[X] Concentrate fire on one target.- This will allow your artillery to have a major impact on the selected target at the expense of have no effect on the other targets.
[X] Target the keep.- This will make the keep easier to take when the time comes but will not have any effect on the current fight and will take time or concentration of fire to cause major damage. This option would be best if you are planning to quickly push though the city and attack the keep.

[X] Attack aggressively- You could order your forces to be aggressive and focus on taking ground quickly. This will allow you to kill more foes and seize more ground but at the cost of significantly higher casualties and a worse kill to loss ratio. - At this speed your would be able to take the inner city in around ten hours.
[X] Continue to attack until dark- This is the most aggressive option and will allow you to secure a large amount of territory but you will have trouble securing it.

[X] Launch both batteries of deathstrikes at the keep.

Scuse me, in regards to searching, I'm wondering when the phase tigers regiment first made its appearence?

They date from the founding, but where first identified as the Phase Tigers in the Carniflower campaign if I remember right. Carniflowers were massing to attack one of our cities, and during the fight we were also attacked by Phase Tigers - the unit now known as the Phase Tigers took no damage.

So the Phase tigers are a human regiment of Elite Avernites? I thought they were Phase tigers being lead around by handelers an such.

So gun toting soldiers with pet phase tigers are running around/patrolling defenses?

No wonder the Dark Eldar are having such a tough time/possibly afraid of raiding us. These guys are the best dog patrols ever wanted. They can sneak, turn invisible, and dig their teeth into your skin.

The regiment has ambushed Necrons without a single death. Before the animals. They're our most bullshit force.

They are Catachan 813th Light Infantry Regiment, and the last as far as we know, the last Catachans left in the universe. The Catachans were always extremely capable asskickers, but once we got our hands on them and threw them against Avernus, they evolved from "capable asskickers" to "demi-gods of asskickery" just after Xavier and Fredrick Rotbart. Even before they got actual phase tigers, they were always our most bullshit unit, and despite everything, they have never lost a single man in battle. After the first Necron massacre invasion, they found a bunch of orphaned phase tigers and took them in.

Then they trained their new friends to kill things.

If I didn't know better, I would be encouraging the Phase Tigers to start finding themselves some girlfriends so we can get more of them. Unfortunately, they're probably a bit busy for that, but hey, whatcha gonna do?

Or boyfriends. I doubt that none of them are girls, after all.

Are you kidding? The Phase Tigers has so much clout and acclaim and fame they can't walk down a street without getting propositioned. They can spare a couple hours here and there, they are not going to be that busy. They do have time off when they aren't working after all.

I don't believe Catachan has any mixed-gender regiments. In fact, the vast majority of the Imperial Guard is made up of all-male regiments. The Asgard sub-sector is one of the exceptions in that all the native regiments are mixed-gender.

Yeah just about, but mixed gender regiments and all female isn't impossible by any stretch of the imagination. The galaxy is a pretty damn big place.

According to the first Ciaphas Cain novel, women make up less than ten percent of the total Imperial Guard's forces. Mixed-gender and all-female regiments do exist but they're a small minority.

IIRC, Isn't it illegal to not be armed?
I believe so. I believe we are using a very militant form of Good Samaritan and Civic Duty laws, which requires that the citizens help out Imperial forces and their common man against the hostile lifeforms of Avernus. By not having a weapon, you are NOT contributing to the well being of society, Imperial government, and your fellow man.

Well unless your completely incompetent in its use in that case your contributing by not accidentally killing your fellow man and dying off real quick to save the gene pool from your incompetence.:p;)

We need more omakes in @Addio's fashion, with non-Avernites interacting with Avernites. Foreign perspectives on a world where everyone gets Grenadier-grade training is always welcome.

that too

I mean making a family both so that they have one more thing to fight for and so that we actually have documented records on some "phase kittens" to boost the Phase tiger numbers at some later point.

Omake: Avernus Fashion News Network

And our first selection of the night is Avernus's newest fashions and accessories.

First up is Jane McIntyre, and she's sporting the newest line up from FabriTac's summer clothing line up. FabriTac blue sundress combined with the new CZ65 Tactical Jacket and boots from ZStealth. It's light, it's cool, it's comfortable, and with FabriTac's new alloy microwire, carbon weave, it can resist up to two lasgun hits.

Check out what she's wearing under that Jacket.

It's FabriTac's new CHZ12 crossdraw, low profile tactical holsters. You can't even tell it's there, but look how she is concealing those two laspistols.

There's also the belt, new from CryTac Accessories line. With its magnetic clips, it can hold anything from wallets and keychains to grenades, pistols, and even an impaler.

Hey, have one of our interns bring up an Impaler.

Look! The belt is even able to hold that weight safely on her waist where it is easily accessible.

Incredible!

Thank you Jane. Onto our next model!

And now coming down the catwalk is Jessica, and she is also sporting some more of FabriTac's new lineup, this time for a little more subdued charm.

I tell you Mike, FabriTac is really outdoing themselves this season. For those who prefer to turn fewer heads, but also like comfort, there's the . . .
