Smooth Marble, a Troll tribe leader.
Ah the Marbles, a type of Troll that has always been closely linked to their future.

I think we let the Eldar deal with that one, as they have a much better handle on the galactic balance of power and what unforeseen consequences that could have.
Probs.

Still I hate to say this, but the Dragon awakening, probably means that the Orks are less likely to hit their final stage...on the other hand the Dragon is its own game over.

Our next research action should be void shells. Because warp weapons are the most effective weapons against Necrons. Nothing else we have would be as effective.

Also the void dragon is a full C'tan. Depending on Durin and what he decides. The void dragon was, is the most powerful C'tan. Multiple Blackstone fortresses could not take him out but only hurt him. The Deciever is afraid of this guy. Machine spirits may be a creation of this guy. Actually all human tech has been influenced by him that was not psyker related. Which explains some things. Like humans being good a gravity, AI, and industry.

I think the biggest problem is how Durin plays any Mechanicus on Mars. They could either be all dead or cultists working for it. Since it is the true god of the Mechanicus. Ok this can be argued but the void dragon has influenced mars for tens of millennia. Which would really put us getting the Trust religion out in the galaxy as quick as possible. And hoping for major reform among the Mechanicus in the galaxy.

Edit oh yeh weird theory I have only seen on Reddit and 1d4chan is that because the void dragon talks to children and gives them powers it likes humanity or wants to use it for its own ends.

Point necrons at Void Dragon.
Points at them having completely weakened themselves in the war in the void.

I doubt they're in fit state to take on the dragon solo...least not without just going nuts with their C'tan killers...

mmm...

An idea occurs to me. The celestial Orery...should it still have Sol as an active star? Could they not just detonate it. Even the Dragon probably can't survive being stranded in the warp Dragio style.

This has been wombat's sleepy thoughts.

I doubt the Celestial Orrery will work on a Daemon Star, but I like the way you think.
Maybe we can get the Eldar to do some rituals to make the Eye of Terra bigger.

It would be convenient if a hive fleet hit Mars. Just sayin. Or maybe if Mars was crashed upon Sol.

Health and education should help provide minor boosts to everything instead of large advances in only a single area.

You guys are seriously underestimating the threat the Void dragon is. Everything but the tyranids have tried and everything lost till the Emperor was able to subdue it and put it to sleep.

Everything but the tyranids has been tried against it and the only thing that came close was multiple Blackstone Fortresses. Necrons are ineffective against the void dragon multiple dynasties lost. Maybe if they sent every necron in existence but past actions have proven ineffective.

Coalition Victory: Necrons and Eldar working side by side with Chaos, Krorks, Humans....

A perfect machine can be made out of imperfect parts.

Honestly, it's hard to say what the powerlevels are going to be like when it actually finishes breaking free.

I mean, I don't exactly like punting the issue to the future, but there's fuck all we or just about anyone else can do about it until then. Only Chaos has anything resembling access right now, and I am very much not down with deliberately boosting them.

How incentivized ARE the Ruinous Powers in keeping Sol on lockdown anyway? I mean, that's a second Eye, right? Even if the Void Dragon is a God of the Materium, it probably still poses a threat to the Warp if it can push through the Eye of Terra.

The Eye of Terra is firmly a Abomination domain. So the Abomination would have to ask the other filthy gods for help. Which I do not see happening all too much.

Also the void dragon created the pylons that severely weaken any demon or warp based power. So chaos biggest advantage is kind of negated. On top of the void dragon being the god of technology and the most powerful C'tan as strong as the chaos gods.

Edit I forgot to mention the void dragon hates chaos and the olds ones creation , and Necrons beyond belief. In that order. Everything else seems to be can I use it or slightly hate less.

At this point I think all the farseers are just looking at this plate full of dangers and thinking to themselves:

"Ynnead's saggy tits how do we make all those galactic threats furiously make out with each other until they all suffocate."

lets just say that it is a good thing that that the Eldar have been practice their skills at making one enemy fight another for the last fifteen thousand years, as those skills are a lot more important now

Didn't the Emprah make Vulkan fix some sort of doomsday device into the Golden Throne to deny Chaos the Sol System.

Did that fail ?

Wtf, Vulkan ? You had one job...

Too much **** to juggle.

@Durin
1. In this kind of situation are the Eldar going to be telling the Crons (they don't like the Dragon either and it does not like them). At this point I think the Eldar should really consider negotiating for use of necron reality busters.

More of a musing on my part, but I do wonder if the Celestial Orrery still functions on Sol, or whether it is considered destroyed?

Nah in this universe for whatever reason the Talisman of seven hammers wasn't installed. (The OOC reason was that the Talisman wasn't a thing when the quest started).

In quest Vulkan still has the Talisman and Ur Draken.
