you are training the darcsens that Isara managed to found that it. any new darcsen thata rrives won't inmeidately get the new training they get. So you can train new groups that arrive, or keep focusing on the same one.

Yup, the hero unit assigned trains them in their skills and they gain skills on it. Isara most likely would be for becoming tank operators, Conquering Storm would be experts in stealth/ninjas and the like etc.
Unfortunately Belle is not available to train them, you do need someone with experience in fighting and warfare

I think let Clove train the darcsen could be a good idea since she could give them bonus in general combat. We kinda need good troops to fight off invasions at least when our badniks are away.
Nepthys probably would make them raiders, since she was the Egg Boss of a desert region, possible give them bonus in ambushes.
Thunderbolt, if given a Egg Boss trait, probably would make them terror troops given her personality.
Canaan, possible would make them long range specialists and so on.
Well I hope all the actions we took got some success.

Think organic troops like Pokemon.
They start quite weak but given them enough training they could evolve in a force to be reckon it.
Possible general training is much better in this moment, we kinda need good troops to hold the line when our robotic army is away doing other stuff.
Canaan can train them to be snipers later once they get down the basics.

Once we done with Zenna maybe we can trade her for Nepthys like we did Zomon for Thunderbolt.
I'd like to see what Isara training would do maybe make them combat engineers or tank specialists

Why not have Piastol train them? Having backup in the Mystic actions would help us. Plus a mage unit buffing our fighting units is a great to have.
Assuming we do get Majima this turn I'd be down to rebuild Honey's shop.
Actually, wonder if we could have the option of recruiting the rescued Drascans into Majima Construction?

Yeah but tanks are probably going be expensive to deploy and our main grip is our Power Cap is quite low at the moment.

From what I heard, Valkyria Chronicles isn't really the most magic intensive setting. The Darcsen's probably aren't very capable magic wise.
Not sure it'd be that easy, we'd probably need Piastol to go dumpster diving for a tome/grimoire to help teach the wannabe Mages before someone accidentally casts mend buttcrack on themselves.
We would also need moonstones for them as well and how to reproduce them for our forces
What do moonstones do exactly? Like are they a magic catalyst or something like that?

This is a completely unrelated, but my sleep deprived mind had the bizarre mental image of Majima and a bunch of Darscen doing the Thriller dance XD
So, basically, the Darcsen soldiers get to specialize and grow based off of what we train them in and equip them with, plus being 'friendlier' forces. The tradeoff with Badniks though is that once a Badnik is built or upgraded, we have the design. Darcsen dies, any replacements would need to be trained from the ground up. Badniks, we can get new ones off the assembly line.
And I agree that we probably want Piastol to be doing Mystic actions for us. She's the only one with a good Mystic score after all and there are a good few research options there.
Assuming we get Majima, his DC is 90, even with all the bonuses.

Even if the darscens are not powerful magically, they would still be useful if they learned to buff, and helping research Mystic stuff just needs them to have a base to provide a bonus.

true that's why personally I'm leaning towards combat engineers they could work almost like our Egg Magician Healing our badniks or even work like tf2 engineer and deploy sentry turrets
Whoever decided to introduce Eggman to Team Fortress 2 is getting both a raise and thrown under the bus.
