That'll be 2x 1d10+4, and two hit locations.
Given that you can't react to counter charges, I'm just not so sure how well Rampart's plan was thought through.

And Bastion's a little annoyed at its comrade being slower than tanks are.

West:

Poor Rampart doesn't stand a chance, as Tacit Ronin charges in, and tears the kaiju's left leg clean off at the hip!

Rampart takes 8 Strikes! +4 Ongoing! Rampart is losing stamina! -5 Agility! Rampart is immobilized! L. Thigh Armour Broken! Pelvis Armour Broken! Rampart is Prone!

With a bubbly shriek, the kaiju crashes to the sea floor, glowing blue blood soaking out of its wound into the water. The kaiju curls up, wrapping its arms around itself to hide its head.

East:

It seems Bastion's had enough of Palisade's slow pace, as the kaiju simply walks around its sower comrade, hissing with its frog-like maw as it passes. Bio-luminescence dances under its skin, flowing towards the right arm as its EM readings continue to grow.

Distances:
East:
- All forces intersect the DP
- Palisade and Bastion are about 33-36 East of the DP, with Bastion 3 in front of Palisade.
West:
- Tacit is 50 units West of the DP and the Hellhounds, and melee with Rampart.
 
Hmm. Think the helis can take down Rampart?

If they were armed with torpedoes, maybe. But they can't shoot through a hundred meters of water with their missiles.
As it is, there's a very real chance that Rampart will just bleed to death, seeing how it can't walk anymore.

Or you could stomp on it.

I'd rather they not all be clustered together in case the EMP has a large AoE

Duly noted—invest in heli missiles.

@aledeth Shouldn't we have them move over towards Palisade now? Especially since Bastion has pushed past?

I foresee the next High Council meeting having a General feeling very happy because his plans worked out and an Admiral drunkenly pushing to create a navy. Unfortunately that's all I have for now.

I think its best t keep them back in case the Kaiju EMPs our troops.

Actually, it occurs to me that Bastion's EM radings might not be from an EMP, but from a Rail/Coilgun.

There's no contest here. Tacit Ronin raises up its foot, preparing to bring it down on Rampart's body. The kaiju feebly wiggles, arms trying to bat away the blow. Tacit just kinda kicks the arms away, before bringing its foot down.

Rampart takes 3 Strikes!

It seems like Tacit applied a little too much force, completely crushing the kaiju's hip. Rampart lets out a bubbly squeak, before passing out. Tacit promptly bring its foot down on the kaiju's throat.

Kaiju SE-26-011, "Rampart" Defeated!

Meanwhile, the somewhat slurred voice of a council member orders for the Hellhounds to spread out, lest they be caught by the EMP. Despite the fact that the kaiju under suspicion is almost eight kilometers away from them.

The guns are still waiting.

Now free of its slow ass companion, Bastion puts on a massive burst of speed, before slamming its feet into the dirt a couple kilometers from the wall of guns. It hisses, not with irritation, but with a malevolent glee.

Distances:

- Palisade is 33 East of the DP.
- Bastion is 21 East of the DP.
West:
- Tacit is 50 units West of the DP and the Hellhounds, which are 3 units apart. You'll need to walk all the way back to the 20 unit mark before the carryalls can grab you.

A: GM just told us that the choppers with real guns (Hellhounds) are still 8 turns away, so unless you want our single scout chopper to try and shoot Palisade (why Palisade anyway?), there's nothing to be done there.

B: None of the wall guns can even shoot Bastion, he's 21 units away and they have a 20 unit range

C: Only the tanks can move to get into range.

D: If we move the tanks up to shoot Bastion, we're almost definitely putting ourselves into its range, and the Kaiju wins a shooting battle with two tank squads almost every time. We have to hope that its gun is no longer ranged than ours is.

A: Moving the choppers closer isn't bad considering they're so far out, though

B-D: Fair, I guess I was thinking of a "prepared action"—take full aim and be ready to shoot when he's in range. Fixing vote:
