Since Zavok left, does that mean if we aquire a large portion of the territory, we will get the second action locked behind defeating Zavok? Technically we defeated him and forced him out of green hills.

Question. Why does the resistance get a free pass to gain territory on Zavok this turn while he countered ours? if this is all happening simultaniously i don't understand why the resistance gets that free crit when we picked the same option at the same time and got hit for it.

I think this one going to depend how much we take.
Luckily we have two Power Actions per turn and can expand from two different directions. So Whisper at least would not mess with the territory around our hidden base at least or soon to be public base.

Because it is all happening at the same time. The Restoration didn't know that Zavok was fucking off, they launched his plan expecting heavy resistance and instead ran into a couple eggpawns and maybe a buzzbomber squad.
We didn't decide "well the Restoration will see this and take advantage!" we have set actions each group can take and The Restoration was always going to take this action this turn, regardless of what Zavok did.

I guess we were unlucky enough to run into Zazz in our action to expand territory when he was conducting scorch earth tactics.

This was commented on discord but Zavok's actions wetre planned sincde turn 5 started, way before you guys made the plan and vote, same as the other actions of the factions.
You guys might not think so but Zavok has been taking a beating each turn aside from xhor nat 100 with selvaria, he wss losing too many resoruces too fast, you guys taking 2 of his hero units did not help. at all
He has been fighting a war in effectively 4 sides...and losing badly.
The Restoration also took to expand Territory, same as you. Zavok sadly only was able to respond to one attempt against other faction expansion, Zazz and the egg hammers was all he had to spare.
It was between the restoration or Eggman, he chose Eggman cause of Spite. That's why, the restoration didn't found any resisatnce cause aside from Zazz against conquering storm, the rest were being set for his burning land tactic

which like, you can see how that looks like it kinda feels like the resistance getting to cheat the system by abusing turn order while it should all happen at once.

I know, sorry if we didn't explain the results correctly, that's on us and our ability to write it.
But all Actions, from yours to the rest, happens at the same time during the same period of time. The reason we don't hint to much at the actions of the rival factions is that we don't roll for them until afteryour results are posted, it's kind of hard tohint something and risk the dice fucking it up.
But trust us that literally all your actions and zavok, gun and he restoration happen during the same period, just that you learn of them all right at once isntead of one by one like if it was in IRL

The virus would be destroyed, we should reestablish control of the Eggnet automatically thanks to Sage. We just need to broadcasts recall signal for our badniks to come to Egg City and we are golden, Starline even did this onto the Comics as part of his gambit.
