[] Spooky Scary Skeleton of a Plan
-[] Fix tacit Ronin.
-[] Install missing armor and weapons
-[] Study the Kaiju brains in our possesion to better understand how this hive-mind thing works.
-[] Breach Research Action: Study what exotic effects the Breach can generate, with a focus on what can be weaponized or used to improve our weapons.
-[] J-Research: Shoulder-mounted DEW for Tacit. Focus on power first, with reasonable range. A limited number of uses is a fair price for something that can lay down the hurt.
-[] Free Comms Action: Search for assets that might be recovered for Neo-Seattle. People are also assets, of course.
-[] Improve one of our Jaeger's stats.
-[] Research Waltz's biomechanical shell.
-[] Research Jaeger-scale flight. Use the Token.
That's what I want to do this turn. Mostly, I want weaponized Breach-Tech as soon as possible because it is our ticket to Super Robot town instead of the Mostly Real Robot Land we're stuck on. But before we can make Breach-Powered Fangblades we need to know what the Breach can do. Can you create circuits out of it, what hapens if you run varying levels of electricity through the PlU alloy or the Blue, that sort of thing. Ascalon showed us a complicated enough PlU-Blue circuitry can create a hammerspace, so we know it can be done, and we know electricity does something because it also had loads of neurons connected to it.
I altered the wording of @KnightDisciple Weapon Research to be more vague, both to allow Fyrstorm more freedom in designing the weapon and because we might get something with better endurance depending on our roll. I'll be honest and say I imagine the Endgame version of this weapon to work like Bellzelute Brigandy's shoulder lasers, homing optional but welcome. I mean, we have Breach Magic, homing lasers shouldn't be considered impossible until we try.
Funny thing, both our Jeagers can use Ascalon's Blade since both have 3 Dex. It definitely should go to Jahdhund, because she earned, but that also means upgrading her STR or Dex to make it more effective. probably the Dex, since that's the one that gives bonuses to the weapon damage.
Tacit is also two points from his current stat cap, so it's worth it to upgrade him some more, but not extremely important for now.
Researching Waltz's shell is there because we keep forgetting it exists and we've had it gathering dust for a good ling while now.
Finally, we have my newest Pet Project of making our Jaegers fly. It honestly isn't that important in th long run, but it'd be a very good thing to have.
Not really an edit:
@Space Jawa I'm okay with your plan, but it'd be better to just call for another conference with KRAUN and bring all that up then, like the last time, instead of cramming them all onto the plan.
I also think we don't need to research all that in Safe Mode. It's a useful tool when we're dealing with something we don't know at all but by now we know enough about opening and closing Breaches that we don't need to use it.
