8th edition codex going to be featured? Like say the Imperium's new repulsion based tanks or the Indominus crusade? Or is this game totally cut off from that?
Well last we knew a few centuries ago Abaddon still hadn't got his way through the Cadia gate
The most powerful Chaos force in the galaxy remains the armies of Abbadon the Despoiler in the Eye of Terror. Currently these armies are in the process of forcing their way though the Cadian Gate, a process which the Dark Eldar estimate will take another hundred years or so. As well as the sheer skill and courage of the Cadians the reason that this has been taking so long is that the Eye of Terror has been one of the major battlegrounds between the Abomination and the Chaos Gods.
... he probably has now.

So I'd say Gathering Storm isn't canon and if the Primaris marines are canon, then they're probably all Abomination controlled as they were on Terra or something.

He'll probably take ideas? maybe.

A few questions:

1: There are two Power Armor Heavy Infantry options in the listed actions. Is one of those supposed to be Light Infantry?

2: Do any of the various unit types want Power Armor upgraded with Stealth? For example, the Light Infantry wanting the Recon armor refitted with stealth? Or the Scout stealth being improved?

2b: If so would it be better to get the Stealth variation done before equipping that specific unit type with Power Armor?

3: For founding the Psyker Orders is there any benefit to having a specific Heroic Psyker found something within their specialty? For example, will a Divination Psyker Order organized by Xavier fuction just as well as one organized by Ridcully?

4: When doing Trade Talks with the Sirens, do we need to specify the animal we are attempting to trade with?

I thought we had to specify, but @Angelform seems convinced that we can just do this:

Diplomacy
Sirens Trade (Avernus animals)

Is that acceptable, or do we need to do something like this:

Sirens Trade (Thunderbeasts)

5: I assume that establishing a Basic Spy Network on Byzantium is also an available Arbites action?

6: If we Spend Time with Marshal Khol, is there a chance of improving her diplomacy?

1. no, one is upgrading your infantry, one is upgrading your heavy infantry
2. Recon could be improved but the upgraded stealth is still far to expensive to put on Scout
2b. no, stalth is currently to expensive for Helltroopers, Helguard yes bit not Helltroopers
3. a boost to initial strength
4. a bit more info would be better, though not a lot
5. yes
6. yes

@Durin there are two Heavy Infantry options. Is that intentional?

This just got answered, the names of the options could be more clear however the first of those is affecting our existing heavy infantry and the second is all the Helltroopers.
It is mentioned in the description and the costs are different. However there might be an error in the reward of the second as it says
Reward: upgrade 419 Helltrooper Heavy Infantry Regiments to Helltrooper Power Infantry Regiments.
Rather than just Infantry Regiments are being upgraded.
@Durin could you rename one of those to make it more clear?
E: Never mind I see you've already done it.

Actually there are two Heavy Infantry and one Infantry. However, looking closer you can see that the reward for Infantry is listed under the second Heavy Infantry matches the Infantry reward, though confusingly both still reference Heavy Infantry. Meanwhile the description of Infantry and the second Heavy Infantry reference only Infantry.

Looks like a copy and paste error, where durin copied the Heavy Infantry several times, and then edited them, but mistakenly edited different portions off different copies when switching back and forth while editing. That's a pretty typical error, I've done it before too.

Not sure what you are asking for. The action is just to see if they value what we are offering enough for a trade to be possible, so we can't set a price. The nitty-gritty details of capture/confinement/transport etc are generally not defined by us. So… just wording?

Diplomacy
Sirens Trade (Offer all Avernus creatures in the 'animals' category that we can capture)

@Durin
1 This work, or am I still missing something?

Anyone remember if we gave the Phase-Tigers (the unit) power armour yet? If so I think we should give them the stealth variant as soon as convenient.

I'll note that this is VERY heavy on AM costs due to all the Power Armor actions, so someone may want to calculate that to see if we can afford to do all of those immediately.

For Diplomacy, I think we may want to do a preliminary check with the Sirens to see if they'd be interested in trading Psyker power knowledge of other Avernite creatures that we've learned in exchange for their knowledge, and then Sound Out the rest of the Trust to see if they'd be cool with that trade. Specifically we're interested in the Sirens' warding schemes, and we really need to get the ball rolling on this while Saint Lin is still alive to verify that the warding isn't corrupted by Chaos (as that will lower resistance to the idea).

maybe one power armor action this turn not all of them .

How much of a bonus its gonna provide is the question i guess to our already insane bonuses ?

Id rather expand the navy with our am income if it isnt significant.

Imagine your standard Avernite Helltrooper.

OK. Now imagine your standard Avernite Helltrooper except harder to kill, with actual mechanically assisted super-strength and speed, readier access to tactical gear, and built-in life support.

It's about like that.

@Enjou can we even spend time with Syr? I am asking because she is with the navy. If we can't what do you think about spending time with Jane?

We can spend time with her much as we can with governors of other planets - it'll involve some travel and probably coordinating vacation times, and will be less time than it normally would, but it should be doable.

I do think we should spend some time with Jane, given that she's looking to adopt.

I think we might want to use divination on the Big Threat. IIRC Durin said we could try to have Ridcully divine that.
