Honestly I really don't like the constant hunt for a Silver Bullet that this all has kinda devolved into. I mean, this is Worm so I suppose such things should be expected, but man I miss the days when each new summon was a big deal. I suppose it just gives me something new to strive for as I plan and plot out CM stories of my own.

We have over 100 summons so a lot of the smaller ones just dont move the meter anymore outside of those that can talk, or stuff like getting more of the cards from card captor.

That's what I feel like every single day a new chapter comes out. Vote Creature? Nope. Void Stalker in particular and co. blab on and on about how we should vote power to clear them out and save points to we're 500+. What's that? That's not good enough? Let's try to go 800 or better yet 1000. That's where the silver bullet lies. Those are the only Creatures that matter. Everything else is trash.
Nothing is about fun anymore.
Nevermind that we had to fight to get the trainshark, a ducking cool Creature with an awesome power, it can't 1 shot an Endbringer let alone Scion so it's garbage.
Let's all conveniently forget that QM declared that such Creatures could potentially end the Quest. 1000 pointers would 1 shot the Quest for sure. We MUST minmax the ending as soon as possible and damn the consequences.
Come to enjoy cool Creatures? Pfft as if! What do you think this is a Creature Quest? Bugger off!

Any attempt at 800 or worst 1000 might get us a silver bullet at some point. And I don't trust the Questers to not choose an immediate end.
Since we got Debt I've been scared will get a 1000 pointer and get an Entity and everyone will jump that bandwagon.
The enjoyment of this Quest is the Creatures and the thrills along the way. The way these people have been voting we might not have either soon.

What 'meter' are you looking at?
Cuz I have been looking at the exploration of our new Creatures and seeing how they interact buuut the story keeps pumping into the Endgame meter...

Sounds like a metaphor on the quantity of discussion each creature generates, and he has a point. It's this awkward meta issue where for Watsonian and Doylist reasons a lot of us thirst for higher end beings. Watsonian: Compendium is only able to employ so many summons at once, so finding a reason to employ everyone gets difficult. It's a testament to Alex's creativity if he can employ everyone in-universe for a day, but there are reasons where that might be a bad idea. Doylist: This world is particularly fraught, so the idea is better to have a 'nuke' on hand than not at all.

Conversely, the thread also runs into the issue where there's not enough or no discussion about potential creatures Compendium can gain. This leads to situations like the Minecraft Armor where the thread bemoans it's choices, but small discussion or someone pings our QM could have explained or made a ruling.

And now I feel like we are Cauldron for letting the fun fall by the wayside to just hyperfocus on the ends rather than the means...
 
After much debate, I really like that, the winner is "Do not use Debt and keep points."

I think someone changed its vote at the last moment because when I checked this morning Hippogriff was winning by one vote. A little surprising but okay that's fair. More points for next time.
 
Would anyone be willing to help me find illustrations for armors based on our partners?
I just spent 2 hours searching for a good image to use for Bruce's armor. With little to show for it.
The most urgent would be for him (basically any armor that really gives off a shark look, lots of teeth notably.)
I want to avoid armor from Monster Hunter because I want to reserve those for when we do get a Monster Hunter creature.

Here's a list of the ones I would like the most. Don't hesitate to go heavy into Sci-Fi/fantasy/impractical armor the cool factor is the most important thing. Video games (Wow, diablo, etc...), manga (saint Seiya?), movies, fan art, etc...

Stainless Fal-Swo (futuristic with wings and jet)
Deathbringer (a lot of guns)
Cactuar
Floramon
Sphoeroid
Gold Slime (any slimelike armor will do, color can be modified)
Frillish (ideally with a diving helmet)
Goliath (spandex a la batman)
Zouwu (lot of furs)
Crysmal
Atlas (this one should be easy, insect armor is pretty popular)
Shadowmere (skyrim assassin set perhaps?)
Pegasi (literally the armor from Saint Seiya?)
Denshark (see above, don't bother about the train parts, shark is enough, hell I'll take fish at this point)
Skorch (candle armor?)
Princess

If you find good images for some others don't hesitate.
