I think he meant for Armor Summoning, as the wiki for the Gowngoat states they curl into balls that look like rocks to hide from predators or to shield their young.

Yes that! Camo is a kind of protection. I don't know how tough their hides are but it be interesting to get a cloak that would provide that sort of hiding protection.
Here we go. Again this chapter didn't go exactly as I planned and it's longer too. But it does cover the whole of Sunday so that's nice. Enjoy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sunday, 05/22/2011 (3 AM)
The night that followed my date with Crystal was spent twisting and turning every which way in my bed. I just couldn't stop thinking about her and our relationship.
When I reached out to her for that first date, it was in the hope that we would get together. We would date for a time, and hopefully, it could develop into a more serious relationship over time. I just didn't expect to develop such strong feelings so fast. It wasn't a bad thing at all. Every moment spent in Crystal's company was made of pure joy. It's just caught me off guard.
I tried to compare those feelings to the one I once held, and still did in a way, for Akemi. They developed much slower, it was months into our relationship before I realized that I was in love with her. The suddenness and intensity of those feelings scared me a little.
Scenario after scenario keeps opposing up in my brain. What if she ends up not returning my feelings? Would I be able to accept it? What if she did? What if something happened to her? Would I be able to remain rational?
Around three in the morning, I gave up sleeping as a bad job and got up. I didn't need it anyway. Deciding that some exercises would do me good, I jumped into the Orbs and then into Nimue's Dungeon.
For an added challenge, I did so unarmed and wearing only some old exercise clothes. At this time of the day, I only had very few partners summoned so I was nearing my weakest possible states. The only tool I allowed myself was my burgeoning Armament Haki and the occasional burst of chakra to cling to walls.
Despite that, I had no real difficulty when traversing the various floors. The fact that I knew what to expect didn't help. It was only when I reached floor six and after beating the last boss, Stomper, with a Haki-enhanced finger poke right on the center of his masked head, that I encountered the first real obstacle of this run.
Gawain, Nimue's newly named boss, appeared before me. The white bull was as magnificent as the last time I'd seen him, just a few hours ago. On this floor, he was just slightly smaller than a normal bull but still impressive. And this time he was ready for combat, with an aura of crackling electricity around him and a light fog spreading around his hooves.
I didn't win this fight, not with the limitation I was laboring under. The bolts of lightning surrounding Gawain inflict painful shock that didn't deal any real damage to me but screwed with my concentration preventing me from using Haki, meaning that damaging the Bull was nearly impossible.
That's not to say I lost, however, I was too nimble for Gawain to touch me with any degree of reliability and my enhanced defense meant that only a good hit from his horns would do anything meaningful.
After half an hour of back and forth, we settled on a tie. Nimue was radiating feelings of pure smugness at the strength of her protector.
I also got a surprise, she invited me into her core room and presented me with an ingot of very special Copper, something that she cooked up shortly after Gawain's birth, a room-temperature superconductor.
That was indeed excellent, one more gift for my Tinker friends, and even for my own technologically inclined partners.
While I was in the Dungeon I used the opportunity for something that I've been putting off, giving a Node to Nimue. With her new boss, she'll need more Mana than before and it would allow her to regenerate her floors faster.
Expanding a daily summoning of Silverwood tree to use Material Extraction allows me to gain a Node in a Jar. A quick jaunt back to Nimue's core room and the node was placed near the ceilings right above her core.
When I emerged from the Dungeon it was with a clearer head. I wouldn't worry about my relationship with Crystal, it would evolve at whatever path felt the most natural for us. I'll share my feelings with her whenever the moment feels right and we'll just see what happens. Worrying about it now, wouldn't change anything. I'll just do everything in my power so she would return my feelings.
Incidentally, I also gained a level each in my Dungeon Master and Researcher Classes, neither of which granted me anything new but progress was always appreciated.
While I was trying to think of what I should do next, the Menagerie gave me two new partners.
Well, we have a magnificent bird, called a Blue Diva, with a magnificent voice./That's nice I suppose./Hey, why don't have her provide some melodious accompaniment for our date this evening?/…/Nah, too much./ Anyway, our second new partner is much more impressive. It can boast the title of Biggest Partner, yet. And not by a small margin at that. Our new Sleft-chuff is nearly three times as long as Rex is tall./Despite that, it can't be considered to be strong. It's basically an alien living dirigible. It even comes with a big gondola attached underneath it./I suppose that if ever want to go on a flying cruise we could./More seriously, Material Extraction from it gave us something called Tibanna gas. A very useful material. It can be used to create excellent energy weapons, such as blasters, serve as fuel, amplify the effect of explosives, and serve as a coolant for Hyperdrive./Sadly our power doesn't stretch far enough to allow us to create a whole hyperdrive. Only the coolant system and the knowledge of linking it to an existing hyperdrive./That's already a lot of info, we can deduce plenty of things from it.
At the pace I was going, I was a little afraid that my Tinker friends would be overwhelmed by the onslaught of interesting materials. Furthermore, what would we even do with a Hyperdrive right now? Once we deal with the feathered bitch we'll see. The blasters on the other hand might be nice, my powers indicated that they were pretty cheap to create. Something to arm the trooper to help deal with Brutes maybe. I'll have Clank build a prototype soon and my AI self writes the instructions for the coolant system in as many details as possible. It may be possible to use it on things other than a hyperdrive.
A quick jaunt into the Evernight realm allowed me to summon the Sleft-chuff, which I named Zeppelin after at least ten seconds of deep consideration. It was indeed massive, and kind of ugly, a yellowish fish with tentacles on its face the size of a football stadium just floating in the sky with a gondola suspended under it.
Teleporting inside the gondola, I found a luxurious apartment, something that would be found on the top floor of a five-star hotel. And with some serious high-tech too, among other things, I found Hover Lights that could follow you around, a shower that used vibration to clean you up, an electronic closet that gave you whatever outfit you wished at the press of a button, and multiple holoprojectors. On the last ones, I was confused because everything came in shades of blue and you could see what was behind the hologram so it was sometimes hard to see the image itself. Did I get defective ones?
The content displayed by those projectors appeared to be mainly entertainment, movies, music shows, skits, and so on. They all feature a variety of alien races, but the majority of the actors appear human. Was it because humans were the dominant species in that universe? Or because the former owner of this gondola preferred humans as his entertainers?
Furthermore, a number of those species reminded me of aliens I've seen in old movies that Dad was a fan of. Coincidence? Or a confirmation that some of the worlds my partners came from appeared as fiction in mine? It was something to look into at some point, and it might help me learn about some of those worlds in preparation for some Dimension hopping.
Conveniently, like the books I've seen in the castle, everything was in English, courtesy of the Menagerie.
More than satisfied with the results of my exploration I returned to the real world just in time to prepare breakfast for Mom and Aylamon.
Of course, the two of them teamed up to grill me about yesterday's party. I took it with good humor and told them all about it. They were particularly merciless in teasing me each time Crystal's name came up.
I was only able to make my escape after promising Mom that she would get to meet Crystal as soon as possible.
Even though it was Sunday I did have a few things to do at work. The first thing was reviewing the candidates' dossier that I would meet with tomorrow. This time none of them would be Parahuman, I would be creating brand new Heroes and not just enhancing existing ones. If all goes well, five new Heroes will join the Protectorate tomorrow.
It was however getting harder to find new and creative ways to hide the link with my own powers. I could only use armor or vehicle summoning so many times before it would look suspicious. Villainous Thinkers, and gangs in general, keep an eye on all new Parahuman that surface, in particular those that join the Protectorate. For now, it was fine, but I still need to be careful.
Another problem was that I was running out of partners that I was willing to give away. Well no, I still had plenty, but the vast majority didn't bring anything to the table. I was running out of partners with relevant powers that I was willing to give away. There was some aspect of possessiveness in that, I was attached to my partners and I was reluctant to part with them. More than that the partners with the most power were the ones that I spent the most time with. So mechanically I was more attached to them.
And lastly of course there was the fact that some partners were key components of my strategies. So although I had more than two hundred and fifty, the actual number that I could give away was much smaller. It wasn't yet a problem but it could become one in the future. It would be slightly easier once it became public but I wasn't looking forward to it. I was already far too popular for my taste. I already had what felt like an entire department dedicated only to my fan mail.
Looking at this batch of candidates, they all look more than promising. They were all affiliates with the PRT or the Protectorate at various levels, a necessity to facilitate recruitment. Unlike the other groups I've seen so far, they would arrive with more information than the others. Enough to know that they would expect to gain Parahuman powers. My involvement wouldn't be mentioned but the fact that they would come to Brockton Bay had a good chance to clue them in.
Satisfied with that, I switch to another topic, a more clandestine one, freeing Dragon from the Dragonslayers. After procuring more TV screens and polaroids, I repeat the procedure I used to scry on the Nine. I was able to discover a lot. The most important piece being their location, north of Ottawa, near a town called Gracefield. The place reminds me a lot of the farm where we found the Nine. This time it was an abandoned sawmill.
They only count three members, two men and a woman. I saw three refurbished dragon suits stored in a hangar, I would need to neutralize them at the start of the operation. My technologically inclined partners would be key for this, Legion first of all.
As I wouldn't be acting with official backing, I decided that I would act at night sometime this week, depending on how my schedule looks like. The main question I needed to answer was whether I should involve Colin or not. I knew that he was close to Dragon, but he was the leader of a Protectorate Branch. Considering the level of access that Dragon possessed in the PRT and Protectorate systems, and as a consequence that the Dragonslayer also had, the need for secrecy was absolute.
Unable to decide, I postpone that decision to tomorrow.
I had lunch in the Rig's cafeteria, where I received accolades from every civilian worker and trooper I crossed paths with. Some of them lost family members to the Nine, and they swore that they would do anything I asked of them. This level of reverence, of worship even, was more than a little unsettling even if their gratitude was appreciated. I did my best to smile and accept their thanks gracefully.
To relax a bit once I finished eating I decided to relax some more, by playing fetch with mydogs. With six overenthusiastic and empowered dogs, it became chaos nearly instantly, and it was all the more fun for that.
While we played I was reminded that a minor villain called Hellhound was in town. She could empower dogs, transforming them into giant monstrosity. I never met her or the group she belonged to. They specialized in hit-and-run tactics and were extremely slippery. Since I got on the scene they didn't make any splash. Their habits of hitting other gangs made them low priority.
Would she be able to work with my doggy partners? Max, Maculla, and Kageroumaru almost certainly, Hooch and Cujo obviously not unless her Shard was cheating in some major ways, and for Mane it was impossible to tell.
I've already recruited my fair share of Villains so I wasn't against recruiting a few more. Maybe if I encounter them when I return to patrolling I'll make the offer before bringing them in.
Once I managed to tire out the dogs, or at least when they had enough and they decided to lay down into a content pile of fluff and lolling tongues, I returned to my work.
My last order of official business for today was using Random Summoning to see if I got anything interesting today.
The first result was lackluster. A mix between a turtle and a beetle with a big head. I mean the Walf was cute and friendly enough. It's just that as a one-off summoning, I couldn't do anything with him. I teleport it into the orb in a pond, so it could have some fun until I dismiss it.
The next one was a lot more interesting. A strangely shaped flying robot that could heal its allies. Their adaptation resistance power was particularly interesting. I wouldn't have minded gaining them as permanent partners. I extracted a canister from them, for later study and also something called an Orokin Cell. I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to get anything out of them but it was worth trying.
The real surprise came with the last Random Summoning of the day. I found myself teleported inside the cockpit of an Eva different from mine, Unit 2. It was seemingly different enough from it to count as a separate creature.
Indeed, it possessed a few differences, the main one being the four eyes but also a Needle Launcher in its right shoulder pylon.
I played with it a bit inside the Evernight biosphere before dismissing it. As much fun as it was, I couldn't do much with it, and anything that I could extract from it I could get from Eva 01.
I returned to my Master's Quarter, it was time to prepare for my date with Crystal.
My faithful House Elf appeared before me. "Olky, I have a very important mission for you. Maybe the most important one I've ever given you."
Olky straightened up, almost saluting. "Olky is ready!"
"Excellent. I need your help on two points. First, you'll be assisting me while I'm cooking, you'll also be the server. And second, I need you to decorate the dining room. I want something romantic but not too much. I want Crystal to enjoy this date as much as possible."
If anything Olky straightened up even more. I could almost hear his spine popping under the strain. "Olky will do his very best for the Master's Missus."
"Excellent. Then let's get started."
Soon we were in the kitchen. I was determined to pull out all the stops. The best way I could honor the cooking skills I didn't earn was to push them to their limits. Well, with the ingredients I had access to anyway.
Instead of one main plate, I would do a multitude of small ones, two or three bites for each max. Crystal would be able to pick and choose which one she preferred.
Olky got started on preparing the ingredients, while I got to work on the first few steps of the mix of exotic and more traditional dishes I had planned. I'll be using a majority of ingredients sourced from Material Extraction complemented with more mundane ones.
Once we finished, Olky put all the dishes on a table, buffet style, and using some form of elf-magic applied a stasis spell to preserve the food at perfect temperature.
Preparing all that took a lot of work and the rest of the afternoon but I didn't regret it one bit. Then while Olky took care of the settings I got ready myself, cleaning up to remove the scent of cooking and putting on clean clothes.
At eight PM exactly I teleported in the foyer of the Pelham's home. Nobody was there so I knocked on the inside of the door.
Soon after a head emerged from a side door that I knew led to the kitchen, it was Crystal's brother, Eric.
The young man smiled and waved when he saw me.
"Hey, man good to see you." He approached me and we shook hands.
I smile at the young man. "Good evening. I hope I'm not too early?"
He shook his head. "Nah, don't worry. Crystal should be ready soon."
"Great. So, yes, in case Crystal or your parents didn't tell you, my name is Alex Crewser. It would be weird if you didn't know my name, considering she's my girlfriend."
"I still can't believe Compendium, the Hopebringer, and the Nine Slayer is dating my sister."
I hid a wince upon hearing those titles, I've seen those labels popping up in the media, and on the net since yesterday. It was at the same time flattering and overwhelming.
Eric didn't appear to notice my uneasiness and continued. "I mean I love my sister, but you could do so much better considering who you are."
My response was instinctive. "No, I don't think I could do better."
Before he could respond we both heard footsteps noise coming from upstairs and turned our heads.
It was Crystal, I watched her descend the stairs. Absently I realize that the scene couldn't be more of a cliche if we tried. As if I was about to take her to the ball. I didn't care one bit, I was mesmerized by the sight of my woman walking down the stairs. She was wearing what women would call their little black dress, though in Crystal's case, it was vibrant red. It hugged her figures in all the best ways possible.
I was so awestruck that I only started moving again when she reached the ground floor.
"God, you're beautiful."
Despite the fact that I called her beautiful each time I've seen her she still blushed upon hearing it.
She took my hand and gave me a brief kiss. "Good evening Honey."
"It's shaping up to be a very good evening indeed."
Eric's voice interrupts us. "Ugh, you two are sickening."
I chucked at his tone of brotherly disgust.
"Shut your trap, Eric. And go away." Crystal's voice was harsh, she clearly didn't appreciate having our moment cut short.
Eric only laughed. "I'm going, I'm going." He turned back toward the kitchen and said in parting. "Have a good evening you two."
Crystal huffed in exasperation before turning back toward me with a smile. "Shall we go?"
I looked around. "Your parents aren't here?"
"No, they're spending the evening with Aunt Carol and Uncle Neil again."
I shrugged, accepting that. I turned toward the wall and opened a portal to the Dungeon Master's quarter and gestured toward it. "After you."
She didn't hesitate, dragging me behind her.
Crystal was in my arms as soon as we were past the portal and we shared a passionate kiss.
When we parted, regretfully, to breathe, she snuggled against my chest.
"I missed you."
"Me too." And it was true, despite the fact that we've seen each other less than twenty-four hours ago I did miss her.
After a few more minutes of snuggling and kissing, Crystal appeared satisfied and extracted herself from my embrace, though she kept hold of my hand.
"Last time you promised me a visit, no?" Her smile was teasing.
I nodded firmly. "Absolutely." Tugging on her hand I guided her on a tour of my extradimensional home.
"For now there's not much to show, but it's more than enough for one…" I paused before I braved on and continued my phrase. "Or two people." The hooded look that Crystal gave me at those words proved that she caught my meaning.
At the moment the Master's Quarter wasn't that big but it was the size of a solid one-story house, around 200m2 but with few rooms, each one being fairly big. Crystal was particularly impressed by the size of the kitchen and how well-equipped it was. Apart from the furniture, the living room was pretty bare, I still hadn't acquired much electronics and there was no signal for a TV anyway. She didn't appear to mind it, only saying that the couch looked comfortable.
The big bath and the equally big shower in the bathroom received envious comments. When I showed her the bedroom, she didn't say anything, simply nodding. But I saw her giving a long look at the king-sized bed, looks that I refused to interpret in any way. I also valiantly ignored her swinging hips as she turned back toward me.
We ended our visit with the dining room, with only a small two-person table in the middle it appeared proportionally massive. I must say that Olky did a phenomenal job with the settings. Artfully arranged flowers decorate the corner of the rooms, white and red candles adorn the furniture, curtains drape the walls, and cushions finish settling the mood. And a bouquet of red roses and poppies stood in the middle of the table.
Crystal turned toward me with a smile. "Very, very nice. I didn't expect you to put so much work just for dinner. I appreciate it."
I shook my head in denial. "I can't claim credit for decor, I only cooked. Let me present to you Olky."
With a pop my house-elf appeared, wearing an impeccable butler uniform. "It's an honor for Olky to meet the Master's Missus."
"I'm sure that you've seen him from afar, Olky is among my oldest partners and one of those that I relied on the most. He's the one responsible for all this."
"Well, you did a fantastic job Olky. This is wonderful."
Olky colored slightly under the compliment and bowed. "Missus Crystal is too kind." He bowed before popping away.
"Excuse him, he's not the best around people."
"Don't worry, I understand." She gestured toward the buffet. "I'm curious to know what we'll be eating."
I grinned and guided her toward the table. Her wide-eyed reaction at seeing up close everything that I cooked generated a burst of pride in me.
She shot me an incredulous look. "You did all that? Today?"
"Yep, just for you." Her blush at my answer was a pleasure to see. And the kiss that followed was even better.
"Do you want to know what I cooked up? Or do you prefer it to be a surprise,"
I saw her hesitate before nodding to herself. "Tell me."
And so I did. As she listened to my explanation, her expression shifted between awe, disgust, and curiosity one after another in rapid succession.
"Well, that's something for sure."
I decided to give her an out. "I'm not forcing you, you can eat only what you're comfortable with and if it's not enough I can whip something up real quick."
Once more her expression grew determined. "No, I want to try. I trust you."
This time it was my turn to kiss her. When we came up for air, I put my forehead against hers. I spoke in a whisper. "Thank you. You won't regret it."
With nothing else to say, I gently pushed her toward the table and pulled the chair for her. Then I sat on the opposite side.
"Olky we're ready for the appetizer." The first planned dish appeared on the table.
And so our dinner started. To start things slow, I've chosen the Doctor Fish sashimi marinated with Sitrus berries juice.
"Hm, that seems normal enough. Bon appétit I guess."
I watched with anticipation as she picked up a tiny piece of fish with her fork, and put it in her mouth, chewing slowly, before swallowing. "Hmm, yes, that's very good. I didn't expect so much flavor from simple sashimi."
From there we started talking while we ate. We exchanged anecdotes about heroes' work. Despite all that happened during my short career, Crystal was much more experienced than me. She has been a heroine for a few years now, she had a wealth of advice to give me.
After the sashimi, we had a Waisrabbit terrine with Glowing Mushroom insert. Crystal was a little wary of the glowing bits but once she got a taste she ate it with gusto. It tingles in our mouths as we chew.
Things got more complicated when it came time for the quiche with Achatina's meat and Cool cheese.
"So this is snail meat?" Crystal looked extremely skeptical at the pieces of quiche being held at the end of her fork.
I swallowed my own bite before answering. "I assure you it's very good, it melts in your mouth. Think of it like that, the French eat snails on the regular, and they're the nation that invented gastronomy."
My argument didn't appear to have the impact I wanted it to but with a resigned sign Crystal did put the morsel of quiche in her mouth.
The moan that followed was extremely satisfying to hear, as was the wide-eyed look she gave me. She didn't speak a word while eating the quiche, too busy enjoying it.
Conversation resumed when we switched to the salad of Tamato Berry and tomato with a House Elf wine vinaigrette. A lighter plate to clean our palate before we move on to the main course.
The topics switched to academics. Crystal warned me that with the end-of-the-year exams coming closer she'll need to spend a lot of time in revision so she would have less time for dating. Not to say that we couldn't see each other, just that a big date wouldn't be possible for a while. I said that I didn't mind, I would be busy myself. We could have the occasional lunches together or an evening watching a movie so she could rest her brain. She smiled gratefully and squeezed my hand.
When I asked if she could make time to meet my Mom, maybe over dinner during the week, she promised to do so.
With the appetizer concluded, we moved on to the main course. The risotto with cubes of Ham mixed in was a resounding success. She was warier of the rolled Raptor filet stuffed with Leppa Berry. Not because it was dinosaur meat, she liked the idea. But because she had bad experiences with dishes that mixed salt and sugar.
However, once she tasted it, she enjoyed it thoroughly.
It was the following dish that I was anticipating the most. "As promised, here we have roasted spider legs." In truth, it was exactly a spider, it was roasted Arachno legs accompanied by french fries, but it was close enough.
Resolutely, my girlfriends soldiered on and tasted the meat. The noises of appreciation that followed were very rewarding to hear.
She flashed me a smile. "You're right it is good. It reminded me of lobsters."
While we ate the Arachno legs, I spent time extolling the virtues of my partners, and I promised her that when the occasion presented itself she would get to meet as many of them as possible.
Our last small dish for the main course consisted of a Denshark fin stew garnished with baby carrots.
After the spider Crystal had no problems eating sharks. Particularly one that didn't hurt any real shark to gather.
Then it was time for dessert. This time all four dishes were brought together.
Crystal giggled upon seeing the mint-flavored Cotton Candy, she recounted to me an anecdote from when she was eight when she visited a fair and ended up with candy in her hair after Eric pushed her accidentally. At the time it made her cry, but now she found the incident more amusing than anything.
The crepes filled with honey made her hum in pleasure. I learned that honey flavor was among her favorite sugary treats. That's definitely something that I would remember.
She liked the contrast between hot in cold in the Plum sorbet with hot caramel
But her favorite was the last one. The moan that she emitted when she tasted the White Pears covered with dark chocolate was positively sinful and made me shift in my seat.
Crystal licked her lips in delight before giving me a look. "What would it take to eat your cooking every day?"
I winked at her. "I'm sure that something can be arranged."
"I'm sure." Her seductive smile and her foot brushing against my leg made me gulp. Note to self, remember that teasing can be applied both ways and that I wasn't the most experienced at it.
With dinner concluded, we relaxed against our chairs with glasses in hand. For today I've chosen only non-alcoholic drinks, Crystal's favorite being Kiwi juice.
As we talked, about anything and everything that came to mind, I could feel a tension rising between us. Finally after a beat of silence, without a word, Crystal slowly, sensually, rose to her feet, approached me, and took my hand. The look she gave me was full of meaning.
Then she dragged me to the corridor toward my bedroom stopping in front of it. My heart was beating a mile a minute.
After taking a breath she opened the door and guided me inside.
The door closed behind us.

Yes, it's exactly what you're thinking.
Are they moving too fast? Perhaps. But they're young and horny. And they're in love, or at least they think they are. Obviously, I'll never show the actual scenes on screen so you can imagine whatever you like.
Anyway, voting.
Should Alex involve Armsmaster in the operation to free Dragon?
[] Yes, his help would be invaluable.
[] No, better to ask for forgiveness than permission.
For the roll, 220 (Banked) + 600 (Chapter) + 0 (Excess words) = 820 points.
[] Creature
[] Power
Voting will be closed Sunday at 3 PM GMT
Note 1: Concerning the Na'vi Transformation (the ability to transform into a Navi at will) rolled while Random Summoning, the powers include a mention that non-Creatures and non-Modifiers should be rerolled.
I considered having Alex gain the transformation ability for 24 hours instead. Could have been fun. But after thinking about it I couldn't find any real use for being a Navi. And I had other things planned so I rerolled. That said if it happens again I'll decide on a case-by-case basis.
Considering we've gotten Unit 2 instead, I don't regret it, it was useless but funnier.
Note 2: Do you have any ideas for civilian technologies that could be found in a luxurious gondola from Star Wars? (No droids) And I mean civilian technology we won't find lightsabers or Holocron. My knowledge of Star Wars isn't that deep, are they levitating beds, infrared ovens, or other things like that?
Note 3: I came to a partial decision concerning the language issue we've spoken about not long ago. At least for Materials that came with Creatures, Pocket Dimension, or in the gondola of the Sleft-chuff for example, it will be translated into a language spoken by the Keeper, in that case, English.
As for the languages spoken in other dimensions, I haven't decided yet.
If we go for power, we can get the last power we are missing. Namely, Summon x7. That summons 7 copies of a creature at once, only if they are smaller than 20 meters(67 feet).
This means 7 Copies of Siberian, as a single summon.
And that's quite a winning move.
Also:
[X] Yes, his help would be invaluable. But tell him that Dragon's senses are compromised, and we are going to free her, but we cannot, by any mean, tell her before we are done helping her.
To be honest, I would have thought Crystal might be somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of effort Alex put into this date leading to potential complications later on as she feels pushed forward out of obligation. But apparently she is the type who likes being treated as a princess. I can't help but wait for the other shoe to drop even if I am fairly confident their relationship won't have any major drama; it just feels far too much too fast to me. Then again, I don't feel the same about romance and relationships as the average person apparently, so my opinion likely amounts to bupkis.
Instead, I will wonder about how Dr. Yamada thinks about this development in Alex's life. Do you suppose she agrees with how liberally he uses his powers to facilitate his dates, given she advised him to start dating explicitly to give him something to focus on outside his career as a Parahuman Hero. I suppose she might consider it fine. She works with people whose powers are very much a part of their lives so Alex continuing to use his abilities might be seen as his acceptance of a new part of himself.
The beginning of this chapter interested me the most, however. It showcases what I consider an almost surprising lack of self-awareness. Of course Alex wouldn't remain rational if something happened to Crystal (by which I mean, something more drastic than "I got punched in the face by a druggie"). Alex's protectiveness is one of his defining character traits; he's fought against his own bosses for people he doesn't even know whom he feels were treated unjustly. Remember his argument with Alexandria? Or even the more recent crusade against the ABB? Not to mention his determination to protect his mother even at the cost of human lives, regardless of whether or not she's being actively targeted. I would be surprised if he didn't launch a retaliation born of revenge against any who harmed Crystal (again, significantly harmed not the average day-to-day injuries that come from superheroics). Of course, his loved ones might be able to talk him out of it; with both Alex and Panacea being close to her I expect Crystal would not remain injured for long.
Still the fact he even asks himself the question without the answer being immediately obvious to him is almost bizarre to me. 'Almost' because Alex is still a teenager and Worm protagonists are not known for their self-awareness.
Can someone remind me
1 If Arsmaster knows Dragon is an AI in this quest?
2A If we want to defeat the Dragonslayers or specifically know about Ascalon?
2B If we know about Ascalon, how did we discover it?
Can someone remind me
1 If Arsmaster knows Dragon is an AI in this quest?
2A If we want to defeat the Dragonslayers or specifically know about Ascalon?
2B If we know about Ascalon, how did we discover it?
1. He does not know. Bringing Armsmaster in on the raid will involve telling him about it as I understand things.
2A. Yes, Alex knows about the kill-switch even if I am uncertain if he knows what it is named.
2B. Knowledge of the limitations and connected console to the Personal A.I. were included when he got, I'm going to call it 'Power' since despite being a summon it really is just a digital duplicate of his own mind.
[X] Power
yay, 7/summon is impossible to miss.
[X] No, better to ask for forgiveness than permission.
While I believe having Colin around to help free Dragon from her shackles would be a great boon, that can come after securing her from the Dragonslayers and if she wants that. Sharing her secret with Colin should be her choice and would be lost if Alex recruits him to help.

@zagan What digivice do we have? Chapter 26 mentions it being a "round walkie-talkie" which would imply a D-3, but you later said we could put cards into it which is a D-Power function, and you mention healing through data which is best done with a D-Tector even though it's more commonly used with a Data Link. So I was curious if we had an all-in-1 model which would let us get up to shenanigans of digifusing Aylamon before biofusing with ourselves and then going burst mode further augmenting that with cards.

Power Roll: (820 points)
Entry Roll D3=2
700 Summon x 7, 400 Choose one (300), 600 Choose one (500)
I didn't expect you to vote for not telling Armsmaster, but that will make for some nice interaction.
As for the power vote, I think it's a formality but you've surprised me before, so we'll see.
Details:
-Summon x 7: When you summon a creature less than 20m in length or height you can summon seven of them instead of one. They only count as one creature for the purpose of your summoning limit. You can only have one creature affected at a time.
-Choose one (300): You gain one entry (creature, modifier, ability…) from any Creature Category of your choice costing 300 points or less.
You can gain this benefit any number of times.
If you already benefit from this entry at least once, you can reroll instead of choosing anything.
-Choose one (500): You gain one entry (creature, modifier, ability…) from any Creature Category of your choice costing 500 points or less.

I fully agree with you, it is fast. Part of it is that as I wrote it, it tends in this direction it fits with the way I wrote both characters since the start.
Alex is somewhat impulsive, not to say that he can't take his time when he thinks he's necessary but he decided to join the Protectorate within 24H of gaining his powers.
Crystal was flirting with Alex pretty heavily from the start and she kissed/made out with him after receiving one gift.
When you said that she liked being treated like a Princess you're pretty much spot on. I don't think it will come up in the story, but she is really flattered to have been chosen as the prospective romantic partner of the most powerful hero on the planet particularly since she's often viewed as the second New Wave girl.
While she triggered first, it's Glory Girl that's viewed as the poster child for New Wave, with Laserdream a distant second.
So pushing forward her relationship with Alex is instinctual for her, and that include the physical aspect of their relationship.
And as I said there's also the fact that both of them are attractive members of their respective sexes, both of them are young, both of them are horny. And they have access to a perfectly secure place to do so.
If they were forced to rent a hotel room or wait for one of their respective houses to be empty, they might have waited some more.
"And it needs to be real rest and relaxation. You could go out with friends, take a breath of fresh air, spend time doing things unrelated to being a hero, hell you could even try to find yourself a girlfriend."
The advice to find a girlfriend was added on at the end, almost as an afterthought. She just wants Alex to relax some.
It's just that Alex latched on that last part as the focal point upon which the rest would follow. My girlfriend's friends can become my friends, we can share activities together
As for using his power to facilitate his dates? No, I don't think she would have any problem with that. The important part was not working.
It is because he know that he probably wouldn't be rational that he doesn't want to think too much about it.
If Crystal (or is Mom) were seriously injured, the one responsible probably wouldn't live very long and it would most likely be a very painful end.
If either of those died? You can be sure that he would start a Goddam Crusade against evil across the whole world. And considering the firepower at his fingertip he may just end up as a semi-tyrannical ruler that came down harshly against anything he saw as evil.

It's not any specific model, it's honestly not very important.
As for digifusing/biofusing/whatever I won't go that route. While I like Digimon I only watched the first two seasons so my knowledge of the later powerup moves is pretty limited. And handling the multiple digivolution paths is already enough work for the Digimon I do have and any future ones.
