With technology, in relation to most wildlife, yes. I doubt Impalers mean anything to a Blink Spider, though.

27 yearsI'm happy about the defense monitors being finished. It's a good thing they can slaughter enemy escorts as I don't doubt the orks and tyranids can drown us in them. Hopefully we'll have enough time for the defense cruisers before being attacked.
Even the prospect of a super-battleship intact enough to move under it's own power doesn't make up for it's lack of datacore. It's good, but what we need are designs so we can start repairing ships right now. Inspecting another battleship would take 2 years if we start now and 3 years if we wait for the current survey to finish before starting a new one. At this point, we should research escort reactors and get back to super-battleships once the shipyards can start repairing escort destroyers.
@durin We've had hyper juvenat for 39 years. General leopold schwarz has presumably been taking it for that long. when is he estimated to no longer have age penalties?
we have five other ones to look throughEven the prospect of a super-battleship intact enough to move under it's own power doesn't make up for it's lack of datacore. The Frailties of Age (-5C, -2P, -4 to all other stats, less likely to gain positive traits, will decrease over time)- The years have not been king to Lieutenant-General Schwarz and he has many of the ailments of age. His memory is spotty, his body frail and his senses weak. Despite this he is still a deadly warrior and is counted among the best generals of Avernus.
This man so amazing. He gains such good traits, and is only not the best around because he is old as ****
I don't get the reference.
Look at how many pages there are in this thread.
he is capable of killing a Space Marine in melee despite having the body of a hundred year old manThis man so amazing. He gains such good traits, and is only not the best around because he is old as ****

1337 is internet slang for leet which is also slang for elite.
yeah 1338... still not getting the reference.
Avernus, brings out the best in people or it kills them.he is capable of killing a Space Marine in melee despite having the body of a hundred year old man
OOO. Well this quest was already elite1337 is internet slang for leet which is also slang for elite.
Basically this game has reached "elite" level status by page 1337 to use internet culture.
Ahh, the old Sensei/Kung-Fu/Swordmaster type character. Always excellent to see.he is capable of killing a Space Marine in melee despite having the body of a hundred year old man
The difference is this guy can also command an army, do the politics, and turn Jamie into Shashimi in under a second, all while calling him Reginald.Ahh, the old Sensei/Swordmaster character. Always excellent to see.
It'd be like having Ser Barristan from A Song of Ice and Fire.
Hence me going "dammit". I posted too late and it ended up on the 1338th page instead of the 1337th.
Each of those five is less intact. So the chances of finding an intact datacore actually goes down as we move through the list. If we do find one (minimum 2 years + exploring the datacore). Meanwhile, our shipyards aren't repairing warp-capable ships to defend the nine worlds.
True. Barristan was kind of a Martial and Intrigue character than a Administrator/Commander of Armies type. The difference is this guy can also command an army, do the politics, and turn Jamie into Shashimi in under a second, all while calling him Reginald.
Yeah, but we have to have been lucky at least once right... PLEAAASE wahahaEach of those five is less intact. Defense cruisers are nice, but we can't really take them anywhere, and what we really need is something warp-capable that we can repair quickly.
Naa Barisatan was pure combat, Swartchz is admin commander, and intrigue.True. Barristan was kind of a Martial and Intrigue character than a Administrator/Commander of Armies type.
Well intrigue in the sense he could sneak around. He did save the King by rescuing him from a hostage situation by infiltration and then exfilitrating the king out.Naa Barisatan was pure combat, Swartchz is admin commander, and intrigue.
We should like spend our actions on all the command battleships first, instead of spreading them out, in my opinion.God dammit, no intact datacores
And those were some pathetic coping rolls.
there is a good chance that t least one of them does around 75% for the mostly intact, 50% for the half intact and 25% for the mostly destroyed@durin are the chances of the other 10km+ battleships having an intact datacore very high?
well one of his main ones is mistaking people for those long dead, he is getting better but still does thatWell intrigue in the sense he could sneak around. He did save the King by rescuing him from a hostage situation by infiltration and then exfilitrating the king out.
But yeah, I guess Swartchz is another type of character that fits the Old Master trope. I wonder what quirks he has, that'd probably help with getting a better idea.
Sweet!there is a good chance that t least one of them does around 75% for the mostly intact, 50% for the half intact and 25% for the mostly destroyed
