Like Andres said. Those things are the big killers once we start playing a more conservative advance.

several of the great powers are mentioned in A is for Avernus, if only indirectly
One day I may yet face a reckoning for having written that.

[jk] Hold on to your pants folks! The Krakens have surfaced and demand our obedience to the sea god, the great Island Turtle![jk]
Really I'm betting that the other three continents have some nasty and possibly sapient things that can hurt us as bad as the Orks did.
*snerk*

As bad as the orks did? Would that I shared your boundless optimism.

I haven't been following closely enough to know if this is an option, but I am amused by the notion of using modforts to establish siege lines inside their walls, and conducting this as a siege hereafter.

durin

What is the Dark Eldar slave soldier racial composition? (human, xenos, etc)

is there any possibility of causing them to revolt?

Ok, just got through reading all the canon omakes and some of the non-canon ones.

In the list of omakes, I clicked on Preparations in Space but instead found myself reading Readying the Line. This one is missing from the list entirely.

In Balanced Approach, the Emperor was said to be the avatar of the Omnissiah. It's a bit of a nitpick but he's actually considered to be the Omnissiah itself which is the avatar of the Machine God. He's techno-Jesus, basically.

I have a certain appreciation for the omake in the Underhive with King Tiger. It's kinda like Mad Max except in 40k which is pretty cool.

Die Standing is my favourite. It's a very heartwarming story.

[X] Concentrate fire on one target.- This will allow your artillery to have a major impact on the selected target at the expense of have no effect on the other targets.

[X] Target the artillery- This will reduce the amount of damage that the Dark Eldar artillery can do over time but will cause less damage then some of the other targets due to the fact that the artillery is most likely well fortified against return fire. This option would be best if you are planning to take your time and turn the fight into an extended siege.

Could I maybe try to get rid of Syr's A Bit Spoiled trait by writing an omake? The idea of an Avernite tutored by the Last Saint himself being spoiled just bugs me. I'm not very good at writing but I'm willing to try just to get rid of that annoying trait.

She's still a child. It'll probably go away in time, especially once she gets actual responsibilities.

Maybe we can have Oakheart teach her swordfighting? Jane gets a bonus when teaching so it should go fairly well. She won't hold back just because she's the governer's daughter and the sooner she learns to fight the better.

Avernites are still not mutants or cyborgs. Basic neurological development is the same.

Six isn't a bad age to start the basic arm strengthening exercises for swordplay actually. Way beneath Jane to teach her that, but it's not a bad idea to get her started with a basic instructor. That way when she's old enough to use a sword properly she'll have the muscle and reflexes to make use of it. If she starts now imagine how good she'll be by the time she's our age.

Strengthening exercises sure but actual sword training would not show much improvement and may have adverse effects on her development.

Medieval nobles started weapons training at the age of seven. With better medical care and nutrition it should be entirely possible to start then if we so choose. Of course, we need to consider there are other more important skills for her to train in order to be a governor one day.

Medieval nobles also sometimes got reactions like Richard the third and his overdeveloped right arm and possible spinal problems.
