Recon armor is three turns off and repairing is four turns away. If we avoid any em expenditures we will have more than enough in stock for those two actions. We should have 3k left after this turn with 2k more over the next two. So we will have 5k in reserve on the turn we do recon armor and 4.5k with a 1k income for repairing ships

...Might it be better to open a second school for Psykers elsewhere on the continent? We'd have to build a new everything for them, but it would keep us from putting all our eggs in one basket.

It's a trade off. Expansion option gives us more breathing room in terms of psyker housing, and will make the whole place much more defensible. On the other hand a secondary university will prevent a single disaster from destroying our psyker population.
As long as the Unseen University isn't targeted by Avernus we should be okay on the single disaster front.

And even if it is targeted well... then you have possibly the largest single population of human psykers anywhere in the unvierse at the moment all of whom are physically as capable as grendirs before then powers come it with three Beta levels, one of whom is an expert in directing choirs multiple Gamma and delta levels. Yeah... I wouldn't like to attack that,

I think that Avernus is currently willing to a large settlement in the name of containment. It cuts down on the worst of the War shenanigans and gives relative isolation.

@durin
1. For eventually reverse engineering the Vortex Grenades, would the "Ordo Mallaus Knowledge +10 to warp related research" we have be added to the bonus for that? Also, would
2. Also, would that apply to any of the psyker research we do? I could see it maybe helping with some of them, though not all.
1. Yes
2. Sometimes

@durin that other spacey hulk over Aflehiem, has exploration started?
Yes it has, so far there has been little of interest found

@durin

What are we currently doing with Fjol IV? Did we place a garrison there? Did Vanaheim start any colonization efforts prior to the warp storm separating us?
It is being held by a combination of forces from Vanahiem and the Imperial Trust Guard

So I noticed Britton is down to two projects after the forges finish, one recon armor for the phase tigers and the other is a military version of mobile research. Unless if new options show up I think we can finally get the phase tigers into power armor. Also we have an STC for mobile research with weapons.

@durin is it possible for Britton to help with the STC or other research on his actions since we are almost done with his or will we be getting new options
No, you will get new options

1: If/when we make psyker training facilities in the Auzre Islands, it must be named Bugarup University in accordance with UU naming practices. I'm also tempted to petition to have the planetary hive-mind referred to as the God of Evolution. Sorry, I just re-read Last Continent and these matched up too well.

2: Would it be possible to have Saint Lin interact with the psykers/psykers in training? The way I see it, Lin would probably like meeting them (especially the children), and it would be an important step in reforming the treatment of psykers. Plus, I bet meeting a living saint could help some of the ones with marginal willpower or control.

I like this idea.

Putting Saint Lin right next to a bunch of psykers with crappy willpower and control seems like a Bad Idea.

...Why? He's a happy nice saint to non-Chaos people. So unless we have hidden Chaos psykers around, it'll go fine. And if we do have them, well, he's got that Master Gunslinger trait for a reason.

@durin is Xavier ever going to grow in power level into Alpha tier as Riducully seemed to grown from delta up entire psyker clases?

Edit : Took a quick look at his character sheet. Shouldn't he be at 46 Power instead of 36?

Because one of them will inevitably explode into a warp rift and kill Saint Lin. Unstable psykers are bad news.

Well, so long as there are some psy-suppressors around so that they don't spontaneously explode into daemons, I guess we can risk it.

Graveyard STC Finds
Graveyard STC Finds

Light Gatling Impaler: A lighter variant of the Gatling Impaler, this version is chambered to receive the same rounds as the Impaler Pistol. Due to several factors in its design, it can be wielded without power armour despite it far exceeding the Impaler Pistol's rate of fire.

Full-Body Carapace Armour: A suit of armour covering every inch of the user's body. The legs, arms, and torso are covered in tough plasteel plates capable of effortlessly shrugging off lasfire despite not weighing more than the material used in flak armour. The joints are the only areas not covered by these plates and are instead covered by a black bodysuit capable of resisting stub rounds, but do little else besides make the suit airtight. The helmet incorporates the same HUD used by our current forces, as well as an in-built vox-caster, air filtration system, and a photo-visor similar to what's found in Ignatus power armour, enabling night vision and granting immunity against blind-grenades. A small coolant system is built into the armour (situated at the top of the back and bulging slightly outwards) to keep the user cool.

Plasma Foil: A very complex brand of melee weapon utilizing a contained stream of superheated plasma. Though lacking in physical mass like a chain or power weapon, it is incredibly powerful.

Hyper-Actualisation Implant: A brain implant that allows for faster information processing and can even heighten the speed at which an individual learns. This implant is superior to anything currently available to the Mechanicus.

Bug Spray: A can of compressed chemicals capable of killing most bugs by spraying a mix of paralytics and toxins at them. Harmless to humans if used correctly.

If Beta Pyromancers are supposed to have the firepower of Titans, what equivalent do Alpha Pyromancers have?
