Even the prospect of a super-battleship intact enough to move under it's own power doesn't make up for it's lack of datacore. It's good, but what we need are designs so we can start repairing ships right now. Inspecting another battleship would take 2 years if we start now and 3 years if we wait for the current survey to finish before starting a new one. At this point, we should research escort reactors and get back to super-battleships once the shipyards can start repairing escort destroyers.


@durin We've had hyper juvenat for 39 years. General leopold schwarz has presumably been taking it for that long. when is he estimated to no longer have age penalties?

Schwarz's old age stat malus has been reduced from -5 to -4. He's getting there!

The Frailties of Age (-5C, -2P, -4 to all other stats, less likely to gain positive traits, will decrease over time)- The years have not been king to Lieutenant-General Schwarz and he has many of the ailments of age. His memory is spotty, his body frail and his senses weak. Despite this he is still a deadly warrior and is counted among the best generals of Avernus.

Each of those five is less intact. So the chances of finding an intact datacore actually goes down as we move through the list. If we do find one (minimum 2 years + exploring the datacore). Meanwhile, our shipyards aren't repairing warp-capable ships to defend the nine worlds.

Defense cruisers are nice, but we can't really take them anywhere, and what we really need is something warp-capable that we can repair quickly.

Naa Barisatan was pure combat, Swartchz is admin commander, and intrigue.

Well intrigue in the sense he could sneak around. He did save the King by rescuing him from a hostage situation by infiltration and then exfilitrating the king out.

But yeah, I guess Swartchz is another type of character that fits the Old Master trope. I wonder what quirks he has, that'd probably help with getting a better idea.

well one of his main ones is mistaking people for those long dead, he is getting better but still does that
 
just as a note I am liekly to give traits, or at least give you a chance of getting traits for well written Omakes on your generals
