Dunno, being happy is kind of gay.
This sounds like the next arc is going to be Taylor trying to sell something cool that she made herself, Okada thinking that her mother made it or stole it from the family and her "family" thinking the same and looking for trouble with Taylor.I could probably use Mrs Okada to approach them, and they would just assume I had stolen the research data from one of their competitors.
Still surprised that she hasn't had her Shard develop the ability to grow them internally and without surgery. Still, once she does have them I suppose she could have the Shard develop auto-regeneration so they don't have to be replaced.Going through the deceased Scavs was pretty quick, and I had already acquired for myself two sets of high-quality polymer arteries.
And that is most definietly the probem with making humans super without making them better first.

I don't this is going to be quite as simple as you're expecting, Taylor, given-With all of the chemistry equipment I had been buying and making lately, though, I could push forward with my plan to sell my intellectual property to a biotech firm. I could probably use Mrs Okada to approach them, and they would just assume I had stolen the research data from one of their competitors.
-this. Oh well, gotta escalate somehow!Wakako hummed in thought. There was no telling the number of things that she might have received from her father, so that wasn't really unusual. She was more concerned about anything left behind by her mother.
jackie
damn fucking right motherfucker big
yes here's hoping we get more interaction with him like her just calling him to see if he liked the car or just her being the one to find him and patch him up after he got shot like i wanna say 9 times but I might be thinking fiddy? How many times did Jackie get shot? the one that prompted him to quit the Valentino's and start the merc life.Yes, it is Jackie. One of the other boys calls him that too when they run away at the end of that interaction.
If you're referencing the event Mama Wells brings up during the "Heros" sidequest (which should definitely been a main quest) then he catched 3 bullets, one very close to his heart. How many times did Jackie get shot? the one that prompted him to quit the Valentino's and start the merc life.
While interesting that same last name doesn't mean she's related to Gloria or David. Just look at all those Millers or Smiths.Bit of a partial crosspost here, but I thought some of you might be interested in a neat coincidence.
Jackie's ex before Misty was called Camila. There's nothing really on her.
But, in "The World of Cyberpunk 2077", under the Valentinos section (p172), listed among prominent members, is one 'Camila Martinez'.
yep thanks cant believe i mix up Jackie with fiddy damnIf you're referencing the event Mama Wells brings up during the "Heros" sidequest (which should definitely been a main quest) then he catched 3 bullets, one very close to his heart.
Straight Taylor is sadge... But besides you ruining my fanon with facts and logic great chapter. Keep up da good work and Happy Holidays.
For people native to Night City which is not Taylor. Why must every person be gay or fluid? This is Night City. You can do a full gender swap in under a week, completely change your everything to match any preference.
There's no Straight or Gay. There's only "I like that personality" and "I like these types of bits". Because everything, even a personality, can be changed.
InCluSioN, of course. Because despite the fact that less than a quarter (in fact, probably around 10-15%) of people are anything other than straight, it is apparently homophobic to not have your characters engage in LGBTQ+ relationships. Sure, it is completely normal for any person or character to be LGBTQ+, it is equally if not more normal for them to be straight; and people don't seem to get that. For people native to Night City which is not Taylor. Oh no! A mild over representation of a minority group in one small corner if the internet!InCluSioN, of course. Even when you go outside the social sphere, if you look into fanfiction and LitRPG stories (two of my main preferences for fiction), and areas dedicated to those types of story, you find a large number of people that complain about non-lgbt characters. It isn't that I can complain about how many lgbt characters there are in these stories, it is that people complain when people AREN'T gay.Oh no! SV is very much an outlier in that regard. Wander outside of its social sphere and suddenly LGBTQ+ characters are few and far between. SV's representation can be attributed to it's population of LGBTQ+ people, which is notably higher than other websites of a similar size, which biases the content accordingly.
If you're somehow starved for straight characters, well try looking around, they're not rare in the slightest.
People also complain when characters are gay. Quite a lot actually. So fair's fair eh?Even when you go outside the social sphere, if you look into fanfiction and LitRPG stories (two of my main preferences for fiction), and areas dedicated to those types of story, you find a large number of people that complain about non-lgbt characters. ....wow you got that from my comment. Not everything is a conspiracy or agenda.InCluSioN, of course. I've seen both honestly. Like people genuinely angry that a character wasn't LGBTQ+. But the second one, people angry because a character is LGTBQ+ is far more common in my personal experience.I've never seen anyone complain about characters not being LGBT. I've seen disappointment, but never anger.
I have however seen many people outright upset that characters are LGBT. it's gonna be the way it is in fiction.
Is there a creative writing site, fanfiction or original, that doesn't have plenty of stories with bi or gay characters? It's hardly a minority of stories and hasn't been for a long time.Oh no! A mild over representation of a minority group in one small corner if the internet!

As for complaining? I'm with the crowd that doesn't like changing an established characters preferences. At most I'll role my eyes if happens in fanfiction and continue reading if the story is good but absolutely hate it if it's done to an established character in a comic, book or a show.
I'm not talking about "everyone in NC" I'm talking about Taylor who is canonically straight based on her choice of partner and word of god. "Everyone" includes Taylor. It's less "everyone must be gay or fluid" and more "Did you not research the setting?"
