Super Robot Quest G

I am definitely looking forward to both seeing the results of the Science! (Science!) which the Faedium C-Crystals has given us... And also learning more about the Regency's reaction to 'how the hell have you managed to improve this very extensively researched technology within a couple of years of being given a run down on it's function?

Hrrm…An Empathetic booster for solving the power problems?
Well.
I had honestly thought up a different theory for mixing technologies for ESP improvement-
Faedinium shards for further training of control, and also using proper Faedinium blocks to use as a proper Power-Source, the idea being Faedinium's storage ability might prevent the usual charge-depletion problems that keeps people from stacking charges until some sort of 'critical mass' is obtained and things start floating or whatever.

Probably my favorite out of these, though that was kind of obvious considering how much I've been pushing for a drill attachment for Ichiro.

"And without even knowing what you were doing!"

"We humans have a saying: The best do not fear second-best, they fear the worst because they have no idea what they'll do."

Right now, the K-Lungs have an effect quite similar (if not quite as intensive) to how classic Yuusha/Brave sword finishers go. Voltron/Go-Lion's Blazing Sword is also an apt comparison!

It's a capacitor, right? It can't generate power itself, but it can store a lot up and release it really, really fast for powerful finishers?

Empathetic Booster though looks like it solves the final major theoretical bottleneck to unlocking Spirit Commands though, so good going!

Emphatic Booster + Faedium + C-Crystals + K-Lung + Blaster tech as a medium all the rest can be integrated into, huh?

That sounds...

Exciting

We may have seriously underestimated the value of miniaturization there. And we already considered it a technological sea change lmao

It could be the endpoint of Ichirous own frame being designed around such a finisher. Just juice up on a customized Sledder for the purpose to power the attack Spark-Calibur style.

Very Super AI.

what mechs would be best used with Ichiro in a combination form? We already are planning on him being the fourth Super Robot and eventually he will get a third form hopefully.

Hmm, is delaying tech trading with Ground Pound a turn worth it so we can see the Faedium Block used in battle conditions?

(My thoughts were that we should trade for basic repair nanites tech that we would power up by using energy shards)

That said, if you want them to combine into a larger form independently, nothing but time and investment is stopping you. There's a long tradition of support robots that combined into their own.

Here's a few examples of that.
Which is what I've been wanting to do with them anyway, so that's fine. Even gives us a way to sidestep any limitations on number of Super Robots we're allowed to deploy by making a support team combine into a second one ("of course we've only deployed one Super Robot, pay no attention to the combination hardpoints on the support units we brought along, they're totally not components for a second Super Robot"). ...Is that still a thing with the rework?

I don't want swords. They are cool, but...
I want gods damned spear.
I want charging Kaiju to stick itself on the sharp pointy stick, using it's own momentum to penetrate scales, and stop, because stick transfers his momentum into ground.

And I want the spear to freeze damn beast from the inside.

So what are we going to do make a centaur?
...... IF we added a fifth unit we could make a flying Centaur

Pegasus Saber remains one of the most unique designs in the Brave series. He shows up in Da Gaan (or Da Garn, depending on translation), the third series in the list. No one else has taken his design at all outside of fantasy/mecha fusions. I'm also not sure I could articulate it in writing that well.

Making the support team combine into its own supporting Super Robot?

Yeah, go nuts. This is a time honored tradition of the genre!

How about a drill? Depending on how you build them, drills can basically be spears that spin!

(I'd give a video example, but I forgot what Nia's robot in TTGL is called, and honestly it only shows up for a few seconds before combining into STTGL anyway.)

IF We want a Drill some Considerations..... Where would we put it on the Super RObot Chest or Arms? Which Super robot would wee put it on? Our existing one or another one?

How big do we want the Drill?

Can our Units Arms hold it?

What Material do we make the Drill Head out of?

Do any of our technologies lend themselvesa to the spin mechanism?
....
Could We use the Fire Lung to give the drill Head A Booster MEchanism....

I am envisioning something like Crystal Lancer for some reason Crystal LAncr

I don't want the spear to go all the way through.
My example explicitly uses spearguard that limits the penetration depth, so Kaiju or other enemy can't go crazy, close in, pushing spear through it's body, and eviscerate Super Robot right back.
