I wonder who is commanding the fleets we have deployed- one will be Freddie, one will be Julius, one will be the Autarch and one will probably be Freyr. That's 4/8, but I imagine Syr will be leading another.

Who is leading the other fleets?

Jacob: Good generally in call categories and is family, but I think sending someone who can blend everyone in the room into a fine red mist as our rep might be taken the wrong way.
Sigismund: Gesture of trust and shows connection to Asgard, will be taken badly by some people and he ain't exactly a native.
Syr: Likely very busy
Jane: Too busy bad diplo
Tormod: Dunno traits, luck might get in the way and very young.

@Durin
1. Any characters aside from the obvious, Lin psykers, Mittens etc. are unavailable for going to the meeting like Syr?

2. And would sending Jacob in our stead be seen as a bit...threatening?
3. By any chance are the Eldar guarding Lin couples?
4. How twitchy are they getting seeing as they're body guarding someone in one of the most dangerous places in the galaxy?
1. Klovis
2. No, they are used to combat monsters
3. Ridcully and mostly no.
4. Pretty but no more then any Avernite bodyguard. His immunity to poison helps

Sigismund: Gesture of trust and shows connection to Asgard, will be taken badly by some people and he ain't exactly a native.
None of the major leaders are "natives" all were born elsewhere. Sigmund was a half century Avernite when he married Syr and is coming up on a full Century soon. He is as much of a native as any other at this point. But sending Rosalina is probably the best choice.

As for his rank, we could just promote him to Champion of Averneus.

He is the Champion of Avernus. He got promoted to it a little while ago. Also Jacob is one of the best diplomatic characters we have. And one of the best commanders as well.

Most of them have been here since the day Avernus was founded, Sigmund kinda hasn't.

He's certainly not as bad as a different husbando could be, but not yet.

General Richards continues to push herself to the brink of overwork due to the current expansion of her forces, and effort not made easier by Marshal Donovan's recent death to a rogue Siren.
Ouch. Also, we should give her a free year. Somehow.

Makes sense, but we really need to implement some techs. Harvester still seems pretty much perfect against these Tyranids.

Avernite Boarder (+5C, +25 to boarding actions)- Admiral Sarnow has been involved in dozens of boarding actions in his time in the Avernite Navy, both on the defensive and on the offensive. Additionally he has put himself though the brutal training regimes of his Void Infantry, who aim to remain just as deadly as other Avernite regulars.
Nice! We should give these guys PAs, power concentration is king during boarding actions. It's why SMs are so good at them.

Spoiler: Helheim Void Command One Locked Choose Two
Two Three years
Well, one of those actions is repair, but the other...

There is the Cloaking tech to implement.

He does however mention that currently almost every region in Avernus is starting to approach its population limit
We just build a bunch of hives in Tarascon...

Lizardmen Diplomacy (Side)
Buy from the Saurus side first. The other side sells tamed Avernite creatures, which we can not bring against Tyranids.

Reward: Sirens from Azure Bay assist in Psyker Hunting, +30 to all rolls against alpha and above.
Yes! This was an excellent idea! Do this ASAP ofc.

Archmagos Biologis Maximal upgrades trait Psychic Master (+4L, -1P, +20 to all rolls when dealing with psychic creatures) into Psychic Geneticist (+6L, -1P, +50 to all rolls when dealing with psychic creatures)- In his time on Avernus Archmagos Biologis Maximal has developed a masters understanding of psychic animals. This understanding extends into the little understood field of Psyker Genetics, which is famed for its complexity.
Now this, this will be very useful! Good thing that we figured out the Psyrodactils, we really don't want to lose this one!

Ordinatus Design: Explorator
Shiny!

Gravatic Sensors- Archmagos Tranth recently determined that he could create significantly better Gravatic Sensors then you currently posses. While these sensors would not be particularly long ranged or precise, they would be very hard to fool.

Time: 5 years
Chance of Success: -110% (1% after bonuses)
Bad odds, but would be very useful against these Tyranids if Tranth can do it.

The Psychic Genes Part Two- Archmagos Biologis Maximal now has enough understanding of Psychic Genetics and information to further refine his studies into the genes of human Psykers. This will be a challenging project, even for him, and take over a decade but it should allow you to locate more Psykers before they go rogue.

Time: 15 years.
Chance of Success: -100% (72% after modifiers)

Cost: 400,000,000 Thrones, 790,000 Advanced Material, 8,900 Exotic Material, 10 Relic Material
Reward: Discover more psykers young, reduce chance of each psyker going rogue by 10% of current chance
Useful indeed. This will help massively with Alphas and such.

Regional Survey (Region) – Archmagos Biologis Maximal wishes to give each region a thorough survey to discover if there is any interesting flora or fauna that is so far undiscovered. He is willing to let you choose which region to begin with.
The List says that we have not done these yet for some reason: Lindon, Lindon Deepwood, Duat, Tarascon, Aridia (Redux)

Saint Lin gains trait Peacemaker (+3D, +10 to attempts to create peace treaties)- Though a combination of sheer charisma and well reasoned arguments Saint Lin was able to create a ceasefire in the longest running war that you have ever heard of.
Nice! Not Paragon, but very nice! And a greater chance of ending this war!

Give Peace a Try (Side)-
Saurus I say. The warrior caste led side sounds like the one more important to convince to give peace a try.

The Nature of (God or Pantheon)-
Reminder: Webway, Phoenix Avatars, Curses, Self, and more that I can't remember.

Runic Talismans- Recently Aria determined that the best way to make use of the Rune of Power is to create a handful of Talismans for each Psyker. These talismans would be charged by the psyker between battles and would be able to between them store a significant amount of power, which the psyker can draw on in emergencies. It would take a while for the Order of Warding to create enough talismans but it is certainly possible.

Time: 5 years
This would help our Psykers a lot in this war.

Being a native doesn't mean being there from the start. All it means is surviving on the Planet. Technically Syr isn't Avernite because she has spent the last few centuries away from the planet. Though that is our fault since we screwed up and sent her off to the Trust Fleet.

That's how the natives perceive things, but the trust doesn't look at things from the 6 tiered system.

Syr was born and raised on Avernus Sigismund's lived there, but he's asgardian by culture and heritage.

Alright, those Nid wins were nice. The Hive Fleet was expected to balloon by a lot, and instead it shrunk by almost 20%. Hopefully this will make their attack on Amir-Ka less effective as well, it would be nice if Chaos could eke out some wins without us holding their hands (that feels weird to say). Feels bad about the Blood Dragons though.

Alright, think we should have Lin aim for both Lizardmen diplomacy and healing Guilliman since both of those would give a chance at transcendence and thus two outright chances at it. Guilliman especially would be useful with the Destroyer war going on right now and the Lizardman getting peace could be a huge fuck you to chaos down the line. People should probably start on the omakes for those.

Besides that for Ridcully seems like we should spend at least one action looking at Khorne's new Avatar. Not go into his domain though, that would be insane considering that he is the one that god that heavily counters psykers. Still divining him could let us know when he is going to be potentially summoned or just let us learn more about what it is capable of.

So for the regular frequencies of the chaos gods the only ones left are The Changer of Ways and Choas Undivided. Unless Chaos Undivided is not a frequencies then we only have the one.

I would actually look at the Departmento Munitorum for choices. Richards is excluded due to stress.

In order:

Achilles (D22): A pretty good option all in all, except that arrogance might bite. You know that classic Avernite Arrogance image we already have.
Hofler (D23): Also a fairly good option if Achilles is out, although a Maverick, that reputation might not carry over to the Council.
Taneka (D17): A safe option. Master Strategist and Leader, generally standard otherwise.

Of course there is also Vlad (D38) , Jacob (D24) as particular wildcard options. Vlad in particular.

Lets send Vlad and watch the others wonder what the heck is going on.

The thing is that we will only get a shot at transcendent with the lizards if we get a crit, so we need to triple down these actions

Plus we can do as many diplomatic actions as we can to facilitate Lin´s wors, and fortunately, we can have Robart, doing a couple of them too

So are we going to make our General take a vacation? We have five years of action available so giving her a year or two off with the Ration Pills to fill in seems easy enough. The last thing we need is her burning out and giving us a malus trait.

She is extremely overworked I would use 2 years for now because after this we will have no time to give her a break and I want her as recovered as possible.
