I should mention that the libra was specifically chosen by me due to it's link in increasing our mana reserve, and that it's something we'd have no real incentive to turn off allowing for us to passively train mana besides the obvious truth magic.

Crysmal on the other hand was just a steal for 100 points so I took it.

I doubt that shakes out. But it is an interesting theory. Likely leans too into figuring out relationships in a vacuum where they very probably didn't.
Yeah, there's too many obstacles for regular interaction between Europe and China; Magic carpet or teleportation not withstanding.
Will we get a tattoo like case 53's?

Olky muttering. "Master got magic after all."
No Olky, you literally just saw him gain Magic just now. If anything he is the first wizard, and only Floramon knows

[X] One Creature roll with 250 points and a Power roll with any leftover plus 100 point

Any ideas on what the other forms for libra are. the example of the fly mentioned an animal companion and a staff modifier in addition to direct application to one's person will the other cards act similarly

Edit: suggestions for libras extra forms are a floating set of scales or scales on the staff

The wiki describes this magical concept construction as representing Truth Magic, so at it's peak it might do discount Ace Attorney shenanigans. Granted, the assumption is we will have the energy to both attempt this and maintain it.

edit: Instead of bad feelings, it might return a more nuanced prognosis like: lie, half-lie, half-truth, truth. As in a range of potential possibilities.

You know here's a question about unhindered movement. Even if we assume that us moving is a requirement what is to stop it from having a creature move in the same direction as us making sure we both completely overlap with each other so anyone has to target our summon and not ourselves?

Why would get a tattoo?

That's exactly it, if physically summoned The Libra manifest as a floating set of scales.

That can work yes, but he still needs to breathe so he must come out periodically, still, it's a possible defense.

Just to informe you that i've got trouble with my internet accès at home. I am unable to write currently. Using my Phone to sens this. My apology.

Okay, so I'm back using a 4G box lent to me by my operator. I will try to have the chapter out today. I did manage to write a little yesterday in Words, thank you for your support.

Chapter 39: Starbound Bundle
[x] One Power roll with 350 points

Power Roll: (350 points)
Roll, D100=66 200 Random Gain
Roll, D40=3 Avatar D84=73 100 Tiger seal
Cost 100 points or less reroll until you gain another 100 points or less
Roll, D40=36 Starbound D85=12 50 Electric Crutter
As our first Starbound creature we also gain all the ship pets
Banked 150 Points

Technically the roll wasn't very profitable because we gained a 100-point creature and a 50-point creature for 200 points. But with the 7 ship pets from our first Starbound creature, I don't think we can complain.

What I'm gonna do is bundle the Tiger seal with Deer Dog and Koala sheep gained by RookDeSuit because they all come from Avatar.
And separately I'll bundle the Crutter (I've chosen the Rare variant because it seems more PR-friendly than the normal one that uses poison) with all the ship pets.

Of note the ship pets cannot perform any offensive action, they are purely passive creatures as such they don't have a weapon form. (And that way that's seven weapon form I don't need to create)

At the end of my console period, I submitted a report on what I gained today and also sent a request to the PR department mentioning Olky's specific needs regarding a costume, and one of my Minds remembered to ask about Floramon too.

Before leaving I put the Phoenix Down with a note detailing its effect in a box and left it with Triumph who was replacing me at the Console. And I ask him to give it to Armsmaster.

After that, it was time to head home. Olky proved able to follow me easily without being seen. While on the bus one mind announced that it found something interesting.

I was playing with the previsualization function of the toy-making power and discovered that we can use our various transformation powers with it. Making toy weapons, Clockwork plushies, Plants puppets or Night Sky dolls, and they can even all be combined together. Let me tell you a Clockwork Nightsky Plants Gatling gun is F-king weird to look at, even as a toy. And it should work for real too.

Once home I greet Mom while Olky waits outside. He said that he's always able to hear me call his name, so I'll just call him when I explain the situation to Mom.

"Mom, I need to introduce you to my newest partners. He's a little different but very nice. I'm sure you'll like him."

"Very well son, if you want. The little cactus guy you presented to me last time was a delight."

"Okay, don't be surprised. Olky, please come in."

My house-elf appeared before me. It startled Mom a little but she composed herself quickly.

"Mom, may I present to you Olky the house-elf? Olky this is my mom, Claire Crewser."

Olky bowed deeply. "Olky is very pleased to meet you, madam. Olky is your son's new butler. What can Olky do first?"

Mom throws an inquisitive look and I nod. She hesitates a little but responds in the end.

"Well, I was going to cook dinner. You can help if you want."

Olky nods eagerly. "Olky would be very pleased. What were you planning to make?"

I let Olky and Mom attend to their cooking. I had a long day and wanted to forget about the world so I decided to play games until dinner was ready.

I quickly discovered that any game that requires reflex becomes much easier with multiple minds concentrating on it at the same time.

When I returned to the kitchen for dinner I found Mom and Olky happily trading recipes.

Dinner was simple but delicious that evening. We ate pasta with a sauce made of butter and parmesan accompanied by citrus glazed ham.

The only bemol was that Olky refused to eat with us, saying that it wasn't his place. I tried to insist but he wouldn't budge. Perhaps another time.

When it was time to sleep I offered to unsummon him but he said that wished to stay and used that time to tidy up the house. Knowing that I wouldn't be able to convince him otherwise I let him do it and simply informed him that he could sleep on the couch or make himself a place in our attic.

I was afraid that I would have a hard time going to sleep, either because of the fish in my ear or because of my multiple minds but no, I was out as soon as my head touched my pillow.

Sadly I was woken up early when I felt the Menagerie activating with three new creatures.

I'll check it out, focus on getting ready/Okay/Zzzzz.

One mind is still sleeping? That's possible?/Seems so./Zzzzz.

We can use that if the resting period counts./Yes, pseudo-Noctis cape. But we still need to get ready./Zzzz.

With one mind focused on our power, one taking care of our morning business, and one sleeping I start getting ready for the day.

When I reached the kitchen I found Olky putting the finishing touch on breakfast and a bemused mom looking on with a coffee in hand. The table was covered with food, fresh bread, omelet, fruit juice, milk, jam, toast, and even cheese. I'm pretty sure that we didn't have all that in stock but I'll chalk it up to magic and not question it.

A proud house-elf approached me. "Breakfast is served, Master"

It was indeed a delicious breakfast, while eating it my mind that focussed on our power made his report.

So we gained three creatures. All three seem to be a hybrid of two animals. A dog with deer antlers, a sheep with a koala head, and a seal with a tiger head. And I can't feel any power from them. But I already tested their senses and it's very good. The dog gave enhanced smell as expected but even better the sheep-koala expanded our peripheral vision.

I activated both and it was indeed impressive. The delicious smell of breakfast was nearly overwhelming and having a field of view so large was nearly as bad.

Don't focus on it, I'll take care of it./Okay, I'll just enjoy the food then./Hu, what?

While eating I proceed to explain what happened to my third mind that just woke up.

I had a patrol scheduled this morning so when it was time to get to work, my destination was directly the Rig. Just as I was about to take the door, Olky spoke up.

"Olky can apparate master directly to its office if he wishes."

I turn back toward Olky. "You can do that? Transport yourself and me all the way to the Rig."

He appeared affronted that I would doubt it. "Olky can do so easily, Master."

"Very well, let me just warn some people."

I quickly called the operator on the Rig, at this hour a simple PRT agent, and got the go-ahead to try.

This was how I found myself in my office less than a minute later, a little disoriented and light head but otherwise fine. I quickly reported my safe arrival.

"Thank you very much Olky. If you want you to have my permission to wander in the Rig to familiarize yourself with it. I warned people yesterday, but if anyone asks you tell them you're with me. Ah, and of course do not enter a private room without permission."

Olky bowed and popped away.

Okay, I got half an hour before my patrol, I used that time to summon my daily materials from my unusable summons. And I also need to have my first meeting with Buoy to take him on patrol with me today.

Just in case I move to the training room. Without ceremony, I summoned my humanoid jellyfish.

Seeing it for real reveal it was around 1,2m tall, but looks taller because it floats around 30cm above the ground. It has light blue skin, tree tentacles in place of legs, two that serve as arms, and a spherical bald head. It was looking at me curiously. I could see some spark of intelligence in his eyes.

"Hello. I'll be naming you Buoy if that's alright with you. Can you understand me? Can you talk?"

It floats closer to me and emits a soft trilling sound. But it was some sort of language because Babel, still in my ear, gives me a translation.
"Trainer?"

"Trainer, yes I suppose that's fitting enough. We'll be working and training together."

Another trill and a smile. "Happy!"

So it could communicate but mostly with simple concepts. I then asked him to demonstrate its power, Water gun was a moderately strong pulse of water, Poison sting works exactly as the name indicated and because the two others' Move necessitates a living target I summoned Clockwork White to serve as a target. That way he could heal himself afterward.

After the customary chin scratch, he accepted to serve as a living target dummy. Absorb proved to work, apparently sapping life energy or something like that but was pretty weak and White barely felt it. Even after three consecutive uses it barely phased him and the healing drone healed him completely.

I then asked Buoy to use it on me. He was a little reluctant but finally accepted.

It wasn't a very pleasant feeling, and I did feel weaker afterward but nothing life-threatening. I deemed that move nonlethal and usable on human targets unless they were already critically wounded.

Seeing that I still had a few minutes, I decided to summon my giant lion/tiger because I want to see it for real.

Between two blinks I found myself looking up at my biggest creature so far. It really looked like a lion/tiger hybrid but with a squished face, four protuberant fangs, and a long multicolored tail.

I didn't dare move as it approached me, his eyes were bigger than my head. When it was only a few centimeters from me he sniffed me.

Intellectually I knew that all my previous creatures have never harmed me and that I could always order him to not attack, one of my minds was on the verge of doing so. But seeing a predator that could bite me in half so close to me, made some deeply buried instincts rise from the deep of my DNA.

When he opened his mouth I nearly had a heart attack, but he simply licked my whole face.
Not a pleasant feeling because it was textured like sandpaper, better than being eaten. He then plops down, puts his head on his front paws, closes his eyes, and starts purring a storm making the whole room vibrate.

Once I managed to slow my heart down, I realized that it was time to join Miss Militia for my patrol. Just as I was about to exit the training room I was submerged by an avalanche from the Menagerie. Six, seven no eight creatures!!! This was unprecedented, three earlier and now eight.

Let us look into it./Yeah, you got five additionals minds./We'll take care of it./Thanks, guys.

With my other Minds busy with that I approached the door again, but I hesitated, I already knew that I would bring White and Buoy with me and Olky would follow of course, but could I bring….what name did I settle on in the end?

Rainbow/Ah, yes thank you.

Could I bring Rainbow on patrol? He was the size of a minibus after all.

[] No he's too big.

[] Yes, people need to get used to my creatures.

[] Ask Miss Militia.

Wordcount: 1749

After a good remark, I renamed our Frillish to Buoy.

For two chapters in a row, we gained 200 points.

[] One Creature roll with 350 points

[] One Power roll with 350 points

[] One Creature roll with 250 points and a second Creature roll with any leftover plus 100 point

[] One Creature roll with 250 points and a Power roll with any leftover plus 100 point

[] One Power roll with 250 points and a second Power roll with any leftover plus 100 point

[] One Power roll with 250 points and a Creature roll with any leftover plus 100 point

Voting will be closed Friday at 1 PM GMT

Side note: Update the CM to version 3.1 because the new DLC from Ark came out. At the same time removed Demimeramon and Pippismon from the Digmon category because they're not Rookie, and changed the cost for Tropeognathus to 100, Crysmal to 200, and House-Elf to 300.

[X] Ask Miss Militia.
That is legitimately the right answer

We have a giant kitty! It is going to get all the pets. Going for two power rolls because we really need the powers that help us get more control over what we get from rolls

Edit-

[X] One Power roll with 350 points
There are several 200 powers we want first (enlarged dice, increased gain and roll twice) so going for the 2 rolls makes us more likely to hit on one of them

He's taking a nap, but also, Inb4 he follows us outside( as cats do) via teleportation.
