we've had confirmation that the Hard boiled Heavies are not ruling their own region like in the base version of Sega villains victorious, that said probably, off the top of my head the Hard Boiled Heavies have betrayed Eggman 3 times. in Mania, in the 30th anniversary comic, and in the Superstars tie in comic.

I'm hoping to finally get this monster of a omake out by New Years tomorrow, or at least the first of January. But it's been rough going.
Thousands upon thousands of words of just non-stop combat between two, and then three characters is…something. Not the first time I've written exactly that. But still. I can only hope it'll come to be good enough. I definitely don't have as good a grasp on Selvaria as a character as Metal or even Shadow, but I'm doing the best as I can.

@ShieldCrown maybe you can ask about all the darcsen or as Eggman call "strays" to be in the Interlude after all they probably not do much except maybe clean the base or soemthing?
They probably are getting anxious by now or something so it would be nice to find out their view.
Perhaps even Isara excited over some of the badniks. After all some of them do have some sort of animal behavior and limited emotions.

...Come to think of it, it actually might be in character to capture/kidnap/save Selvaria just so Metal can get that rematch.

I've been handling the Darcsens so far, my last one wasn't canon unfortunately, but I do have some ideas for things for them to do.
I don't doubt they'd be able to help with the underground railroad after all.

Btw, in the Madworld setting that airborne virus was a real thing or not?
In one of the cutscenes Jack handler mention they have yet to find traces of the airborne virus, so if is real getting Axel and his troops would be a trouble if we don't get rid of that virus.
I pretty much see Dr. Eggman burning Jefferson Island to the ground because considering how the narrators are they probably made very ill tasted jokes about Eggman mental state and the doctor is oddly touchy when people insult his intelligence when Axel probably introduce himself as a Egg Boss.

I'm sorry but the idea of Metal Sonic with Excalibur moving to 'liberate' the Empire's Work Camps sounds too amazing to pass up.

Axel would not mind but he definitely want to be out of there when the doctor raze the blasted place to the ground.
I can even see the doctor caught one of the transmissions where the narrators starting to insult Axel boss, calling very insult to his mental state, something I will not say here, and the doctor get more and mroe angry while everybody around him make himself scarce.

Caliburn/Excalibur is Sonic's sword. It already has a chosen knight, so he'd have to kill Sonic first. You know. "Become the true Sonic"

I still think is a good idea to put Isara to build the city since is likely the doctor is not considering people living there, like he probably consider shoving people in a bunch of apartments and in a corner fo the city and call it the day, and everybody else would follow his plans to the letter. At least Isara is not afraid to take some creativity liberties and the doctor is being oddly tolerant when comes to her.

First step? Actually forge excalibur, reminder that in Sonic the sword is a combinación of caliburn and the other swords.
Cuernetly Caliburn is broken like in the final figjt of Sonic and the Black Knight.
