The Death Egg Robot is a giant mech personally piloted by Eggman, in Sonic Forces he even make a mass-produced version that the blasted Zeti also have under they command. While really powerful cost so many Metals it's not worthy doing this time. Thus the low roll, I imagine the higher the roll the more feasible the invention will be to make in our situation.

I would not mind to create some weapons for the Egg Mobile trough since this is much more feasible.

So that Robot schematics will only be actually useful once we are figuratively rolling in Metals? More reason to get a proper procurement industry rolling asap^^

One of the Interludes is already finished, just going to wait a bit to give you guys time to digest the current update!
But I'm hungry now!

[X] Black Shield
Result: Action to Upgrade Rusty Rose.
New Badnik Unlocked: Rusty Badniks Versions!
Oh Amy's just going to love that not only does she have a cyborg doppleganger but that we're makeing badniks based on her.
Here's what the cats from RE roll looked like btw.
For anyone who doesn't know google says the "cats" are actually something called KapuKapu from ChuChu Rocket.

So we have three interludes the first being Eggman and Dr. Stone the second is minion, recruiting, and thirdly the last interlude is Mr. Tinker
So who wants to bet that we meet Belle at Mr. Tinker's interlude?

Sorry my friend but per rules of this quest omakes can't stack in a single action while people are welcome to do them, they only there to people having fun than actually be a integral part of the quest to avoid omake ruining the quest. Sometimes failure is fun.
Like Dwarf Fortress? Granted, I haven't played the game, but I've heard stories. But okay.

I wonder...Depending on what actions we take, how would the Restoration (or our minions) view us? Like, if we act more restrained, would people start to join us more?

I'm not sure which enemy we should go for first. Zavok, or Black Doom. If we snipe the Deadly Six, we get a huge bulk of our bots back. But the Black Arms have a LOT of competent soldiers, the Black Comet, AND Space Colony Ark. If we get the Ark back, we at least have an orbital laser and some some old tech to tinker with (provided that we keep the Black Arms and Zeti off the station).

I wonder if we'll get a choice with belle
I know in the comics he tried to get her to work with him
If we somehow get the option with Belle....I'm kinda torn. It might be nice to have her work with, say, Stone or Metal....But maybe it might be best to just let her go to the Restoration....Maybe. Thoughts?

Belle is our "daughter"/creation
She will come work with her father/creator eventually
I doubt she'll have much of a choice
Remember we're the bad guy
We may "fix" her by reprogramming her eughhh

I would like to be less of a bad guy to her but still

Ehh, I will say don't assume higher rolls means more feasible, it doesn't work like that.

It's currently how good or bad The invention Eggman comes up with is.

Could be something really good that is low in Metal cost, or way to pricey, and by the same coin could be something meh but either pricey or cheap.
It depends on what you roll.

Also, as said in the Uodate you have the Death Egg Robot! It's the classic version one

…. That's the thing I want to get Bell as well but… I feel like we just have to go with our guts… as for the restoration and gun we have to work with them to essentially beat and the Zetti along with the Empire off of Greenhill zone… And somehow were able to do some cyber nation or legionatzion on their hero units

There's one hero unit I do see missing from the restoration though… where is whisper?

EGG+STONE= A Match Made in Hell New
EGG+STONE= A Match Made in Hell

You were Agent Stone and you were… lost.

Completely and utterly lost.

You dedicated EVERYTHING to one man. To one brilliant, amazing man who had all your heart.

You knew, despite how it appeared to others, it had been mutual.

The Doctor didn't just let anyone hang around him. The Doctor didn't NEED to come back to him as soon as he could. The Doctor didn't NEED to bring him along to help pilot his grand last invention.

And yet, all that happened. They were a perfect pair, he liked to think. It was them against the world.

And then the world took everything from him.

He had passed out halfway through the battle after hitting his head, like a rube. He wasn't sure how he survived The Eggman Robot's destruction.

(Sometimes he loathes that he did when he will never know if the Doctor followed suit.)

He is fuzzy on the details, but when he came to, the machine was destroyed and, once again, Dr. Robotnik was gone. Not stranded in another dimension this time. He might have been… been….

He couldn't finish the sentence.

He went into hiding then, infiltrating GUN. It was child's play to get in with those idiots. The way they spoke about the Doctor, celebrated him being gone, it made his blood boil though. He may have… taken his anger out on the person he stole his uniform from.

(He wouldn't be a problem if- when Dr. Robotnik resurfaced.)

…And then everything was hit by a bright light.

And Stone was here. Still alone.

He woke up near the remains of the Mean Bean Coffee Cafe. It had been damaged in the fight, but not irreparably so.

With nothing else to do, he got to work rebuilding it.

People helped, here and there. And when the cafe was finished, they came in droves, loving his coffee.

He pretended otherwise, but it offered him no pleasure.

But it was useful to be a liked member of the community.

For when he came back.

The Doctor would be back.

…The Doctor always came back…

It was early afternoon, About 12:38 (You had learned great punctuality, working under the Doctor), when your thoughts of the past were interrupted by the cafe door's bell ringing.

With practiced ease, you swallowed your misery and gave a winning smile.

"Hello! How many I assist-" You started.

And then you stopped and stared. You teared up.

It… it couldn't be… but it was!

It was-

Xxx

You were Dr. Eggman, and you didn't understand why this fool was staring at you with tears in his eyes.

"Doctor. You're back. Finally, You're finally back." The man said, barely able to speak above a whisper from the sheer emotion.

It was making you sick, and deeply weirded out.

"What are you blathering ab-" You start to demand, before you get a weird feeling again.

Shattered Memories? DC: 75
Roll: 78!
He remembers!

Before you can finish your sentence, you grip your head as memories come flooding in.

You remember barging into a government area, you remember sending strange white spears around the world, you remember an obsession with licking a blue quill, dancing, singing, isolation, another tricking of that Enchidna, GRAND POWER interrupted by an explosion…

It all comes back to you before you black out, your last memory being the strange man rushing to your side.

Xxx

You blink as you stare at Stone as he keeps you steady. Ah. You could always count on that sycophant to be around. It was one use he had, amongst a sea of annoying quirks.

"Stone." You nod. He practically broke down then and there, and you casually smack him.

"Get ahold of yourself, man." You rolled your eyes. Without skipping a beat, he nods and provides you with Your beloved Steamed Austrian Goat Milk coffee, to your delight. Though maybe you should cut down. This body certainly had some… extra heft.

"Doctor, I knew you would come back. I knew you would. I just had to be patient. And I was. I really was-" Stone was blabbering on.

"Stone, you imbecile - Mmm, that's some good coffee - Would you listen?" You sigh. Stone, ever obedient, shuts up.

"I am going away. Probably forever. And this chunky boy… he's going to take my place." You sigh. Blegh. Emotion. How ridiculous.

But not like you would be around long to regret it. You could already feel this… Eggman, trying to reassert control.

"NO! I don't understand, Doctor." Stone pleads.

"Of Course you don't. Look, Stone. I… your service was useful. It was replaceable, but you… ugh. You know what I am trying to say!" You snap.

"Of course I do, doctor. I… I always did. I won't forget you."

You laugh at that and do a little spin.

"Bah! Of course you won't, fool. I am just too memorable. LATERS!"

Xxx

Xxx

With that, you suddenly regain consciousness and shake your head with a wince.

Standing there was the man, his tears fresh. He wiped them when you looked at him.

"Don't worry, doctor. No matter what form you take, I'm your rock." He handed you something.

You were about to complain about getting a bill when you didn't even get to order anything, but you blinked in surprise.

It was the deed to the cafe. You looked back to the smiling man, who stood dutifully with his hands behind his back.

"...Come alone to these coordinates as soon as you can. If you are followed, you will regret it."

"Understood, sir. You have my word I will serve you well until the end of my days, though you will surely succeed at your goals long before then."

You blink before laughing. He joins in, though it's less malicious and more one of genuine jovial emotions.

"I think we'll get along just fine, Mr…?"

"Stone. Agent Stone. Forever at your service, Doctor."

Rewards: Gained Agent Stone As a Hero Unit!
Agent Stone

Power: 13 (He claims, through his association with another me, He was technically a government agent, so he can't be completely weak. The damage he can sustain certainly speaks to this.)

Heart: 17 (Stone has admitted he can make small talk, but he rarely interacted with many people outside that other you, at least for extended periods of time. He did tend to be your middle man though apparently, so he has learned to get along with others, at least long enough to form alliances.)

Logistics: 29 (Stone is dutiful and deeply skilled at obeying even the most unorthodox of commands. He would find a way to solve nuclear fusion if I were to request it.)

Brains: 17 (He is slightly above average, mostly from years of observation.)

Trickery: 19 (He's not perfect at this, but he did get his current coffee shop via framing an innocent man for embezzlement. That requires certain skill - and a hidden deviousness that even I have to take notice of.)

Mystic: 6 (He seems aware magic exists, but has little ability to utilize it.)

Loyalty: 50

Traits:

I Am Your Rock: Stone's utter willingness to accept any treatment seems to extend solely to me, but it is still odd, if useful. (Stone's loyalty is always capped at 50, with even the most drastic of actions having reduced opinion losses.)

I'm Here, Doctor: Stone displays an uncanny knack for knowing what exactly I might require. (When Assigned to an action that results in Critical Failure, roll a 1d8. On a 1-4, the action is reduced to a mere Failure from Stone anticipating this might have happened and taking measures to end up reducing the effects.)

Your Austrian Goat Milk Latte, Doctor: ...He makes a fine cup of joe. (+5 to Rolls Involving making coffee.)

Gained the Mean Bean Coffee Cafe as a secondary base!

Let's deal with the deadly first, the black arms are such a menace that we actually would need to collab on that one.

The restoration an GUN would probably be up for a cease fire until those slimy aliens are gone.

I wonder...Depending on what actions we take, how would the Restoration (or our minions) view us? Like, if we act more restrained, would people start to join us more?
Probably not. Eggman's kind of burnt a lot of bridges what with the invasions and nuclear terrorism an all that. I mean people will adapt to anything but it'd probably take years of working together and good behavior for people to fully trust Eggman. Brainwashing, teaching propaganda to the conquered and robotization are more likely outcomes.

We should go for opportunistic strikes on whoever but for right now I say Zavok. It'll be easier to hit the Black Arms with our army and resources back on track.

If we somehow get the option with Belle....I'm kinda torn. It might be nice to have her work with, say, Stone or Metal....But maybe it might be best to just let her go to the Restoration....Maybe. Thoughts?
I'd like Belle as a hero. And I think that whatever part of Eggmans brain that enjoyed being Mr Tinker would too. It's just we're evil and she's not. It's likely to end in tears and/or a reprogramming but I'd like to see where it goes.

Now I am just imagining Stone and Starline getting into a fight over who Eggman likes more while on a mission with Rusty while she is just getting increasingly exasperated XD

cool shattered memory activated not surprising considering . It's agent Stone. I do wonder what kind of trait we get from live action movie Eggman.

Will be added soon but you get knowledge of all his inventions from the Movie(you can build anything Movie Eggman did)/memories of the first 2 Sonic movies and the most one potent thing of all.

…you get a dancing trait.

Yes. It's really really important, trust us.

I doubt she'll have much of a choice

I would like to be less of a bad guy to her but still
Hm...if we, somehow, get our Archie Grandmaster/Egg Bosses....we could have Belle work with the more level-headed leaders...Like Cassia the Pronghorn (Cassia the Pronghorn) Or Beauregard Rabbot (Beauregard Rabbot)

Oh god I just realize we're all the Eggman combine into one so we're like disco elysium eggman only that's if we beat the dc on shatter memories
So....who's going to help us find our Pristine Chaos Emerald? XD

I mean this is Eggman we are talking about, his theatrics are ingrained into him.

Like I honestly believe that all of his final boss theme's are just him playing his mixtapes on the speakers.

May look silly, but it really isn't when you are dealing with a robot army and a guy who is riding a death machine.

Oh guys I just remembered that in universe in the main sonic canon Eggman is really a great dancer yes that fat Eggman video that was early YouTube is literally canon on how he dances
