The guy's corportation has a hand in all the citie's business, pretty sure he can recoups his losses one or two turns.
It's not the money itself that helps the summoning. Human money is basically worthless to demons.

What matters is the emotion attached to the money. All the effort it took to obtain, the greed the person sacrificing it feels, etc.

so just thinking, I remember reading a story once where somebody summoned a demon and tried to sacrifice a person to it, but the demon rejected the sacrifice because that persons life meant absolutely nothing to the summoner.

from what I'm hearing it sounds like SMT demons work like that?

If I understand it right, it is like that.

Goji has to sacrifice something that has meaning for him to get this demon pacts. Money is the big attachment he has as a example.

Sort of. The key is energy. Usually emotional.

If, say, all the human sacrifices were put to sleep before being killed, they'd be worth significantly less, because they don't feel anything. But if they're awake and feeling lots of fear, anger, etc. then they're worth a lot more because of all the emotional energy they're generating.

Demons feed on that energy. It nourishes them and makes them stronger. It's not the only way for them, but it's the easiest.

If Goji were to sacrifice his whole life's work, say burning the whole city down or something, that would be worth a whole lot of emotional energy. He could summon one hell of a demon off that.

Incidentally, this is implied to be the reason important characters in SMT can summon new powerful demons in high stress situations. All the emotions they're putting out acts as a beacon for powerful demons.

We did pay, this is a pro bono job they took for themselves to warn Maria about Eggman.

We trick them to work for us again, I imagine Espio has a big "I told you so" moment. At least Eggman pay them this time.
I say we just be upfront with them. Tell them we want them to do a normal, non evil job for lots of money. They'll crack.

Pretty sure Rouge would give them a secret message, cause as we saw in the rescue with Chuck she doesn't trust us.
maybe? it's hard to say. I could definitely see her not wanting them to know so they actually get the job done, and if she really wanted to get a message to the chaotix she could just go talk to them, we don't control her personal actions she can do whatever she wants. hell she could probably just call them whenever without even needing an action (assuming they had enough money to pay their bills for the month)

We should probably let the Chaotix recover for a bit. Not like we need them for anything at the moment.

I have this idea that they would show up on their office as Stix, maybe from Boom mayne not, and Charmy have adventure when Vecotr and Espio were away in the adventure.

That nvolve a lot of things and culminate in Vector's car damaged, as the Crocodile mourn his car Espio has gone for the kill. The medical bills combined with the car repair mwaning allheir money is gone so they are once again on the red.
