Something to note: it's theoretically possible for us to wipe our debt without actually selling a single ship due to the price hike in metal:

Sell 50 cargo of Metal (1,562,500,000 per year) (+1562.5 credits)
Sell 1,324,350,000 of thrones per year (+607.5 credits)

Total is 2170 credits.

And is sustainable; our net income is higher than the cost for both things, if only barely.
But we still have gigantic reserves for projects in both for any projects we might want to do, we;d just have to budget carefully.

However, that means buying no EM, Adv Material, or Material from them.

@durin some questions
  1. The Vanquishers as they are original examples did we find any upgrades to the standard chasis of the Leman russ, cause surly that must have been better in that time as well
  2. If the vanquishers can switch between normal leman russ rounds and the vanquishers will there be an option to replace all Leman russ's with them?
  3. Did the Leamen russ include an Auto lancher or a better/more efficient engine
  4. How strong are Impalers rifles compared to the bolter
  5. The praetorians we got, do we have the tech to replace them, cause Skitari are one thing Praetorians are another
  6. Do the intact examples of each ship we have increase our chance of reverse engineering them and repairing them
  7. Are teleporters a possibility :D
  8. Can we send expeditions into the hives of Midgard, cause there are usually archeoteche and even STC's there and Midguard is from the DAoT
  9. Can we get Ceramantium as Callamus started its proliferation or was the armor of the Well of Urd made of it?
Sorry if any of these have already been asked :D
edit loader not launcher that would be dumb :D
1. No
2. No, the other variants of the Leman Russ are still useful
3. no
4. Already answered they ae S:5 AP:4 compared to S:4 AP:5
5. Yes you do
6. Yes they do
7. You may find some but even if you do reverse engineering them will be hard
8. Aelfric is looking but has had no success
9. No

Actually, I'll note I fudged the math here - unless they use them to buy metal from us at the 2 Cr per 0.064 cargo, we'd still be in 256.5 Cr of debt. @durin still hasn't answered my question on whether they'd be willing to do this or not. If they are I'd be happy to go ahead and do it. Doing so would put us 56 credits ahead and put them slightly in debt to us (though I'd be willing to forgo this to go ahead and sell them to them now and use them to buy metal from us).

We'd have to sell a good deal more than 10 more if they aren't, and we don't know if Vanaheim will come out of the Warp Storm soon or not. Keep in mind how long Niflheim has been stuck.

Could we make up the difference in Thrones? Or perhaps increase the ratio of Promethium slightly?

But since we ahve to send 1 merchantman to them anyway to deliver the Knights we might as well take 1 cargo load of metal.

I'm pretty sure that a cargo of 0 space requires a minimum of 1 merchantman to deliver.

@durin is that correct? Can we ship 100 Knights to Asgard for example, without dedicating a merchantman to the route?
yes

Could we make up the difference in Thrones? Or perhaps increase the ratio of Promethium slightly?

I'm not going to fudge around with the Promethium math, but to make up the difference in thrones would require us to send them an additional 559 million Thrones a year on top of the 436 million we'd already be sending... so technically yes, but not without getting pretty close to getting into a yearly deficit due to our project spending.

@durin - could you please answer this question so I can know whether or not I should adjust my plan?

Actually though, @durin - could we sell an additional 10 Merchantmen to Svartalfheim with this plan, but have them use them as part of the trade deal above? (basically, they come to own them, but they use them to buy metal from us as agreed upon here)

Wait were in debt? Since when?

I'm so lost since I thought we had like 50 million thrones or something.

EDIT: Someone tell me what the plans are please? Apparently i'm late to the party again :(

Basically in order to support our high tech we bought a &*&^ ton of AM and EM from Stavelhime, putting us about 2000 in debt. As for Vaven we bought some ships and we got their workers to help us repair our orbital industry

Abstaiing due to not knowing enough now...

Maybe we can give the creditors an IOU for thrones or something?

Wonderful. Plan adjusted, and now we're out of debt and Svartalfheim will be the proud owners of 20 more Merchantmen, 10 now and 10 in the next few years.

Maybe we can give the creditors an IOU for thrones or something?

Trade credit debt can be used for multiple things - pretty much any trade good or service. They can also potentially be forgiven for political favors.

@Andres110 - Power Armor is not the sum total of all armor in the 40k universe. Heavy Bolters ignore quite a bit more than Lasguns do. They also do more damage when they do hit.

Looking at the datasheet, is there a reason that the row labelled productivity bonus takes away resources?

This is explained in the notes section:
"Each point of Production Capacity can be used to spend 2 Thrones to turn 1 Metal Into 1 Material (the default) or to turn 1 Metal into 10 Thrones or can be used to turn 1 Material into 1 Metal for 1 Throne"

That is production capacity (the far right column), not productivity bonus. I am looking at the tenth row.

I think it is stuff like our active sermons (that we haven't changed in a while).
