So get thunderbolt turn 3 or 4 and then try to hack eggnet?

No, because Paestol is another Hero Unit at time limit and some people want Majima so any vote in Turn 4 will have to include him. After that we recruit Nephtys or Thunderbolt, whatever comes firts and since both are autopasses we need to not send a Hero to recruit them.

Let's maybe not. Thunderbolt does not play well with others. I say, if we're still recruiting, we should maybe go with a mystic unit. Cover our bases and all that. Though, I would like to recruit Majima myself. Get us some criminal contacts and give us some options to create front businesses to gain resources secretly.

Also, are we committing to staying on the down low for now? As long as Shadow and who knows who else is running around, that might be a good call. Building up in secret and only going loud once we're strong enough.

Thunderbolt in this quest is a native of Games/IDW since Starline don't mention her status as a former Egg Boss and in her brief confrontation to a GUN soldier she mention they were destroyed by the doctor, something that didn't happen in Post-SGW and her character picture is a custom outfit made to resemble the doctor's own modern style, not her Egg Boss outfit that resemble his classic version in Archie comics, she has no cybernetics and her equipment looks custom made in a low budget.

So this Thunderbolt may have a similar personality than her Archie comics coutnerpart but much like Games/IDW!Eggman is different from Archie!Eggman don't expect her to be the same as well.

I'd rather not recruit another hero unit that would force us to spend actions on them.
Thunderbolt may not need us to since they're a Eggman Empire Zealot but I do still wanna meet up with Captain Metal.

We kinda have nothing to offer to another prince or king unit really.

Reminder that meeting with othe factions lock us in on collab actions.

I mean our logistic actions are kinda free since at the moment is just making badniks.

We also have access to two logistics due to Orbot and Cubot.

I will point out a small fact that people have maybe missed out on, since I'm pushing for Majima recruitment: Majima knows where we are. He's been in our base. Starline had no idea who he was or how his picture and info got in his presentation. That means Majima got in, added himself to Starlines presentation, and then left without anyone in our base noticing.

That is a guy i want on our team before he ends up on someone else's.

A Waste Of Time
A Waste Of Time

"What is this?" You glared irritably at what was supposed to be one of your latest efforts in tinkering.

You been having some good results lately and thought to it be an excellent time to tinker now that the preliminary research for that cure was out of the way.

You unfortunately lack the time to actually make something truly useful but you might has well makes some headway and get some enjoyment out of it. Or at least that was the way it was suppose to be.

It was an an ugly thing, having taken a regular plastic bowl as a base and worked around it with what useless scrap you have. It resembles a turtle with functions and programming that makes you itch.

You scowled, during the whole process your mind wandered to that recent visit to the village and that uncomfortable conversation with Belle.
While your mind repeated that memory, it seems your hands weren't as idle, leading this failure.

Turning it over in you hands, you were strongly tempted to tear it apart but eventually gave up and dropped it on the floor.

With a small thud, the robot fell to the ground intact and in seconds it's internals started whirring as it turned on for the first time.

It's head and feet poked out of its plastic shell and with a only small glance at you, started to stumble it's way out of the room toward it's mission.

You kept scowling as it went, it's construction was quite flimsy by your standards, unlike a true badnik it won't survive a direct hit from anything dangerous. A stomp from you could be enough to damage it. There's simply no way it can survive the journey on its own from here.

It was only that it was pointless to recycle and held nothing useful was why you let it continue nothing more.

The little turtle-bot marched on, slowly moving past bemused stares from the base inhabitants to reaching the outside and into the war-torned zone.

It moved slowly past ruins, factories, and wonders as the days turned into nights. It learned to hide in it's shell from danger as many overlook a plastic bowl.

It hid as reprogrammed badniks crossed paths and when empire soldiers with their tanks scouted around it.

It had to stop hiding at one point when a battle erupted around and the impact of an explosion knocked it into a bush. It learned to like bushes.

Eventually it's battered body reach it's destination, a abandoned village with a large windmill.

With some effort it managed to push the door, shedding some light into the now empty home. It explored the home noting the general layout, scanning for any structural damage, and when all results were negative it went to work.

With a small pop, two delicate mechanical limbs rose from it's shell, the hands attached grabbed a broom and began cleaning. It started with the floors, then with a duster the shelves until the house was completely spotless.

Satisfied at having complete it's mission for the time being, it ambled toward the workshop for rest and some much needed maintence.

The house would remain clean and repaired until the day it's inhabitants return.

Thought it was depressing to leave the house with all those good memories to rot so this eventually came to mind.

Majima Everywhere!

For real, Starline doesn't know how the slide got in there an neither to you guys.
Oh, thanks for reminding me! Majima has a network of shortcuts, passageways, and tunnels that let him appear basically anywhere he wants. He made this to be able to throw hands at will with a man with a pathological hatred of unbroken bones because that's his idea of fun.

I also think that if anyone on this Earth can help Eggman become a better person while also still being a crazy supervillain, it's Majima.

Also another reason to hire Piastol upocming turn, she offers a connection to Skies of Arcadia. Blue Rogues target large and armed ships, part of they code, and if we rebuilt the Egg Fleet expect them at some point to show up in our neck of woods and there's the Valuan Empire and Piastol could help us to fight them as well.

I understand the logic of looking for That Damned Hedgehog.

But I'd REALLY like to just go in and attack the Zeti(that's how you spell it right?). Regaining even a single factory likely allows Eggman to do a lot of shit because...

Well...

Man is right. He's a Genius.

Another thing about Majima, he could help us out when we eventually have to throw hands with Curien, given Yakuza Dead Souls. Not to mention he'd be the only Hero Unit I can think of that would not only willingly walk into a zombie infested mansion with one or two godlike zombies but would be excited to do so.

This was his reaction upon realizing zombies were in Kamorucho.

Send him to the mansion and he'll have a ball.

The trouble it's that the Zeti are really powerful fighters but the primary problem it's that they are technopaths. Not much trouble for the Restoration, the Empire, Black Arms and to a lesser extent the GUN but Eggman relies on his technology and robotic legions to accomplish stuff and enforce his will.

The Deadly Six are his worst adversaries in a way because it turn his greatest strength into his greatest weakness, even Metal Sonic is in danger to fall under they powers, not sure about Rusty but expect her to fall under they sways as well.

That's why we are being careful with them plus they hold a heck of a grudge against Eggman and if they caught a whiff the doctor return they will bring the hammer down on us.

I am not against recruting Majima but not at expanse of Piastol since we need at least a Mystic Hero at our side.

Uhhhhh..........I want to refute this, but damn it you have a point.........uggghhhh........but, do we really want our mystic hero to be an edgy Grim-Reaper type that's basically a chunni teenager? Eggman already has one somewhat angry child to deal with, not sure what having another would do for him.

Though given her death Magic she could also deal with the zombies........but she'd be lame about it........ugghhh......DAMN YOU AND DAMN YOUR GOOD POINTS!!!!!!!

Imagine what he could do if we made him a cyborg.....

Congrats, you basically have a Metal Gear character right there and then.

And yet, presumably, Sage managed to under their noses return to Eggman and bring with her some Badnicks as well. So there's clearly a way to work around them.

Though yeah, being able to build in some kind of Anti-Technopath thing would be useful.

While true remember the description we gave for thunderbolt, she is as unsociable and eggman zealot as her Archie counterpart, trust us, just keep that in mind.

According to QMs you just need to fix her ship to make her stay and that's going to be a Logistic Action a category that we have a Free Action.
you also will need to help her find Vise too, keeo that in mind. Fixing her ship is just the first thing and an easy way to gain her loyalty.

Majima can wait, because the fact he put his information in the presentation means he wants something from Dr. Eggman. So it's not much a reach to guess he's willing to wait.

A) Don't assume it was him himself who put the info there. B) Don't assume that if he wants something from eggman, it's so indispensable that he will wait patiently for that. C) Reminder, that someone/somehow, information of another person got inside Starlline's presentation, without him, nor eggman, nor the cameras/sensors nor the other people in the base, being aware of.

Let that sink for a moment please.

That's just majima though

Though now we have reason to believe that someone else may or may not have slipped Majima's resume in in the form of WoG.

Though that does beg the question, who would do that for Majima?

Best guess I have would be the Floarist of Sai, given he'd be one of the few characters with the ability to do so, though assuming they're here, they're all the way in Japan, and while they have an impressive network not sure they'd have that kind of ability spanning over to Green Hills in such a short time.

Fuck it, I'm gunning for Majima. Considering his wild nature, I just feel we have little time until he decides to bail, because Majima is just that guy - and remember, we already lost access to Nack this turn, and Majima seems like a very unique hire oportunity.
