[X] Flubber: You gain complete immunity to blunt damage.

@zagan iirc Monster Hunter monsters have some kind of organ that allows for "bioenergy" or magic, if we get a Monster Hunter creature could we equip that to up his magic?

Wait we will summon Flubber to meet and greet at least once right?

fall damage means blunt damage

as do vehiacle acidents

IRL its the most comon type of damage a person suffers

like the one hard part with armor is blunt weapons bypassing the armor

piercing damage can be stopped with kevlar, and slashing damage with metal, blunt damage is the hardest to stop

it's by far the best choice

As amazing as an immunity is I do want to summon Flubber also no idea how this would effect Material Extraction @zagan would we be able to use this and still get materials?

Hmm I guess if we're going for a creature we never summon it would probably be the Pyrobat since the others are useful for material extraction or in the pegasi's case one of our mounts.

Material extraction is not an obstacle to Equip Trait, the trait work as long as the creature it belong to is not currently summoned. Using Material Extraction does not count as it being summoned, it only counts as if it was summoned (so once per day).
For example, I considered the Death Tome, for its innate levitation ability but we have multiple ways to fly.

Wait. Could we take a power granted trait? Like sine we are the only ones that can control our summons, can we take that trait? So that we can no longer be mastered?
No, only innate and passive traits. A pokemon ability would work, its types too but not its moves. (but pokemon are far to useful to not be summoned).

I'll need more details to decide, details, links?

Of course. We only need a limited amount of flubber (as an item, not a being) for our prospective generator anyway.

So many good uses in material Flubber can provide the generator is one definitely also just applying that to the armor of any Cape would give them both a solid defense but also probably the best shock absorbers we can provide and that's just scratching the surface.

immunity to blunt damage is hard to beat

honestly, he could rake a thin layer of spider silk and be bulletproof, add some wires of his extracted metal and he is immune to cutting

blunt damage immunity also means super strength, as you can pinch with enough force to shatter your hand bones, like that guy from Durarara!

Yeah, immunity to a broad damage type is way too good to pass over

one way to pass smart skin is to make a free enhancement for the protectorate and PRT, using it in the eardrums makes you immune to hearing loss,

give it to people in the protectorate that work with explosives, diver teams, and people who work with guns, then give it to the protectorate so that their civilian IDs are without suspicion

also works with all case 53s and open heros

imunity to hearing loss is great

i dont think the dalons would take it , but the phehems might

5 uses for smart skin

1. give people permanent immunity to deafness by adding a small bit of smart skin to the eardrum (which is a part of the skin as an organ)

2. make tiger style a valid martial art, since it takes almost no time and does concentrate the force of the

3. use the sign from one piece as an actual technique

4. add smart skin on the toes so you can kick without worrying about your toes

5. apply the skin in the shape and patterns of kinesiology tape to maximize the enhanced strength with minimal use of the skin for maximum strength enhancement (also it looks super cool)

20 uses for Adams's wood

1. make wooden knives out of it that can be better than conventional knifes

2. cut it finely and glue it with the wood grain in different directions to make it tougher

3. extract the cellulose to make paper

4. extract the lignin to make the most powerful glue you currently possess

5. extract the fibers from the wood to make indestructible cellulose fabric

6. use Adams wood with swarm to make an instant pasilade wall around a target

7. use in combination with baby form and use the seeds to make manton-protected bullets or any first part of the tree

8. use in combination with swarm to stop a manton-protected shaker

9. use an arrow made of it as a hypersonic artillery projectile

10. cut the bark finely and make it into basketry that could be used as bulletproof armor or as resistant shields or containers

11. use it as support for a building the same way we use steel rebar

12. make tools out of it for the PRT to use

13. use smart skin on the tips of your fingers and train in figer style kung fu, hit your fingers into a piece of Adams wood until you can claw it

14. use it to make indestructible pykrete

15. use it to make a film that won't degenerate over time

16. create air filters for gas masks

18. make it into nail polish for case 53 and heroines that cant use normal nail polish

19. as a cheval de frise to stop riots and large armies

20. make very expensive musical instruments that can double as a melee weapon

how make indestructible wire

  • step 1) use material extraction to get a fresh, still-living skin
  • step 2) have parian make it onto a thin skin tread
  • step 3) apply the silver skin to it
  • step 4) congratulations you have a tread of silver skin that can be used by Alexandria on endbringers as a garote wire

So Mickeys Smart Skin doesn't count because it's not an innate trait to the animal?

hell probably says no, silver skin is almost always lethal if you don't have a single spot where your skin was covered in metal, in buleteers case her wedding ring saved her from it, but it would likely be lethal to him, he could however maybe gain the ability to impart smart skin on others

No, only innate and passive traits. A pokemon ability would work, its types too but not its moves. (but pokemon are far to useful to not be summoned).

-Equip Traits: At any time you can choose to equip ONE trait from one of your creatures to yourself.
You can only equip a trait from a creature not currently summoned.
A trait can be a body part, limb, internal organ, skin, or others. It can be characteristic such as immunity to poison, resistance to fire, or the ability to absorb sunlight. It can also be more esoteric such as magic reserve, knowledge of a subject, or skill with a weapon.
You can use this ability at will but only ONE trait at a time.

Sorry for quoting this again, but it just occurred to me you could take Alyamon's innate physical structure as a trait, by that I mean you could be made of physical data like a Digimon is right? If I'm wrong that's okay, just thought it could help against any biological powers like Echidna and Nilbog, since Panacea herself proved she couldn't affect Alyamon at all. Nilbog beware, Compendiumon is coming for you!

I groaned internally at the thought, desperately hoping for a power that would make paperwork easier.
Was rereading the tournament chapter and found this snippet after Alex got One of Each the last time, he must be glad he has Aggretsuko now huh?
