You can only throw one.

Technically, that'd be "maintain Submission Hold", rather than start a new one.
...So we can't inflict extreme amounts of pain on the Kaiju/riddle it with Temporary Strikes again? :(
a Free Attack is a given, but what else can we do with two/three points? Shooting with the Laser Vulcans is right out thanks to those multiple dice rules.

Edit:
[X] Maintain hold, Free Attack, then Standard Attack.

No, Maintaining a Hold keeps inflicting it. You'll still throw 1d5+Str Temporary Strikes onto Euphonium, you just aren't wasting two points you wouldn't need to spend!

The difference between Maintaining the Submission Hold and starting a new one is basically between continuing to do the fin thing and trying to find something new to twist and hurt on Euphonium. Either way, it's doing the same thing.

Edit: on a side note, I will be very amused if you guys actually end up throwing Euphonium.

Oh, nice.
I almost pity Euph now. Almost.

Euphonium is two to three times Tacit's size, but I am more than happy to let you throw him like a sack of potatoes. A very big, radioactive sack of potatoes.

You know, this statement makes me want to make an explicitly smaller than normal Jaeger, though still big enough to classify it as a K-Scale opponent and not a Mk 0. And then have its thing be toss giant Kaiju four times its size across the map.

*Goes off to cackle in a corner*

I just hope Euphonium survives the next round so Phenom can have some fun. Even if it's only so Tacit can Expose Euph for a free attack from Phenom.

As long as you don't use your Vortex Burn, Euphonium's probably gonna survive till next round. And even then, he's got a decent chance.

Tacit and Jagdhund have both used their reactor weapon at least once each during this campaign, if not more.

Tacit burnt someone in half in a grapple, and Jagdhund blew Boxcar's head off during one of her first battles.

So far, the choices I'm seeing are:
[ ] Beat the shit out of Euphonium with your bloody, melted robot arms.
[ ] Hurl a monster three times your size half a kilometre.

And while the former does have its own sort of rage-blinded charm, the latter is exactly the sort of super-robot bullshit I love seeing. Hm, which one will win, which one, which one?

You could basically call the first one "NGE: The Fisty Redux" and the second "Gundam Yooooooo!" :V

The "throw it to Phenom" plan has a fatal flaw in that Phenom will take falling damage from the throw. And I don't know how that Falling Damage works mechanically, but I do know that anything the (relative) size of Euphonium hitting you is going to hurt.

We could definitely throw it like, one unit so Phenom can charge it, but then what's even the point?

This is why I tried to specify that we throw it a minimum number of units so it travels four, though that might not have made it into the vote itself.

I mean, you could throw Euphonium somewhere that isn't at Phenom. He'd still take damage, and you wouldn't have to worry about damaging your own giant robots. I just think the image of you throwing Euphonium is awesome, and I'm fairly certain you've not done it before.

K.

[X] Tacit Throws Euph to Phenom's right and Choke's Out Alto

...Could we throw Euph diagonally so it lands 4+ units beside Phenom?

This works too tho.

Yes.

Well, depends on your throwing roll. You can definitely toss Euphonium in any direction you choose.

Also, even if you just land him 1 unit from Phenom, Phenom can Shift in and do horrible things anyways.
