So this is a bit of a idea for a Omake as of now. Short but I just imagine what could pass for Orbot and Cubot small talk while reparing, once again, the Egg Mobile.
In the depths of Dr. Eggman's lair, the metallic clanging of tools echoed as Orbot and Cubot worked diligently on the Egg Mobile. Doctor Eggman had ordered them to make extensive repairs on his beloved hovercraft. The hovering vehicle was a patchwork of cracks, dents, and scorched paint—a testament to its many battles.
Cubot held a wrench, his yellow chassis covered in smudges of grease, while Orbot studied a blueprint. With each repair, they couldn't help but reminisce about the times the Egg Mobile had met its demise.
"Hey, remember that time Sonic sent this thing tumbling into the ocean?" Cubot chuckled, scratching his head.
"Which time, Cubot?" Orbot replied, rolling his eyes. "That's happened at least three times that I can recall. Once with Sonic, once with Tails, and once with Knuckles when he threw a rock the size of my head."
Cubot laughed, twisting a bolt into place. "Oh yeah, the rock! Doc was furious! Didn't he say something like 'next time, I'll build a boulder-proof Egg Mobile!'"
Orbot shook his head. "And yet, here we are. No boulder-proofing in sight."
They both leaned over a panel on the side of the craft, their robotic fingers delicately securing new wiring. Orbot sighed as he stared at the scorch marks.
"And don't forget the time Amy nearly bashed it in with her hammer," Orbot continued. "We barely managed to retrieve it in one piece."
"Oh, oh! And when Tails hooked it with that tow cable!" Cubot exclaimed. "He dragged the whole thing across Green Hill Zone!"
Orbot let out a groan. "The Doctor was airborne for nearly a mile. I swear he spun around more times than he would in a loop-de-loop."
The two robots chuckled, knowing that after each repair, they'd likely be back here, fixing up the Egg Mobile yet again.
Cubot looked at Orbot, tilting his head. "Think we'll ever be able to build one that can survive Sonic and his pals?"
Orbot shrugged. "Doubtful. They'd just find new ways to break it. But hey, it keeps us busy."
With the last bolt tightened and the wiring in place, they stepped back, admiring their handiwork. It looked as good as new, if only for now.
Orbot sighed and patted the freshly-repaired chassis. "Until next time, old friend. Until next time."

Metal was on his Neo-Metal Sonic Form, with that Form he did have an advantage against Selvaria, not an overwhelming one, butan advantage none the less.
Eggman (and you guys) can come up with something tokeep her contained withoput a doubt, just need enough data to come with soemthing.
Oh no, Drives and subdrives are supposed to be on the Hero unit list on the respective character Sheet.
I forgot to put them honestly, will fix that soon so for turn 2 theyare there. For this turn it won't affect too many thing.

Heh. A small but wonderful little omake. I can totally see it happening.
Hmm...second question. When we repair Metal what form will he be in?
And it seems we'll need to prepare a bit before we can capture Selvaria. (For obivous reasons she is far too valuable to kill.)
Perhaps Eggman's expertise in dealing with Eldritch abombination will help there.

Normal base Metal Form.
You could try and upgrade Metal to Neo Metal form, but that's I'll take a bit more resources than Eggman has at the moment, so you might need to build towards it and will take some turns, once you take back your assets from Zavok's that's another story.
Yup, will give a boost to combat rolls (not Power rolls, just went Eggman goes to combat/adventures.
So that's what it does...alright that is pretty useful, still think Heroes + Minions to buff our base rolls is best though.
It's unfortunate we can't restore Metal to his full glory, and inconvenient that we have little more than a box of scraps at the moments...
But everyone knows the most dangerous thing you can give to a Mad Scientist is Time.
And no one even knows we're on the board, how unfortunate for them.

Yeah like this a old song for Orbot and Cubot, they probably see Egg Mobile repair as a secondary or even a tertiary part of the duties at this point. Besides think this as a bit melancholy for simpler times now that the world has gone mad so you gotta take comfort in doing familiar stuff.

My omake itself is part a bit of melancholy by part of Eggman, my reason why my pland is called "Back to basics" is because the world has gone mad, his entire army and facilites were stolen from him, his nemesis is missing and all his hidden assets has also disappear. He literally have to restart all over again.
The Egg Mobile is one of his oldest inventions, perhaps predating even the badniks themselves, maybe it make no sense for Eggman repairing his hovercraft now since it could use to make badniks but for me it feels to me in character he gone a bit melancholy after everything that happened and attempt to have something familiar around, specially since one of his personal action involve going back to Mr. Tinker Lab so he definitely will go trought some emotional stuff, specially since here Mr. Tinker has not suffer a death of personality like in the IDW comics.
So I think he at least probably want something that remind he's Doctor Eggman and not a small time inventor that will never achieve anything noteworthy besides making some children laugh... Maybe he's trying a bit too hard to distance himself of Mr. Tinker.
Edit: Sonic The Hedgehog was one my first games and facing Dr. Eggman with his chain ball in the end of Green Hill Zone is a blast of the past for me. So I think I would not make justice to the character if I don't try to restore his iconic ride to working condition.
