Our population constraint is on the moon not on Avernus. We can still fit about 10 billion more people on Avernus and will be completing a hive next turn. If you really want to increase our deathworlder bonus we need to settle a region which building a hive in Tarascon will help with since we would settle the region faster.

Well in that case I'll build another hive in Tarascon then. I want to complete our colonization of the region so we can get it hooked to the rail network, which needs two more Hives. Shard's got this thing where he wants to get all the Large Cities built up to hives, which is understandable, but if we're not in a rush for population space on Avernus itself then finishing Tarascon takes priority for me.

if we have a population problem cant we start to colonization those new worlds we have Cleansed?
Than we run into the same problem we have in that we have to build hives or facilities for those people. Actually colonizing the other planets in system would cost us more since that is a new area we have to ship supplies and people to.

It's also just not a good time to try colonizing new worlds yet. We've got the logistics strain of a major campaign going on, and the Trust can't afford to try to defend new territory at this time.

Build Thundabeast Pens to contain up to 160,000 Thundabeasts, put them under the Knights protection, giving your Knights experience and reducing upkeep
Ok, question: has anyone else realised (and potentially already pointed) that this essentially turns these knights into shepherds, with their flocks consisting of (electrical?) DOOM sheep? Except instead of wolves, their fending off dragons?

Actually, no. I take that back. There are definitely going to be wolf-analogs capable of preying on our Thundabeasts. Even if their dragon-wolves. That can wear Thundabeast hides as a disguise. And have a form of memetic invisibility...

3192 Actually, I'll be quite now. Although we should invest in knight-scale crooks? For herding the thundabeasts? No?

the crooks could be made of metal and hang low enough to the ground that they can ground any electrical discharge.

also, I think I agree, there will definitely be wolf-analogs which are remarkably resistant to eletrical attacks which seem to be present explictly around our sheep *cough* I mean Thundabeasts

The Knights aren't doing the shepherding work, though. The Knights are basically acting like knights would back in medieval days - they're the ones that deal with the bandits and anything else that'd threaten the common folk.

@Enjou For a diplomacy action I suggest making a trade with Svartalfheim to get Jane a Chrono device/suit since she herself suggested it. She has a dangerous job and the device/suit would likely improve her survival odds and make her even more dangerous.

Also how about switching the last Munitorium action so that we can start training the militia against psykers? They are the ones that literally suffer around 100 million losses a turn consistently and seems like doing that action would lower losses significantly among the militia.

someone throw me a link to a wiki page of what those are? searching for "chrono suit" got me nothing.

It is not from the wiki. It is a piece of tech that was made in the quest. It allows the user to manipulate time in a fight. That is why it is so powerful for Jane who made a style designed to take down opponents with more powerful abilities. The style is all about creating the opening needed to kill the opponent the Crono suit would allow Jane to created that opening easier and more reliably.

@Angelform, underestimating Chaos is idiotic. If the Abomination sends a force at us, it'll be a force we should fear. Daemonic incursion in particular is a dangerous possibility, one that nearly cost us our seer on a 90+ roll, and that was with just an Honoured.

I agree, but remember that was Rid's worst match up. Anti psyker god and all.

If we managed to get HWWO to just take rids and lin to another planet right as they invade....:p
Abomination:

@Durin, how much time will the divination option to get the local Chaos polities to get more worried about the Shadow in the Warp take, and how much will it cost?

should we not divination on where Hive Fleet Grábakr 1 Dreadnought is?
If I were to guess, at the centre of the larges swarm of bugs.

But in all seriousness at the moment predicting where it's going to be specifically isn't required, since we're not certain of the Nid's capabilities at all.

We could try to ambush it and find that goes...poorly.

I think the point tho would be to know where it is so that we can make sure that we don't accidentlly ambush it before we are ready. IE: avoid it.
