Now, obviusly, we will eventually compliment any loadout with tech (Thinking 2 bracers of sheilding to work together and interact with our spiderbot among other things. makes my rasoning about chosing a weapon with a sheild form weaker, but not irelevant. The brasers interact with each other and also make for terrible bashing weapons. But the ability to project a sheild infront of you when the knock your sheild out of the way... there are cool things you can do with sheild emitters, just saying.)

[x] Arachno: A pistol that throws nets made of webs
being creepy is no issue, we are the creature compendium, just plaing up the animal part is fine from a pr view. And atleast it's not Mastering people, that has bad rep

can we summon and switch weapon forms? becouse if we can, i would acctually sugest going with

-Crysmal: One Atlatl that can throw a crystal spear once per minute. Also, grant the use of the Crysmal offensive power (Control Object, Control Sound, Mind Thrust, Ego Whip).
for actuall combat against capes. Don't remember the exact limits of control sound and object, and although i seem to remember mind thrust and ego whip being good against brutes as they essentially bypass most brute and changer powers
or even a combination of Arachno an
-Slurg: Glue Grenade
it's worse than simply using capture foam, but it would be a brand thing, and wouldn't effect the budget. tinkertech granades, even the cheapest ones, ain't free.
Seeing how i only have a list of ranged weapons here, i also include

-Tigerdillo: A shield and a clawed gauntlet.
for if they manage to close the distance. Good for protecting ourself while maintaining offensive capabilities.

So yeah. It makes sense to ofthen show our most prevalent weapons so people associate them with us, and i want these four to be our main loadout if we can swap back and forth. This i belive cover most ranges and situations (except for when we need to go artillery, but that is s rare that we probably shouldn't have a standard loadout weapon for artillery strikes.)
Atlatl for serius ranged combat, granade for indirect fire, neet for capture and midranged, with a last holdout

Edit
[X] Creature
[X] Ysalamir

Call me paranoid but when you have an option to have the Anti-Master weapon on at all times my answer will always be "YES PLEASE"!
or we can have him summoned at all times, rather than have the ability to shoot antimaster bullets

Oh, and
[x] Creature

for something to completely toss out all my reasoning about the loadout.

Would tune count as telekinesis since her power work by leaving a mark first and what about Skidmark marks what class of power that count as?

We can but it means either dismissing the previous creatures used as a weapon and not having access to it until the next day. Or transform it back into a creature, which might not always be practical.
Right now we're choosing the default weapon we have on patrol, something that fits in our pocket, a holster, or a sheath. Something that could be useful in a lot of situation.

Yes, but Ysalamir is a 50cm lizard, yes we could have it cling to our back or on our shoulder, but it's not very practical. It's why he's being considered as a weapon so we would always be inside the anti-master bubble.

Rune wouldn't be able to control a marked object inside the bubble, but could eventually mark one for later.
Skidmark wouldn't be affected because his field only imparts speed he doesn't control the items.

while i honnestly think Arachno is by far the best weapon of the choises picked out, it is also our best source for a "surprisingly warm silk" for our costume. I am now hesitating. that is a good material for making shit with... can we put down a switch in a week? Becouse i do want our weird warm silk uniform, and use it for pading in any tool we make that will get strapped to us, but i also think it's a great weapon...

if i understood correctly, it is bit of a shame that we can't weapon cycle the weapons... (withouth having to carry the spare summons as beasts when not in weapon form, making the othervice fairly usefull glue granade into a usles and cumbersome slugg)

At the speed I write one more week will only come in 30 or 40 more chapters, by that point the situation is probably so different that It's impossible to anticipate.
If Archano wins as a weapon, we will still be able to harvest silk on the day we don't patrol. It's less per week but with his size, one day of manual production (instead of just material extraction) will give a sizable amount of silk.

right, had totally forgotten that you allow them to produce materials manually that doesn't disappear. Somehow i assume that anything they produced manually disappeared with them to make extraction more valuble...

Edit: Having the spider summoned at the times it's not a weapon makes extra since from a pr perspective aswell...

Hey @zagan what are all the methods you know of that the Menagerie provides for the Resurrection of others?
On the top of my head, some creatures from D&D have access to True Ressurection, notably the metallic dragon. A number of creatures give access to time travel if you count that as resurrection, Celebi from pokemon for example. Speaking of pokemon Ho-oh could it if the death is recent, and transforming them in pokemon. Shenron from dragon ball in the various category. The phoenix force from marvel could probably do it. in ben 10 the Celestial sapient certainly.
Certainly a few other but nothing else comes to mind right now.

if we summon it to make silk it would be inside the PRT building or the protectorate base, no need for the public to see it.

You know speaking of Pokemon would Jirachi work with his whole Wish Granting thing?

I turned around to check on Buoy, trying to ignore the muttering around me. My pokemon was already getting up. He was looking a little dejected by his loss but didn't seem vengeful.
He's a good sport despite everything.

A baseball bat clashes heavily with our costume persona, it's a thug weapon.

It's not that bad, but I guess there's merit in not looking like we're with the mafia.

[X] Scrutin: A stone gun that fire mana bolt

I thought about the arano web gun. Our first summon was the Spider-bot, so a gun would be like our webbing. However, I figure clean-up will be terrible, and it wouldn't compliment our suit.

@zagan
I've been thinking about the scrutin's weapon form. Doesn't it's regular body lend itself more to a crossbow shape blaster. Like Chewy's plasma caster but stone?

It could work yes, but you need to word your wish carefully.

You can think of it as a cross between a gun and crossbow yes.
