Also for Lin can we not cleanse worlds anymore, we're getting shit ton of them from the Dnest so working on research till he dies is better.

Those planets are not ours. Those planets belong to their established groups already. And they are more towards the DN than they would us. We want to have as large of a population of our own in order to keep our powerbase. These worlds would also be colonized much faster than the last set of colonies.

The worlds we've been clearing are pretty close to our own worlds, which makes them more valuable to the trust. Though if I understand correctly, we've finished cleansing all the worlds to at least low levels of taint. Making it easy enough for Avernites or Niflheimers to settle there.

while still important things to keep in mind? yes, planets are valuable.

lin's researchs are worth more then 4 planets.

remember we will be able to give the researchs to our allys and will continue benifiting us for thousands if not tens of thousands of years.

also, the whole point of a merger is that we would still end up benifiting from it....those planets would still be producing resources that would go towards ships and solders that would wage war on our enemys.

which is better? 4000 years worth of planet production or 10,000 years of benefits from lin's unique actions for every single still-sane human policy in the galaxy?
(oh, and also the lore-stuff as well. who doesnt like durin's mini-omakes? who doesnt want to know more about the warp, gods and other such things?)

I honestly don't think securing a political base is worth wasting more potential Lin actions. It's really unlikely we'll get someone as good as Lin at research ever again so we shouldn't waste his slots on things other than that.

Starting Grand masters I may change this but we do need the help with Psykers as they get worse. Cleansing worlds becasue they will never be done if LIn does not do them and becasue of the Double Downs needed by other characters. Ridicully needs them for 1-2and #. I strongly disagree, one GD is likely worth a million or so lives....your dropping a million lives on the idle wondering of our PC.

oh, and moderate clensings in all three plans....imma wait and see what enjou does and probly just copy past someone minus the clensing.

We're gonna need more than one slot open to implement military tech. I'd recommend doing the implement actions for the Ordinatus, The Boar General combat vehicle and Ion Barrier projectors for slot 1 so we have two slots open for next turn.

Can not do ion projector because xenotech. Wish we could since it would increase defenses but ce la vi.
 
the last time the abomination took a swing at us, it hit us when we where distracted. A second shot at lin when we're busy is a moderately high risk in my opinion.
This kind of thing is literally one of the reasons we set up the order of Omens. If they are going to strike in the next decade or two they'd let us know. Not to mention that we are already gearing up for war against the Nids and if an abom crusade is sent it's going to be against Avernus and it's the place most ready for such a thing already anyway.

the omens has also even had a while to build up too. a full GD is complete overkill
 
A Divination to check for a Crusade only matters at this point if it being present or absent would change our choices. As we are already in build-up mode I don't see that as being likely.

For cleansing worlds, I would like people to consider holding off on that action and use it as fill—to allow us to line up the other actions and/or to allow us to more easily DD on actions we want to take. I agree that it is a worthwhile action, bu we have a decent amount of time to do it in.

I'd like to push the Nyne trade back at least to year two just to ensure we've got the Queen intact for all of Ridcully's Divination. We aren't planning on using the poison this wave anyway, so it doesn't make sense to push for fast completion.

ohhh. and thats VERY different from my original interpictation of his ponderance .....alright, GD could be needed....I know rid divs are near guranteed (or even properly guranteed if the enemy is too crappy at anti div actions)...but what about:
(1): what about a minor diviation?
(1b): how many does rid have of those?
(1c): what if we had someone else do it? how likely would they succeed?
(1d): how likely is the order of omens to find it out on their own?

(2): also, do we know when they are coming? ....

....if lin dies of old age before they even get here, get ready for a burial cas I will laugh my head clean off my shoulders.
