God, after all this time the Perseus is complete, our last Gen 1 machine. Jessica's doesn't count it's got Regency magic bullshit.
Pretty sure Perseus is Gen 2, not Gen 1. Beowulf is absolutely Gen 1. Ichiro is Gen 2.God, after all this time the Perseus is complete, our last Gen 1 machine. Jessica's doesn't count it's got Regency magic bullshit.
I think "complete" is a bit of a stretch. If nothing else, I suspect that the Sledders he combines with could use some upgrades (reinforcement, for one thing).God, after all this time the Perseus is complete, our last Gen 1 machine. Jessica's doesn't count it's got Regency magic bullshit.
No, Beowulf is currently in the process of upgrading to Gen 2. Perseus has not yet undergone the upgrades to be Gen 2, like the cockpit redesign.Pretty sure Perseus is Gen 2, not Gen 1. Beowulf is absolutely Gen 1. Ichiro is Gen 2.
Major Devin personally, no? There's other branches for reals and multiple Super start ups now....... Can we sponsor a program designed to create standalone mechs? Say Gundams?
eh, I think I misunderstood your point. I thought you were saying that Perseus was our last Generation 1 Super robot that we built with gen 1 tech. No, Beowulf is currently in the process of upgrading to Gen 2. Perseus has not yet undergone the upgrades to be Gen 2, like the cockpit redesign.
Speaking of which, how on-point are my suspicions re: Perseus' Sledders needing upgrades? Like, do they start with anything besides the Pile Bunker, or will we need to queue up a separate action to, for example, give them Zirvitium?
Perseus now has a Revolving Stake. But can we give it him shoulder mounted Claymores using the Crocalisk Scale/Carrier?

Entirely possible, if we put Max on researching the emitter she accidentally stumbled onto while working on the Anti-Gravity Solution way back when. (will edit in a direct link here when I find it.)
"A bit mixed," Max admits. "Anti-Gravity didn't, uh, turn out so well."
"Is that why half my samples started floating when I tried shaping more K-Class?" he demands.
"I may or may not have had something to do with that," Max says. You note she is terrible at trying to sound innocent. "I followed the plans, but most of it was incomplete. I tried bridging the gaps with steel." She shakes her head. "The apparatus didn't work. It was trying to make everything else but the metal lighter. I'm going to have to make another go of it after I clean everything up."
What does, the anti-gravity emitter? Not really- we've already stumbled onto a lead, we just need to do a follow-up (check the quote I edited into my previous post- and if you already have, check again, I got the wrong quote at first). Only thing we need to figure out how to do is to consistently reproduce it.That sounds like something we should get a quantum physicist and will take 12 turns
Now picturing: Giant Robot Goose.
Weissritter? I think? The one that Excellen Browning pilots?Someone please ask Sir Plusse what flying Sniper partner he's talking about? He's got me both confused and intriged
Gonna assume this is in response to him asking where I got the idea for a flying sniper, and confirm that this reference is exactly what I meant.

EDIT: BEHOLD!
I'm pretty sure that given our gains we can create the Grungust Type-0 if we remove Configuration.Develop rocket fist technology to truly make the most out of pilebunkers.
We already have wire guided mechanisms for Gattai so there is already an option to reel then back in.
It'll also make rocket fists in general less impractical besides rule of cool while negating one of pile bunking's greatest weaknesses of knife range.
