1. The Lamenters are legends? What for? Besides being the lamenters of course.

2. I take it all offers to buy this have been met with a piss off?

So damned if we try either way.
1. there is a series of legends, it sums up to taking being Lamenters to the extreme, both the good and the bad
one of the common legends is that their luck got so bad they they were scatters into small groups or even individuals and that were they appear disaster will soon follow. they often end up defeating the disaster but dying in the process
a common line in their legends is "of all of the Son's of the Angel they have stepped furthest on the Path of Doom, and their heroism is matched only by their cursed fate"
2. more an attempt to explain what they are doing that involves several senses that a human does not have and a thought process that no human can imitate, in other worlds their powers are to tied up with their strange nature

 Poor Lamenters.

They are the best of us and come hell or high water I say we will free you from this curse:rage:

Still part of it makes me wonder if they're starting to either become like Lemartes or Mephestion?

The Angel's gene seed hides many secrets for those that can endure.

Huh, much more polite than I was expecting they're cool :).

1. How do the Trolls view humans.
2. How do Avernites view the Trolls?
3. Would they be amenable to us trying to teach them things like basic writing ect?
4. Could we supply them with metal tools?
5. Have they had any indication that they would be fine with coming to fight our battles if we payed them in a proper manner for their services?

1. as a strange sort of people
2. as one of the less dangerous natives of their planet, though to be honest most of them od not think about Trolls these days
3. unknown
4. you could, their lifestyle has issues with that however. and with any tools that they can not walk through tone with
5. none one way or the other (excluding those battles with Chaos, the only payment needed their is trasport to and fro the battles, THEY HATE CHAOS) possiblly the same when fighting against Necrons as well

12) How Sir Pellinore describes Questling Beast? Sorry again if it was asked too.
12. you can't remember his description, no one can
I find this extremely ominous. Things with mimetic obscurity tend to be either extra-dimensional or 'more real' than physical reality.
On the bright side it seems content to troll a single individual so probably not a concern for the near future.

@Durin
1. Can we ask if they have any anti chaos techniques they think we might be able to use?
2. Do they have any info on the caverns under the spire beyond don't go?

1. they do not
2. no, they basically consider going into the caverns to be a for of suicide, a relatively popular one in fact. a few Trolls have come out alive having changed their minds and they often go on to great deeds.

1. Does this mean the trolls are onboard to fight when we invade Valinor? Sounding them out and giving them some Quartok guns sounds a good way to get some neat auxiliaries. Seems like they'd synergies well with phase tanks.

2. Would an expansion of the governor's own to a full regiment be at all viable for us?
b. How about a full brigade.

The jane inqusition topic seems abit random to be honest and we kinda need her for our psyker issues / the higher level ones. We can and should fib off the menial stuff to subordinates but getting rid of her is stupid to be honest.

The campaign went well , we should try to focus more on annoying the remaining warlord so he doesnt unite the orks in our neighbourghood. Basicly focus our raiding stuff on him and maybe try to kill him if divination can help with that maybe and aiming alot of first effort to him rather than the ones realm we killed ? I mean for after we take garkills domain .

And the naval casulties were kinda bad but the ratio seems worth it i guess but it ties up our building actions i imagine. And a super battleship as a ambusher might actually be a first since the great crusade LOL?

Ah, the Lamenters.

o7, you glorious bastards.

"For those we cherish, we die in glory."

They're Good People.

If we find them, or meet one, we need to give them THE BEST kit we can find. Just on general principle of thank you for being good.

I feel kinda uncomfortable letting them on our ships though. Might be worth divining them. If we could find an apothecary they might be key to cracking the grey Knights.

They're the Lamenters. Sure, something will break, and we'll have a problem.

But we should treat them well, because nothing else will.

Also, why'd they be good for cracking the GRay Knights? Wrong bloodline at all.

Everyone is the wrong bloodline except another grey Knight. Lamenters are blood angels successors who did a lot of geneseed research, and a cursed founding chapter, so likely to have done even more.

Yeah, but some rando isn't gonna have much knowledge.

I mean, if we get an Apothecary, we obvs try and get something, while blinging him out ot keep helping people, but they're really split up.

Honestly it seems like the Lamenter's have some kind of curse of the ideal going on.

They're doomed to always be the best of the best no matter what, but always bring misfortune where every they go.

In most respects they are the most perfect sons of Sanguinius and we have a much better understanding of the warp, warp genetics and psycic frequencies than any one else.

I say if we can't help them nobody can.

Frankly I'd love to divine for any in our neck of the woods, but again priorities ATM.

As has been noted before apothecaries of other chapters even BA are not of much use to us in terms of figuring out the Grey Knights, no more than any other standard apothecary.

The Lamenters also are not big in researching their gene seed after all they don't suffer from it, they are the only ones immune to both.

That is what is fascinating and would be valuable beyond belief to any Blood Angel chapter.

Better, but it still doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.
We are trying for something more convenient than Super Elite Operatives, not an advertisement of our google-fu and Norse mythology knowledge.
Alternatively we could be looking for an appropriate IC name and we can just keep calling them Elite ops.

Still we're just suggesting them so who knows.

I really like bureaucratic titles for the Elite Operatives. The organization can be called the Ministry of Mercy. Does anyone have a good acronym and title for the operatives themselves?
