They probably do.

They are daemons.

Even then they probably waste time being a big happy family and decaying ect

They're not devoting everything they have to defeat the other Chaos Gods. Nurglite daemons often have better things to do, like hugging each other and finding new followers to embrace. Plus the strength of the Chaos factions closely resembles the state of the galaxy. If there's a wave of reform and growth going on, Nurgle's powers will be lesser than Tzeentch. If there's a state of heightened bloodshed going on, Khorne will be the strongest. Etc.
 
I'd like to point out that we already have melee specialist units.

What do you think Rough Rider regiments are? They specialise in countercharging melee fighters and using their explosive lances and the sheer mass of their mounts to deal devastating damage. They buy time for the ranged fighters to disengage.

If we want to up our melee game we should look into putting as many of our Rough Riders as possible on Thundabeasts, and maybe develop some heavy cavalry armor for them that they can use on top of their natural psychic defenses.

We already know that a Thundabeast charge can seriously mess up an Ork army.

Tzeench is probably in ascendece khorne next.

Nurgle was at its height during the Imperium
 
I feel that Nurgle demons aren't as friendly as you guys are implying. I mean Mort is Papa Nurgle's demon primarch yet he is one of the most spiteful and self-loathing characters in 40k. Like Nurgle cultists likely believe everyone should just get along and follow 'Papa' but will get angry if people refuse to follow their orders since they obviously are doing Papa's work. Now imagine two Nurglites disagreeing about how something should be done (let's infect the food versus let's destroy the hospital) and since they both believe that they should be in charge they will get in a fight over who is the leader. This happens despite the two of them both believing they should get along as 'children' of Nurgle since the other guy is just plain 'wrong' and 'I' am the correct one.

Eh humanity it self isn't so much rotting away as it was in the Imperium it's being shot to death. though the galaxy is getting worse.

On the other hand there's tonnes of strong changes happening all the time at the moment.
 
I can confirm that currently the strongest is Khorne and the weakest is Slaneesh, the other three are in the middle
 
A bit later than I wanted but I've updated my Cities table. All that remains to be Upgraded is Dis and Belegost.

Hmm, I wonder when we should have Tranth look at the Terminator armor we are getting from the Blood Dragons? Usually I'd suggest we go after Terminator armor first, but there's that tiny problem of Gork and Mork waking up and there being much better things Tranth needs to work on.

    Impalers fire and the beams glare in the open daylight of the school drill field. It was a tense day for Jacob and his captain Mary as they ducked under sustained fire. There team was under assualt from Terrinberg United the Planets forefront mass assault experts. An here we are the the Galliant Gallian Officers Academy team led by a Half-Cadian woman with a penchant for scheming and a guy doing this because mother said her baby boy needed more 'mandatory fun'.

    "Jacob status!"

    "I'm being shot at Captain!"

    "ON THE SCOUTS DAMNIT!"

    "There still trying to get into position."

    At the end of the exchange another guardsmen loses there life as there 'beeper' goess off via getting 'shot' by a Terrinberg soldier. The front lines were full of holes and pretty soon it was expected to charge in after the scouts finish there flanking attack. No matter how you scratch it there just wasn't enough punching power left in Jacobs team to win the day. But odly enough that wasn't affecting Mary or Jacob. Both of them were fighters born and raised and knew that even still a miracle can get pulled if the right shots are taken and dodged. As thoughts of what they were going to continue a red flare shoots up in the air...which prompted Jacob and Mary to sigh heavily. Very heavily.

    The Scout team was down and there was only now the main body of the team that was barely above half it's strength as is.

    "Captain I believe it's now or never still."

    "Commence the operation for GALLIA!"

    The two young militia officers of the academy blew there whistles respectively to put out the high end pitch that they knew could be heard no matter what. They stood up and charged straight into no mans land where Terrinberg United had it's entire shock and punching power hitting them. An as the Gallian Academy Militia Cadets ran for them they went down being hit by the cadets impalers and faking there deaths as there beepers go off. But still the Cadets ran and met Terrinberg head to head in a melee that would end with an entire regiment being wiped. Jacob himself would take down 15 other cadets before being hit with a coral of grenades surroudning him and Mary would take out the assault leader before also beeping off.

    It was a defeat that would later in the day teach Jane what she already knew about Jacobs resolve in matters of certain defeat. He is a Tiger that when cornered will figh to the death and rally those around him to help...that and he seems to be spending quite a bit of time with this Mary. The idea of making Jacob an Arbtier wasn't a bad one but he certainly has a future in Avernus PDF as an Officer.

    Sorry to call you but can you add this to the list? Dosen't need to be canon if you don't want it to be. I just feel like this is more in line with whats going on current events wise.

When will Mittens finally journey to the North to court that Snow Tiger he talked about in The Care and Raising of Baby Psykers? I ask because Mittens is the best.
