard and certain, and she is unlikely to lose it though it would be possible.
D: 7 + 5 = 12- Jane prefers to talk with her blades or though intermediaries rather then engage in diplomatic talk that she has neither the skills or the patience for.
C: 18 + 41= 59(+1,490 combat bonus)- Jane is a force of nature on the battlefield, able to cut her way though even elite units and champions without slowing down and with an uncanny ability to dodge and deflect incoming attacks.

Imagine not knowing about the swim stat, smh.

noo....

its spreading......

this is so frustrating!
why,... I,....I think I will!

I don't care if I will get banned for it!
I hope the keyboards you two are using disappear!

gasp!
You're damn right this is frustrating. Do you know how many times I've had to explain what swim does?
Too many times!

It's just baffling to me that you don't know about the swim stat! It's been key to our plans so many times. How can you not remember when Areatha soundly defeated Turoq in the 500 metres freestyle on hvergelmir?

OK, so.

FIRST OFF! the Hvergelmir doesn't exist!, and even if it did, why would it be the 500 meter freestyle? everyone knows that Hvergelmir doesn't HAVE a 500 meter span in it.

Second off, Areatha beat him in a dance off, there was no swimming involved!

@Doomedwombat I have a general structure in my head and several key scenes but the art of writing words I like enough not to delete straight away eludes me at the moment.

Also, yeah, Swim stat. That's really important for us. How else do you think He Who Walks Obliquely gets through the warp so fast- swim of 71!

Abadons dirty secret is he only has swim: 2- he can just about doggy paddle in the dead sea but anything else leaves him floundering.

Leman Russ and Kaldor Draigo are both probably swim trancendents, as is that random space wolf who showed up.

Is he coming to Hvelgelmir?

I told you guys! Hvelgelmir doesn't exist in wh40k OR in embers-verse....

well, I mean,

did somebody omake it into existence when I wasn't looking? you guys are always doing that.

Well, yeah. You need a swim of at least 100 or you add to the souls already there!
This reminds me- when are we going to experiment with Black Crystal Kickboard? Being able to swim through Sea of Souls regardless of native Swim stat is pretty damn OP, after all.
Research: Black Crystal Items (Kickboard): After a few years study High Grandmaster Ridcully was able to gather some more information about the Black Crystal Kickboard that you wield. He tells you that the Kickboard is far more powerful then the rest of the Black Crystal Jewellery, and was made for a different purpose. While Ridcully was not able to gain exactly what the purpose was the titles for the kickboard that he was able to divine. These titles of 'Swimmer', 'Butterfly', 'The Final Lap', 'The End of All Pools', 'The One True Backstroke' and 'Phelps' seem to indicate that the kickboard was made to swim through the unswimmable, most likely the Warp, Primordial Sea or even both. Ridcully was also able to gather that you are currently not using the Black Crystal Kickboard to its full potential, though he does not know just how to access said potential.
We got plenty of info already, but there's this "Phelps" that we haven't bothered spending divinations to find.
Probably a transcendent swimmer like Russ? Wonder if we could ask Areatha if she heard of him, once she's back.

For that matter, we might just want to research what frequencies make the largest waves for us to ride in the Warp. You know, on our psychic surfboard.

if this goes to far.... durin is going to drop a nod to all of this sillyness in actual canon. *shudder*

I mean, this is now a full page of comments on the topic of swimming and..... *sigh*

even worse, he might roll to make something here ACTUALLY canon.

I'm not even sure If I would laugh or cry at that.

oh, and I STILL have not gotten a actual answer yet!

Why would he roll for it if its already a built in part of the system? I mean for goodness sakes Swimming is the one other stat other then martial that Rotbart is better at then Areatha in.

Yes, quite a few were made cannon. They're all the worlds we took from the ork's, people wanted to flesh them out.
so it was....huh..

but it got canoned as a planet.

it is REALLY odd that it has a "light" core but has lots of metal....also, I don't think it could sustain life if its gravity is THAT light.

sso.....pretty sure its not actually a natural planet....but thats not abnormal in wh40k I guess.

@Dragon_352 you do know that Hvergelmir is where Rotbart is fighting the Tyranids, right? Had a whole vote about it? Gonna beat them 'nids with a sick twisty foley (I do not surf).
